Great food. Big portions for price too. Good variety on combo meals. I like this place the best for Mediterranean food in Toledo.

To be fair, I ordered from DoorDash. It's never the same as when you order directly or go into a restaurant. I ordered DoorDash to be delivered for a work luncheon. It was underwhelming to say the least. They sent no plates, no silverware, no napkins. Strike one. The rice was dry, the fries were soggy, and the chicken Shawarma itself had a weird texture. I am being generous with the three stars because it was a DoorDash experience and not fresh. Some of that was probably from the travel time. I would never order baklava from here again though There is zero excuse for flavorless, dry, tiny portions of baklava In a city that is teaming with great Middle Eastern food, you can't afford to be mediocre. read more

A friend and I ate from a Kabob It's truck at the Black Swamp Festival. We each ordered chicken gyro bowls. Absolutely delicious! Each bite was scrumptious. The hummus was the best that I've ever had. I bought that from their BG restaurant and my friend bought the marinade. She said that the marinade was something that she couldn't wait to use. How did we not know of this place and that there is a location at Franklin Park Mall?! Highly recommend. We'll be baaaaack. read more

We had the chicken meal with the rice, fatoosh, hummus, chicken pita bread with the onions and lettuce for lunch on a Monday. The chicken was dried out and ruined the lunch. We mentioned it to Sam and the other woman and they apologized, but never again. This should never happen, but it does. I was not impressed with this place at all. There was only one girl working, and you could tell she did not want to be there at all. She was very rude and unfriendly while taking our order and making our food. I ordered a falafel pita wrap. The falafels were very dry. I watched her grab them from the cooler and microwave them. So not fresh at all. There was not enough sauce on the pita to make up for the dryness and I wasn't paying extra to get more sauce. I couldn't even get a drink because she said their machines weren't working, so I had to go somewhere else to get a water. Just a very bad first impression of this place. I ordered a gyro combo for lunch, supposed to come with fries and a drink for $7.99 as posted by the huge sign on the menu board. I was charged $11.99 I did not add anything extra. My receipt said custom order. It was the owner that took my order and made my food. If the price was changed, I should've been told. The gyro was not edible more then half went to the garbage. The lettuce was old and brown, there was very little meat on it and it tasted rancid. Truth be told I didn't even try the fries because they smelled so bad, like old oil. So I paid $11.99 for a fountain drink. This place needs to go out of business. I will never go here again. read more

Finally had a full meal here and feel I can fairly review. The chicken kabobs are hit or miss. They are made well in advance and reheated in a microwave when you order, while the flavor is good this causes them to be dry at times. The garlic sauce, one of my favorite parts of a Lebanese meal, is different than anywhere else I've had it. But it's a good thing, it's got a bit more tang to it than normal and I like it. Hommous is average at best, it's not bad, just blander than I prefer. Rice is great, perfectly cooked every time and has added chicken flavor. The fattoush salad (first time I've tried it here) is among the worst I've ever had. Lettuce was old and limp. The dressing is what I really didn't care for, and it was drenched in the stuff. Pricing is very fair for a lunch menu. Service is spectacular and the reason I keep coming back. The man who I believe is he owner is wonderful to chat with and the rest of the staff is just as friendly. For a "fast food" type of meal this place is above average, for what I consider a good meal though there are enough hits and misses to make it an average to slightly above experience. read more

OK, here's an insider hint... OK, a long term customer. When you get a salad, tell them Gyro Sauce instead of salad dressing. I have been known to go to the mall just for that with my meal. I stopped at Kabob It over the weekend and went back today since the food was exceptional. This was worth driving over 35 miles for and the food tasted more of a fine restaurant quality than a standard food court. If you prefer authentic Mid Eastern Food, this is where to come. The food is homemade and very fresh. They offer combo meals which are healthy and priced very reasonable. Also, a great selection of vegetarian items. Can you tell, I was totally impressed. I was excited to try this place because I was craving Mediterranean food for a while and this is one of the better rated places in the mall. I was sorta bummed though. I love me some chicken shawarma, so I bought a shawarma pita but the only thing in it that tasted good were the pickles and marinated potatoes they reheated in the microwave. The chicken had no flavor nor did the tahini or whatever they spread in the pita. The hummus didn't have much flavor either. I don't usually give 5 stars to a fast food restaurant, especially located inside a mall. However the food was really exceptional and hit the spot for me. I ordered the gyro + fries to keep it simple and was delicious. If anything, the fries had a tad too much salt, but were really good too. The "wrap" part flopped open and was quite messy, so I ate it with a fork instead, but the gyro meat, veggies, and tzatziki sauce was wonderful. We found this place in the mall after a nearby restaurant we wanted to try was out of business. After walking the food court we decided on Kabot It. Everything was sumptuous. My wife ordered a sampler plate and I ordered the lentil soup. Each item was carefully prepared, well-seasoned and kept us feeling good. The young man at the counter was as helpful and pleasant as he could be. This was one of the few local eateries in the food court and is a real winner--a true gem. read more

Great food at a great price! The combo #1 is my favorite dish. The meal comes with a chicken kabob served over Mediterranean yellow rice, hommous with pita bread, and a healthy serving of fattoush salad. This is an excellent restaurant choice if you're looking for something healthy amongst all of the fast food spots in the mall. The quick, friendly service makes for a superb lunch choice to bring back to the office. To top it off, you are supporting a local Toledo small business which is great in this economy!
