A scammer. He told us one of his employees moved to Florida so he had to pass us on to his "trusted friend", Jesus. Jesus ended up being a total scammer and constantly sucking us dry. Anything that could go wrong with a pool went wrong: water needed to be drained, new motor and pump, new filters, new pool light. Meanwhile he never cleaned our filters properly and would take off for weeks at a time leaving our pool absolutely filthy. He charged us $2,500 for a new pump and never gave me the receipt after asking at least 10 times. He also never gave me the warranty information. Meanwhile a new pump same item should've only cost $1,200 max. He sold us a new pool light which cost me $1,400 and never installed it! He is a scammer. We first had Kevin and he did a good job, BUT Kevin was too busy and needed to pass the work to someone he recommended "Jesus" - see Get Wet pools. Jesus and Kevin are scammers. Kevin passed us to Jesus and Jesus did a horrible job. He didn't clean our pool, it turned to algae and we had to spend a ton of money with a new pool service to get it cleaned. When we were with Jesus, our pump went out and he talked us into buying a new pump. He told us the cost is $2500 and his time is a few hundred to install, and we trusted him, come to find out the pump the was $1800. Later I realized they never cleaned the filter. Our light went out, we paid them $1400 to replace the lights. He never purchased the lights. He admitted in text he would refund us everything, and he eventually blocked our numbers and ignored us. If you don't trust me. Get their full legal name, business name, address, because you will need it to easily file a small claims against them. Zillah, Kevin and James have been great! Solid communication! James is my weekly tech, and has done phenomenal job! Originally hired to work on my pump, which had a leak! Bid the job, which Zillah came in at a fair price. Fixed the lines to the pump the next day and the pump is working the best it ever has. Brought Zillah on for weekly services, which was meh at the beginning to be honest. My first tech wasn't that good. He'd half ass and rush through. Talking with Kevin, he was very understanding and responsive. A few times of sub par service, also not the only one complaining on the route, Kevin removed this tech and had James pick up my pool. Kevin stayed on top of his business, was responsive to my issues, and rectified the problem. He also credited me on future services. James has been consistent, thorough, hard working, and overall a nice chill guy! Recently, I had a duck nest in my yard, and have babies. With all the ducks, James has been really understanding and working extra hard to keep my pool clean. He's gentle around the ducks and really helpful. Unfortunately the true Kevin showed a year later. We have since fired him. We bought a new vacuum through him in June 2022 for a rental property that he has been servicing. He texted us the Leslie's receipt in June as proof of purchase. Fast forward to now, 10 months later. We just visited the rental property and noticed the vacuum was our old one. When we asked him what happened to the $500 vacuum we paid for in June. He said, "Been trying to get a hold of Junior , old tech that use to do that pool around that time that we sold you the cleaner & no answer. He got fired for stealing jobs from the company etc so I wouldn't doubt it if he has anything to do with that. I'll see if I can find out what happened but one thing is for sure - I'm pretty honest at what I do. If I have to buy a new one myself , I'll do so & put it in tomorrow for you guys. About a year ago, hired him and I'll give Kevin his due, he can talk a good game. Unfortunately, that's all he's good at, is talking a good game. His guy would be a consistent no show, would come up with lame excuses. I had to tell him not to bother coming after the 3rd no show. You would think that if he cared about customers, he would attempt to correct the situation, but he doesn't care. Long and short of it, Kevin knows that due to his low prices, he'll have a constant influx of customers and doesn't care if he loses any. Personally, I would recommend going with someone else, you may pay more, but you'll be saving yourself a hassle and a headache. Edit: In response to Kevin, I take being called a liar as a serious accusation. I was being succinct and to the point. While I don't understand my dog's breed being relevant, what is relevant is the fact that due to the no shows, I would have to leave him in doors all day. I'm not cool with that, it's not fair to my dog that due to your pool guy being unable to stick to a schedule, my dog has to be cooped up indoors multiple days a week. You say "High volume," I say excuses for being unorganized in keeping a schedule. I understand it happening once, not multiple times in consecutive weeks. As for your second accusation of calling me a liar, I find it extremely disturbing and unprofessional to post both of our names and street names. I'm just hoping that you're not doing it to signal some form a retaliation for writing our candid and honest experience with you. You like to no show and make excuses, yet, we're the problem? Our pool pump stopped working Thursday last week. I reached out to multiple companies & I was surprised on how fast Kevin responded to my request. He was upfront & honest about how busy they were so that he wasn't going to have availability to stop by until Monday this week (today). I told him I'd keep his contact just in case it didn't work out with other companies as I needed it done ASAP to avoid a green pool. Boy was that the best decision I made! After paying numerous service calls & having multiple companies tell me I needed a new pump, I finally decided to call Kevin for one last opinion as he offers FREE ESTIMATES. He instantly said: "Pump turns on, it's just not priming. Why did they say you need a new pump? Lines are probably just clogged. I can blow the lines out for you for $125.00 or you can get a new but unnecessary pump." I rather spend $125.00 than $1800.00 so I told him go for it. As soon as he opened the plumbing on the pump, the problem was there!! It was a darn pine cone that was blocking the water flow the whole time!!! I'm so mad that other companies were too lazy to even check that but tried selling me a whole new pump. A whole new pump would of still not solved the issues! I'm mad but super grateful with Kevin & his team lol best part is he didn't even charge me the full $125.00 as he didn't have to blow the lines out, he just said to keep him in mind for any issues in the future! If I called Kevin to check something he would say okay no problem, then when his pool guy would come I would ask him if he talked to Kevin and he says no english. My pool was making a terrible humming noise, sent a video, he said he would be there to check it out and never showed up, I called him again and he just gave me a word salad about what was wrong and said he was on his way over. Response: I don't like being called a liar. I always called you first as I couldn't communicate with Victor. You do "word salad" talk to make customers think you know what you are talking about. You did take $160 as I had given Victor a check for the first month and he couldn't find it so I wrote you another check. A couple months later Victor found the check for the first month, which I had paid with a new check, and you cashed it never giving me credit for the additional $160. You or your guy NEVER diagnosed anything, he tightened the bolt where it was leaking and that was it, which by the way he left and it was still leaking. You were suppose to come out and check it out and never showed up twice! 1. I'm not the one who can't afford $160. 2. Beware of this service, I learned the hard way that Zillah's apparently serves as a front for other pool cleaners outside of their area. When Jesus arrived to give me an estimate on weekly pool service, I assumed he was from Zillah's, which was highly rated. Well, it turns out he was just representing his father, who has not done a very good job (my pool is now green) and who was a no-show for six separate weeks during the past six months. Meanwhile, Zillah's Pool was charging my credit card every month. Jesus agreed to credit my card for the missed weeks but that never happened. I finally fired his father last night and then, lo and behold, got a call from the real Zillah's disavowing all knowledge of anything. This has been a very upsetting experience for an old woman about to turn 80. Beware. In response to Kevin's message, I would like to point out that Jesus and Kevin are mentioned together in a review by Keith K. Does Jesus work for Keven? I still don't know.
