Loved the variety on the menu. Some were different then i was used to so was nice to know i could try something new. Side salad was good and well portioned. Cauliflower was delish. Grape leaves were good but were better the next day. Potatoes as always were very well seasoned. Hummus with everything would prefer to have less grainy texture but was still good. Gyro meat was not bland and not overpowering. The sojouk kabob was a little too salty for me. Ordered baklava and wasnt put in bag. Forgot to get it on way out. But when i called they offered for me to stop in a get it. Very good service overall. Friendly. Owners on site. Nice dining experience.

This is a great, family-run establishment in Tecumseh, MI. They are not pretentious at all and have amiable staff/owners. The food is quite good, and the prices are very reasonable. Portions are filling, and although the menu is limited to the basic choices, everyone will find something to enjoy. My favorite is the beef kabob - both wrap and plate. The meat is of excellent quality, and the preparation gives you a great-tasting dish. NOTE: The desserts are EXCELLENT, and the variety is wide. Located on the main street, there is street parking, and parking is located in the rear. I have been here several times and find no reason NOT to go back!!

This started out as a very successful food truck and morphed into a new restaurant. I've heard nothing but great things from others n my town and have been wanting to try it. I tried last week but they are closed on Wednesdays. I definitely was impressed by all of the items. I chose a chicken schwarma wrap for myself and hummus and Greek salad for tomorrow. My two kids picked a gyro wrap and a Philly cheese steak wrap. We were all very happy with our choices. I love their thick pita bread that holds up to the fillings inside. I have been a fan of Mediterranean food for awhile and it's great to have Ali the owner and his wonderful restaurant here in Tecumseh. I will definitely be returning.

What a great addition to the downtown area! Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the place was hustling. What a great sign. Lots to choose from! Staff was super nice and food was quick. My chicken shawarma was one of the best I've had especially in the lenawee area! Very flavorful! Can't wait to come back and try more. The dining area was clean and trendy. 5-6 sears for 4 people and a few seats for 2 people. This is a must stop. I will be back for more

Everything we ate from the salad and its dressing to the mussels and the gyro were both fresh and delicious. The mussels didn't seem to be debearded but they were fresh and delicious. The gyro doesn't naturally come with feta but they brought a large side of it! And there was one server and the host who managed to provide quality service even with 6 tables coming in at the same time.

I want to love this place, but I can only like it. The food is too hit and miss for me to "not be…read moreable to wait" until my next visit. I'll eat here, but not as often as i would if they polished up their menu/execution. The chicken dishes, all of them, are terrible. They advertise "tender chicken cut into slices," but if you look at any of the pics on here, it's all the same - tiny, little chicken bits, dry and overcooked. The more obscure dishes are the way to go. They fail hard on the basics, but hit home runs on their more unheard of menu items. If you've never heard of something, but it sounds good - that's what you should order here. Chicken lemon rice: 3/10 Not enough chicken, lemon tastes artificial and weird, soup is bland. I've had better CLR at most any coney island. Chicken Gyro: 3/10 Chicken was dry, the orzo was dry and overcooked, tziki sauce was thick and lacked flavor. Plenty of chicken... I would have rather had less chicken, cooked better. I haven't seen their chicken kabob, but it seems like this place uses the thick part of their breast for the kabobs, and uses the scraps bits for all of their other dishes. Grape Leaves: 7/10 Good flavor, good sauce... wish the CLR soup tasted as good as the sauce from the grape leaves. Stifado: 9/10 Excellent dish. Good amount of beef, great flavor, nice stew. This is the dish that I would come back for. Bread basket: Bread: 4/10 - they serve the bread ice cold. Olive oil: 9/10 - excellent flavor, super light, nice lemon zest Service: 8.5/10 - good job. They had one guy for all 8 or so tables, but did he did a good job covering them. The busser/assistant did a good job at keeping our waters and bread full, but he tries to carry too much, and it causes a big distraction (glasses clunking, nearly falling over, re-stacking)... sometimes two trips is better than one... He also says "of course" (pet peeve) when someone says "thank you." Perhaps I'm weird, but I find that terribly dismissive, and off-putting.

I always appreciate a good fast-casual style restaurant that offers an easy menu with good and healthy options, so I was looking forward to trying out The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in West Bloomfield! Upon first glance, the restaurant looks very chill, well kept up, and has tons of seating options. The staff was also very kind and continually offered to help with anything during our visit. However... I have two main qualms. One is that the price per item adds up very quickly here. You essentially have to factor in that you can probably get 1.5 meals out of a portion, because otherwise, you're paying close to $20 for a single meal of fast-casual food. Keep in mind that most other locations of this caliber in this area would easily have 2 meals worth of food in one entree at a lower price. The food itself was pretty ok - I'd say it met our expectations of what a standard mediterranean restaurant should be. That said... they definitely disappointed us with the wait time. We went in on a slow Sunday afternoon, and though there was only 1 other family in the restaurant, we ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes for our food. Ultimately... I'd probably recommend you try somewhere else -- The Great Greek Mediterranean is definitely casual, but nowhere near fast.

Manos is a Toledo institution…read more There are certain items on Mano's menu that I cannot find anywhere else, and frankly I don't want to. The baked feta... a 1/3 brick of feta broiled with red pepper flakes and olive oil is hands down my favorite way to eat this flavorful cheese. The fact that they use GOOD feta goes a long way to making this a delicious way to start a meal. Spread on bread or pita, it's divine. For me, the go-to entree is the patio platter. I get mine without rice, which means the plate is piled high with green beans, fresh tomatoes, green peppers and Manos' consistently absurdly strong white onions. The sliced sausage is strongly flavored and goes great with the veggies. I've had it more times than practically any other food item in the city of Toledo. All of Manos' vegetarian dishes are sure to please. I love his Spanakopita. Mushier than you may find elsewhere, but it's still delicious. To that point, most dishes feel homemade. Presentation changes based on the day of the week, as does preparation. Same as you'd find at home. The service is always friendly, and if you're lucky enough to get one of the old school waitresses, you're in for some stories if you engage them right. Super friendly even on busy nights, they aim to please. I've been eating at Manos for basically my entire food conscious life and while yes, I've had better greek food elsewhere, there are certain items on Mano's menu that I think are perfect. Combine them with a classic atmosphere, and a lovely patio in the summertime and you have one of my favorite, constant "go to" restaurants in the city of toledo. Not looking for a sit-down meal, and thirsty for some drinks? Head upstairs to the "Attic" bar. They offer the full Manos menu, plus a full bar and friendly service.
