Zingo's is my family's favorite restaurant in Perrysburg. My relatives from out of town always request Zingo's when they visit because the food and service are outstanding. My family has been eating at Zingos for years and they always have fresh food, local items when possible and the quality has never waivered - always the best! One of my good friends loves this place and eats here often, so we came for lunch on one of my more recent visits. It has a pretty cool vibe to it, very modern and fresh, but I'm not always a big fan of the setup where you order at the counter, sit down and then wait. I guess it makes sense at fast food restaurants, but aside from that I think it makes me a little bit uncomfortable. But that's irrelevant, it's just a bit of information for anyone who experiences the same social anxieties as I do. I wouldn't say I was quite as satisfied as my friend, but I may have made an uninformed decision when I ordered. I had a regular gyro, but apparently a Zingo style (basically a gyro wrap) was the way to go. It was definitely sizable and I liked their cucumber sauce, but the meat seemed dry to me and it was pretty messy to eat. I believe that's why the Zingo style is a more popular choice for regulars. To put it bluntly, it wasn't one of the better gyros I've eaten in my lifetime. There's a chance I'll be back in the future, I wasn't really disappointed at all but I wasn't in love with it either. If I do, I'll definitely opt for Zingo style. read more

Been to some of the best Greek/middle eastern places in the region. Great menu and crazy in love w spinach pie sandwich. Not a fast food place So give time for lunch. Need more help and could be loosing some folks on prices but lunch special the other day w red lentil soup gave me a healthy /satisfied feeling. The food was of good quality, but I think that it's a little overpriced. I got a beef kabob pita with a side of hummus and paid over $10. The hummus was not flavorful enough, so I was very glad to have gotten the garlic sauce as well. One thing I have to say is: Best grape leaves I've ever had! Maybe I just don't know Middle Eastern food very well, but all the grape leaves I had before had a smell that I don't really like. I'm not a huge fan of cilantro or basil and I guess grape leaves smell similar. BUT the grape leaves at Zingo's were tender and very mild. And again they have very good quality meats. Overall, I liked Zingo's. Their ingredients are fresh and their shop is clean. I just don't know if this food is the I-had-a-long-day-and-all-I-could-think-about-is-eating-this kind of food. Love love this place! Food is always fresh and amazing. Service is always given with a smile. If you are taking someone for an hour lunch - skip the fast food chains. This is the place. These gyros are like burritos with a crispy shell. SO good! The salads are sooo good, with good quality ingredients. They also have yummy cupcakes and cookies. Parking can sometimes be a pain and a couple employees are a bit rude but the others are super nice. The seating is nice too. read more

Homemade humus and baked pita chips were great, junk salad was awesome and huge with deliciously seasoned chicken and gyro meat, red lentil soup was delicious! Every time I visit Zingos I get the excellent junk salad and grape leaves. The grape leaves are the best in Toledo, in my opinion. On my last couple of visits I changed it up and ordered the falafel sandwich, Zingo style. So delicious! I can't get enough of this place. Zingo's is a great Mediterranian and independently owned eatery in downtown Perrysburg. Every time I visit the burg I have to make a stop at Zingo's to get their Original Gyro Zingo style and an order of hummus to go. Their Original Gyro is full of flavor and when you get it Zingo style the pits is grilled so it's crispy which is great. The hummus is homemade and has a ton of flavor as do their homemade pita chips. All in all great place to eat and maybe next time I will try something new but that Original Gyro is so darn good. read more

My first meal at Zingo's was so delicious that it prompted me to finally dredge up my first review on Yelp. My husband and I ordered the pricier Mediterranean Junk Salad, and were pleased that staff were not the least bit offended when we suggested that we split the meal - they even offered us extra plates with a smile.The salad was indeed quite large, and we were able to share the meal comfortably. All of the ingredients appeared to be very fresh, and were full of flavor; sparkling water made for a delightful pairing. My guy is a notorious meat and potatoes man, and so I am thrilled that we have discovered a salad that he enjoys. I have never seen him so delighted to lap up chickpeas, radishes, and ruby red peppers. The interior was earthy, quaint, and eclectic, and they appeared to have a decent amount of seating in and outside of the building. The place was hoppin' for a Saturday afternoon around 2 PM; I imagine that seating in colder months is limited. Colder months or warm, I can't wait to visit Zingo's again. read more

