Removing the old top I tore the drywall paper. It was a stupid, careless mistake on my part. I took the attached piece of drywall paper colored to the wall paint I wanted to match to the Paint Department at Home Depot. Enter Anne who was working that evening. She took my sample and perfectly matched a new gallon of paint to my 30 year old walls!! I thought I would need to repaint this entire section but all I did was touch up where I had patched. I have a Home Depot credit card.h I had this card for 15+ years.i went online and saw where they had charged me a $29.00 late fee. I pride my11 on myself in paying everything on time. Some foreign person waswas speaking to me, who was rude and barely speaking English. He tried to over talk me about my bill, which was only $275.00. I had already sent 130. I asked for the late fee to be removed. He said he could not do it. Asked for someone who spoke better English. They were no help, I went on and paid the -balance. Told them I was done with Home Depot, they have no loyalty to their customers, and that i do not need them need them. Will be shredding the card, and if they want, within 6 months, close the card. I will pay cash. DONE WITH HOME DEPOT!!!!

My purchase was small, but what made the difference for me was the kind gentleman at the front register. Very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. Most of all, he was kind and caring and made me feel valued while helping me and after ringing up my purchase. Although this is larger than your run-of-the-mill mom-and-pop stores of old, it had the warmth of one, which meant a lot. I'll definitely be back.

Pulled the available ticket and proceed to the register. The man at the register says he will have to check if they have it in stock. To my surprise when he came back, he did not have a fan and said the only one they had was the one that we didn't want! He offered to call another store located about 10 miles away but we didn't feel like driving all that way so we asked him if you could order the one we wanted. He said he could not order it because it was not a specialty item. I'm not sure what that means but we left without our fan. I don't think you should have pieces of paper able to pull a ticket for a product if you don't have it in stock and also why can't you order me a fan? Aren't I a customer? As we left the store I noticed the parking lot full of garbage where a different people had emptied their cars out. There was glass trash, McDonald's wrappers just everywhere in the parking lot. It made the whole place look very junked up. Needless to say we be buying our industrial size fan on Amazon and people wonder why people shop on Amazon? Can't get anything you want in the stores.

Ken, her husband, could not have been nicer. He got us water, he gave us chocolate and homemade cookies. He had something come up and the owner introduced herself to us. She was nice and got our information filled out on a form. A few weeks later my friend said she got a nice email from the owner and a quote for one of the cabinet pulls she liked the most. I immediately checked my email and I never received anything. I even scoured my junk folder. I thought that was weird but chalked it up to just being missed. Fast forward to today. I went in there now that my house is about 6 weeks from completion to see about ordering my cabinet pulls because no one had reached back out to me. The owner unlocked the door to let me in and as soon as I walked in, I smelled cigarette smoke. It's pretty obvious that someone had been smoking either in their office or put a back door that lead to the show room. Disgusting! I looked at two different brands of cabinet pulls to compare prices. When I was in in the Spring, Ken had told me that one of the brands was much cheaper and a good alternative if I was price conscious which I am because I need to buy 63 cabinet pulls. But for some reason the owner quoted me a price that was more expensive than the top end brand. What?! So I started looking around about to ask more questions and she told me, and I quote, "You're free to look around and take pictures but I have stuff to do." Excuse me? I was the only customer in the shop in the middle of the day on a Wednesday and she didn't have time for me? I cannot believe a business owner would treat a customer this way. I am telling absolutely everyone I know about what a terrible experience I have. I hate to assume why she treated me that way but I don't think the color of my skin helped. Too bad, I just bought the exact same pulls on Wayfair for $2 cheaper per pull. She lost that business when I was trying to support local. Her loss. Don't shop here!

    The staff is very friendly…read more My second interaction with this vendor involved purchasing for $206 four bronze handles which needed matching hinges. The owner promised to find hinges and call me with news. Though she has twice claimed to have done this, I never got a call, and therefore, no hinges were ordered. The only information I belatedly received was a dimension of the hinge which was larger that the maximum size I had specified on the day the handles were originally ordered. No color, no shape, no info. When I stopped by to see what was wrong, I was told the owner would be researching the hinges soon and shown some hinges that did not match and were too big. I was told there was a manufacturer that could sell me 4 hinges for approximately $400, but it would involve several weeks turnaround AFTER already waiting several weeks for the handles. It seems this should have been discussed at the time of the original order. Cancelling the order was not an option, according to the staff, as the order had already been shipped. The order arrived a week after I asked to cancel it. Fed Ex is refunding the money to the original manufacturer (but not to me!). The miscommunication/non-communication with the unexplained delay caused me to go out and find hinges myself, at which time I found reasonably priced matching handles that will do nicely. I explained how I felt to the staff, and the owner followed me out to the parking lot, which was a little bit creepy. The selection of handles is very nice. I don't have a sense for the price/value, but it is certainly a premium price for an elite clientele. I went away feeling like I don't fit into their business model. They have chocolate in the entry room.
