Just moved to Boston, spent the last month trying every pizza place near Watertown. This has by far the best pizza so far, closest I've seen to NY style. Good cheese/sauce ratio,.crispy all over (even after the car ride home). Tastes just like my favorite spot back in California. 4.9/5, could use a tad more cheese, or a slight temperature increase, cheese had just started to break (get greasy). read more

Wow-- a jersey boy here who thinks he knows a thing or two about good pizza-- I was really skeptical about this place. I could only find my subjective opinion of "good pizza" from the north end. A somewhat hybrid between NY style and Neapolitan, the margherita has a balanced sauce to cheese ratio, a kiss of EVOO, hint of basil, and a sexy crispy crunch in each bite. Just wow. I've walked by this spot in oak square all the time but hadn't tried it until today for some reason. I should have tried it sooner. I got two slices of pizza (the BRB and the chicken bacon ranch) and they were both amazing; crispy, thinner-style pizza with amazing topping combos. It was also pretty cheap for big slices. Also, the owner is super nice and struck up a conversation with me while I was waiting for the slices to come out of the oven. Definitely making this my new go-to spot. read more

Great new spot! Not your average pizza place - they have all the standard go-to pizzas but also a bunch of more creative ones if you're craving something different. Also lots of great options if you're not in the mood for pizza such as bowls and salads as well as wings (which I haven't tried yet but definitely will next time). I got the Asian Sesame salad which was great. I added on some additional toppings and was pleased to see they actually made it onto my salad - so often I feel like that gets ignored when I order online from other places. My daughter who is always a challenge at meal time loved the cheese pizza so much she actually had two slices and my husband really enjoyed his Hawaiian pizza. I was craving buffalo sauce and was really hoping for at least decent buffalo chicken due to the reviews. I ordered a caesar salad and a double boneless buffalo chicken tenders with blue cheese. The order came quickly and was well packaged to prevent spills. Caesar salad and blue cheese were tasty. However, I was really disappointed with the buffalo tenders, which were overcooked and tasteless with hardly any buffalo sauce. Sadly the chicken was definitely a waste of $20. read more

You know a place is good when they have the pepperoni that curls up on the edges. The pizza is consistently delicious, and their buffalo wings are tasty and not a weird slimy texture like some other places (their blue cheese is good too). My only complaint is that they close early compared to other pizza places in the area. That being said, I'm so happy to have Ziggy's in the neighborhood. read more
