I came in on a Sunday afternoon needing a new suit for my med school interview I had on Tuesday morning. I was skeptical that they would be able to help me on such short notice, but Ortiz is pure magic and made it happen. He sized me up perfectly on the spot and gave me a few choices of what he thought would be best for the occasion. After picking my suit, he quickly made a few measurements and told me everything would be ready by 3:00 the next day. Sure enough when I showed up the next day everything was perfectly tailored and ready to wear. If you need a new suit that looks great quick, Ortiz is the man to see! When you're here, tell Moosa that you heard it from Stan's Wedding group. He will take good care of you, I guarantee it. After explaining to them about my terrible experience at Carducci's, Moosa proceeded with care and precision. He measured all of us up, had us try what was available (the whole thing, not just a jacket) and after getting an idea on what we like, Moosa custom orders us the tux and even go the distance of custom fitting it on all of us. We left happy and didn't even have to put a down payment down on the first visit. Moosa knows how to do business right and understands what it takes to take care of his customers. More importantly, he understands and respects that it's my wedding and ultimately, it should be what I want on the big day. Keep up your contact with Moosa and he will always try to be available by phone. He even updates me when my groomsmen go in on their own to get fitted etc. All in all, great place with great staff. I definitely recommend everyone to drop in when they have an occasion coming up. Location is a bit weird, being inside a mall, but I think of it as a plus especially if the ladies want to branch off from the fitting to go do a little shopping on their own. No complaints here! Worthwhile experience with a lasting relationship with the store and owner. I may not go anywhere else ever, and just have Moosa do all my fittings. Moosa did an excellent job in lengthening the cuffs of my suit jacket. I foolishly originally brought them to a dry cleaner spot which advertised suit alterations (they actually they it to another shop), the lady had measured them and suits were altered to be too short. Thankfully, Moosa was able to work with what little fabric was left and lengthened them to the proper size. Honestly, I was pretty impressed by the work. read more

Was referred by my barber, i came in looking for a suit for my wedding, as soon as you step in everyone is very welcoming and attentive, i told them what i was looking for and the fit i was looking for, few weeks later i went back to try on and make a few alterations, the final product was exactly what i asked for. Zila's is a great store! Every employee is amazingly helpful and went above and beyond to help us find slim cut brown suits and ivory shirts. Our situation was particularly difficult as most places do not carry chocolate brown 60's cut suits and we needed a multitude of different styles as we did not want a uniform look. Mussa and Ortiz bent over backwards during a number of last minute emergencies to make sure everything was perfect on our wedding day. Just to make sure everything worked out they allowed us to take a few accessories and return the items that didn't work. Mussa also checked up on us just to make sure all went well. If they don't have what you are looking for in store they will source it for you. The customer service was 5 star but at an inexpensive cost! read more

This place is fairly small and not typical of a tuxedo rental however, the customer service is outstanding!!! Both the young and older man (sorry forgot the names) helped us on different occasions and they were patient and extremely helpful in explaining about tuxedo fittings - how they should fit, the quality, and how to get the best out of what you're paying for. We ended up buying black tuxedos for both my nephews who have several dances to go for the next couple of years. They told us about tailoring it in a way to make the best use of these suits and not rent them for years to come. Even typical high school boys who tend not to care about service, both were so happy on the way they were treated. They learned a lot about suits that day. Thank you so much!!!! My son is attending his senior prom. We priced out rentals at other places but thought we would see what Zilas could offer for us to purchase. The price was fantastic and the care that they show for tailoring was beyond my expectations! My son is a difficult fit (he is a wrestler so he has huge shoulders, neck and legs but a slim torso). The night before my sons christening we were in a panic at 8pm at the Montclair mall attempting to find white pants (accident with the original outfit) and they not only had a white outfit.. The people that work here are helpful and quite attentive to detail. Came here for my friends wedding to get fitted and all the groomsmen immediately approved. We had 8 total groomsmen and we were all fitted and the suits were ready within two weeks ready to go. For such short notice they were able to deliver and some. When I moved from California to Las Vegas, I still used mo because he always gave me the best price and hooked it up with any special request I needed! My fiancé initially made an appointment with another tux rental shop, but when we stopped into Zilas, Moosa and Abdul were friendly and eager to provide assistance for our upcoming wedding. They were very professional and kind during the whole fitting process. Ortiz's customer service was also excellent and worth mentioning. When we had our wedding day, the groomsmen realized they were missing the black ties that were originally ordered, a mistake through the rental vendor.
