Looks like it's got a a bad reputation for cleanliness but I don't know. My man ordered the hummus chicken noodle soup, and chicken schwarma. Im sure I spelled that wrong. He thought the food was blah. I nibbled on the hummus and pita bread for a few days then thru it out. Chicken noodle was 90% noodles. Had I been awake before he ordered it wouldn't have happened. I'm very hard to fill-up, but they manage to do it here. The large portion sizes is what ultimately keeps me coming back. Owner & management - please keep it up! Kind staff. Very accommodating. Treated like family while dining in. Newly remodeled dining area that's especially nice. The ONLY knock I have is a 7% fee for dining - which appears to be a new charge. Food is prepared on a paper plate and served on a plastic tray that you return when throwing away trash. The additional expense to eat in is not justifiable. There is also a 3% non-cash fee. Be prepared to spend an additional 10% menu price if you plan to dine in & pay with card. It came with rice and a salad. Quite a bit of food--had the lunch portion and couldn't imagine eating the dinner sized one--though the quality was less impressive than the quantity. The hummus was quite bland--smooth, but needed more lemon and garlic. The shawarma didn't have much flavor either, and was quite dry. Salad was good--fresh lettuce and vegetbles with a nice tangy dressing. Fried pita chips on top were limp, though, which is a first for me. With so many other good middle eastern restaurants in this town, there isn't much reason to return here.
