Greek salad was mostly inedible. Most of the lettuce was brown, the tomatoes were mushy. We picked out the feta and olives and ate those.

Scheduled delivery, which I ordered about an hour ahead of time, was about 45 minutes late. When I called they said the delivery guy had just gotten back from delivering in MAUMEE! That wasn't my problem. Poor planning on their part. Then, when we got the food, the salad was inedible. Most of the lettuce was brown, and the tomatoes were mushy. We picked out the feta and olives and ate that. Very disappointed.

Nice place

Came through Bowling Green again. Meal was fresh. Combo 3 has hummus, tabouli salad, grapes leaves with or without meat. The side of lamb was perfect. All for $10. Parking is in front of the shop or in the side lot. Always is a good choice.

Chicken shawarma, hummous, falafel not pictured (I eated it all)

It was soooo good. I got the chicken shawarma with falafel and hummous and everything was delicious. The chicken was juicy, the hummous creamy, falafel had a nice crunch and seasoned well, everything perfect. Customer service was also nice, the employees were super kind and helpful. Picture attached of the thoroughly enjoyed meal.

Chicken Shawarma Sandwich

My friends and I came in and right off the cashier was friendly and patient with us when it took us a little bit to figure out what we wanted to order. The place wasn't very full but the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, the AC was going so it was nice and cool with the summer heat kicking in outside. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and an order of falafel. The falafel was the first thing I tried and it came on a bed of lettuce with a cup of their homemade hummus, absolutely delicious. I inhaled that and then started on the Shawarma, also incredible. Very nice and filling, definitely dip it in some hummus if you get it. 10/10

This is a very good place for a tasty lunch. The food is quite good, the service is efficient and the atmosphere is simple but pleasant. The prices are more than reasonable making it an excellent bargain. The format here is walk-up-and-order. On our visit, the person waiting on us was efficient and it did not take long to get our food as we had our order in less than 10 minutes. I chose a chicken kabob combo which was accompanied by hummus, salad and rice. I found it to be quite satisfying. With water to drink, the total for the two of us was less than $18. At under $9 per person, this was an excellent deal. I would not hesitate to recommend it for lunch if you are near downtown Bowling Green.

The side order Mediterranean Pasta...It was basically veggies cut in giant chunks atop chewy spaghetti. Why spaghetti?!?! Not good!

Poco Piatti - Humus with chicken (small)

We finally made it here and we are kicking ourselves that it took us so long!…read more Our service was 10/10 which really started the experience off on the right foot. They bring out fresh pita that's fired up right in the oven and it is out of this world. We paired that with the hummus and it was delish. For food, we shared a few items: Moussaka which is one of our fav dishes and this one did not disappoint. A delicious lasagna-like dish made with eggplant that's served in a tomato sauce. We also tried the cabbage rolls and chicken wraps. The chicken wraps could be a daily treat. They are so light and fresh and great with the yogurt sauce they are served with. We didn't have dessert but we will definitely be back for more! The grape leaves are a top item I need to try. They do have a private room for larger parties as well.

Slightly elegant, in that "special night out next to a Pottery Barn" kind of way. We've long been fans of the food. We've made the rounds. The only location left was Levis Commons--and now that we've finally made it there, we can say: it holds up. Warm service, tasty as ever, and an atmosphere that feels like someone lit a candle in a cul-de-sac. It's a welcome twist on a cuisine we love--refined, but approachable. Perrysburg, you're doing fine. Highly recommended. IYKYK--and if you don't, well... you'll probably end up here eventually. Maybe after a little shopping.

This place was recommended by a local and she all told us to call to make reservation ahead of…read moredinner. It was a great dining experience! I had seafood Cioppino and my friend ordered Wild Boar Bolognese. We also shared Classic Hummust o share as appetizer. WOW, everything tasted great and delicious. I passed by the kitchen to go use the restroom and had to stop to enjoy all the dishes that were prepared and ready to serve. Even a simple Romaine Wedge looked so good with halal beef bacon sprinkled on it. Could not order any dessert since we both were full. A wonderful dining experience and deducting back for more if I am in the area in the future.

Went back to Souk last Saturday with 3 other dining partners and really had a great experience…read more We had a reservation and unfortunately, they seated us in the front room. It's nice in there, but it was just too loud for us. We asked our waitress if we could move to the back room. she checked with the hostess, and it was no problem. She graciously helped us move, thanked us and handed us off to our new waitress. She was really nice about everything. Our new waitress took our drink orders, and I decided to have a Manhattan. It was just the well whiskey (I'm guessing they used domestic whiskey, so the "e" needs to be there!) and it was really well made. They even used a giant ice cube that kept the drink well chilled without the dilution issues typical ice can bring. On to appetizers... We had the calamari and an order of hummus with onions and browned butter. The calamari was really nice, but kind of stingy. It was very well cooked, nicely breaded, etc. My one quibble is there just wasn't enough, especially for the price. The hummus... So, the hummus was a rather generous portion that was out of this world delicious. It was served in a large bowl with browned onions, brown butter, paprika and fried or baked chickpeas. The hummus reminded me of Middle East Market. Smooth, creamy, garlicky, well-seasoned. If you go to Souk and don't get this, you're making a huge mistake. After the apps, we moved on to our entrees... I had the crab cakes. They were really enjoyable, served with some nicely dressed, mixed salad greens. they were full of crab meat (but unfortunately not lump crab). The outside was crispy and the inside was very nicely cooked. Great flavor. One of the folks at the table had the butternut squash ravioli. It was probably my favorite dish of all that night. Amazing flavor and perfect texture. the thing that makes their ravioli the "leader of the ravioli wars" is they served them with a sherry, cream sauce that was just amazing. Kind of a sweet and savory, salty thing. Delicious. Our other guest had the Kafta Ravioli and said it was really good. I didn't try it, so I really can't comment, but it did look pretty great. After our entrees, we moved on to coffee and split a desert. Souk's Turkish coffee was great. It's been years since I've had Turkish coffee, but it was really strong and piping hot. Just perfect. We also split an order of their bread pudding. WOW! I've not had bread pudding that good since I was in New Orleans. So, my first trip to Souk really sucked (see my review). My guess is they were having a bad night, and we got stuck with a really sh*tty waiter. The place is expensive, but the food and drink substantiate the prices. Our waitress was very professional, she knew the menu and offered informed suggestions when asked. She seemed to know when we needed her. We were not rushed and really felt like they appreciated out business. Can't wait to go back.