We had our dog with us and were looking for a place to eat. Zingo's was perfect. We ordered our food online from our hotel (we had planned to take it back there to eat) and then discovered that we could buy wine and beer inside, and then eat/drink with our dog at the outdoor tables. We had the appetizer sampler and gyros. Everything was delicious, and the restaurant is close to a waterfront park where you can walk with the dog before/after dinner. One note...the tables are all along a busy sidewalk, so make sure your dog is friendly and mannerly (like ours is!). read more

This is probably my favorite restaurant in the Toledo area. I have tried most things on the menu and love everything. They have some of the best soup, with a different soup of the day everyday. The creamy chicken artichoke soup is probably the best thing I've ever had. All the sandwiches (I recommend Zingo style) are fantastic, the salads are phenomenal, and the hummus is some of the best. On top of this, they have an awesome choice of different juices and smoothies (go for the PB&J) made right in front of you, as well as some great desserts! read more

Zingo's did not disappoint! We ordered a rather large order for our office retreat and we wanted the food by noon. The workers were so nice, they let us know that there was a big order at noon they had to fill and instead of pushing our order back, they brought it to use early! Awesome service! I got the Chicken Tawook sandwich with a side of Fatoosh. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the Fatoosh was the perfect amount of lemony goodness! :) Sometimes there can be too much on the Fatoosh, but this was absolutely perfect. read more

We stopped here after seeing Yelp reviews on our way from Philly to Chicago, and so happy we did. It has a lovely, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home! We ordered several dishes, including the chicken wrap special with a side of grape leaves, green smoothie, and Greek salad- and all both were delicious. Can't forget to mention the amazing homemade baklava- can't say I've had one better than the one I had at Zingo's. Not overly sweet, and so flavorful with cinnamon. The food is ok here, exposed brick walls and wood floors always get me going, but if you are looking for the most awkward interaction with a server, this is the place to go. If you want to feel like you are doing something wrong, or you are inconveniencing the staff, you found the right place. They are professional at staring, lack of emotion, and cringeworthy exchange between two humans. I love eating here, its a great environment and the food is good. They have a special where you get a side like hummos and a main like a gyro. You have to tell them the special or you may not get it though if the person isn't trained.... I usually get the hommos and a gyro and find it is the best thing they have of the food I have tried this far. People tend to be a little dressier or stylish and it adds a nice feel. read more

Yoooo let me tell you what is up! It's zingos and it's expletive good. Solid balance between salads sandwiches and a sides. Mediterranean food has a special place in my heart, augmented furthermore by zingos special sandwich. Complement it with a tabouli salad (sizeable, btw!) with fresh parsley and you have a phenomenal meal. The zingos special sandwich is filling by itself, with tons of ground beef elevated by an amazing spice blend. Definitely not spicy, just pleasantly spiced. Pita chips are off the chart. Gimme some OF THAT. No 5 stars because some of the tables were still idling dirty-but food is amazing and appropriately priced ($7-$12). And perfect on your waistline. ;) read more

Great lunch spot. I had the chicken tawooki sandwich zingo style and it was pretty good. The rolled grilled pita was interesting and very good! However, the sandwich could have used a lot more garlic sauce. I felt it was a little lacking. But other than that, it was a tasty sandwich. The homemade baklava was pretty good too! read more

I was just visiting and followed the Yelp recommendations. I found the food absolutely fantastic. It was clearly Mediterranean but with an original twist. The food is very fresh and unprocessed. I had the Mediterranean Junk Salad. It had an assortment of ingredients like falafel chips, pita chips, grilled chicken, Greek olives, feta cheese, radishes, onions, lettuce, tomato, etc with a humous based dressing. The dish was large and kept me busy. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. The service was swift, upbeat and attentive.
