Delicious poke! Friendly service and cute no frills spot. Fresh fish and lots of topping choices. We both really enjoyed our bowls!

AMAZING !!!!! Absolute best place for sushi poke bowls. It's like a detailed salad bar but with sushi toppings. They have all the different types of fish, and in my opinion they are all equally good. You are able to pick 2 or 3 proteins and like 4 or 5 toppings. This place is a MUST try for anyone who hasn't!!

The poke here was fresh and I enjoyed the unique options like crawfish, but overall it tasted good, not great. The portion sizes were fine, and they charge extra after only a couple toppings.

I had a sudden crave for poke bowl and decided to check out ZenFish, seen it a few times but never got a chance to visit. This location is right by Southpoint Mall, lots of food options minutes away from this place, but it's worth checking out! I ordered online for takeout and was in an out in less than 30 seconds, seamless experience. Got a regular poke bowl with ahi tuna, salmon and crawfish with miso ginger and house dressing. Miso ginger is my all time fave and it goes really well with almost anything, and if this is your first time trying poke I recommend trying it first. Overall I enjoyed my bowl! I just wish protein scoops were a bit bigger, if you're hungry definitely go for large bowl as opposed to a regular one. But like I said, it's delicious and topping selection is very very nice, lots to choose from. I'll be back for sure!

Zenfish is one of those places you love to go because not only is the food fresh and flavors amazing but the staff is always so nice and welcoming. I always get a large salad base with krab and shrimp with pickled dikon, carrots, corn and pickled onion. Plus I get a ton of their sriracha sauce on top and it is sooooo dang good!!!

I am so happy to share that Zenfish has bottled two of their most popular sauces: a Vegan and Gluten-Free , EEL sauce and HOUSE sauce Originally created for their poke bowls, these sauces are perfect for drizzling, marinating, dipping and glazing for chicken, beef, fish, dumplings or even a bowl of rice! 5% of profits from each bottle will be donated to nonprofits that help protect human rights & the environment You can get your's at any one of the stores or on their website & they can ship it to you too! I picked up two bottles and a large poke bowl to go. I love that you can customize your bowl with grains, proteins, fresh toppings, house made sauces and more. Create your own poke combinations of flavors and enjoy!

Second time at this location of Zenfish. Great choice of French proteins, greens, rice, or noodles for the base, and solid choices for extras. I don't think I've ever made the same choices twice. The customer service is very patient, explaining each ingredient if the patron doesn't know an item. I'm a sucker for salmon and tuna, and their pickled onions were so very tasty. But most of the flavors blended nicely into an explosion of fresh sea wind in your mouth. Very satisfying! They also do a great job of helping you separate your trash, as good stewards of the earth. I'll certainly be back.

Food portion is perfect and Service is quick. Multiple seating options available. My favorite part about Zenfish is they mix all the protein and veggies together in a bowl and then place on top of the base.

As with their other two locations, I only have good things to say about ZenFish 3! They have the best poke in the area, hands down, and their food has been consistently good every time I visit, and this location was no exception. I love Zenfish because they go the extra mile and really feel like a part of our local community. From friendliest employees to compostable bowls and utensils to collaboration with other small businesses, what's not to love?! This South Durham location is right across from Southpoint Mall and between The Mad Popper (delicious gourmet popcorn) and Milk Lab (for all your boba and rolled ice cream needs) so you can really be in a foodie heaven here! They also have several tables outside! If you've never been to Zenfish or had poke (and eat seafood), I highly suggest getting spicy tuna (my other recommendations are house tuna, salmon, and ahi tuna). The combination of spicy house sauce and truffle ponzu sauce is something you NEED to try! They also have vegetarian, gluten-free, and keto options and online ordering (yes, everything you would want from a restaurant). Cannot recommend Zenfish highly enough!

I was nervous trying this spot because I didn't know what to expect. The inside is super cute and clean. I was the only customer there and the server was extremely patient with me. I built my own bowl. I had white rice, shrimp, spicy tuna and other goodies! It was so good! I enjoyed every bite. I'll be back soon

However, we were utterly disappointed with our food there. The bao buns had a tender pork in it but the only sauce it included was hoisin which made it too salty. The Korean fried chicken in the 'Spicy' flavor was flavorless. The sauce was extremely bland alongside the chicken meat inside. Don't let the red bright color deceive you, we kept wondering when the 'spice' would kick it (it never did!). We each got a curry udon and added chicken to it. As frequent curry eaters, we wanted the Asian flavors we enjoy however, this udon was bland as well. The chicken we asked to be added felt like it was just chopped and put over the udon with no actual flavor integration into the dish. We left this place feeling like it was a waste of our money. Given their higher prices, I would've expected something A LOT better with some real Asian flavors.

Parking couldn't have been easier. We found a space right out front in the lot off 9th Street and walked straight in. It was a quiet Thursday afternoon, so we were seated immediately. The dining room has an elegant, relaxed feel, and with only a few other diners it made for a peaceful lunch. Lunch for two came to about $80 plus tax and tip, making this one of the more upscale lunches we've had recently. We ordered: * Crispy Brussels Sprouts * Shrimp Dumplings (6) * Mongolian Beef * Grilled Lemongrass Hanger Steak Salad * Unsweetened iced tea The Food The Crispy Brussels Sprouts were a great start. They were crisp on the outside without being overcooked, and the mint, peanuts, and pickled onions added both texture and freshness. It was also a large enough portion for leftovers. The Shrimp Dumplings were excellent. The flavor was outstanding, and the Thai chili oil, garlic, scallions, and sesame worked beautifully together. My only criticism was the portion size. At six small dumplings, they felt a little pricey for what you receive. The Mongolian Beef was probably the best value of the meal. The beef had a nice sear while remaining tender inside, and the portion was generous enough that we had leftovers for another meal. It had a nice overall flavor as well. The Grilled Lemongrass Hanger Steak Salad was good, but not quite at the same level. The steak had good flavor, but the cut itself was somewhat chewy. The accompanying rice was simply prepared and didn't add much to the dish. The flavors were enjoyable, although slightly sweeter than my wife prefers. Service Service was excellent. Our server took the time to walk us through each dish, explaining ingredients, spice levels, and preparation so we could choose items that fit our tastes. We especially appreciated her knowledge of the menu and her attentiveness throughout the meal, my iced tea was never empty. Overall Juju offers an attractive setting, excellent service, and several very well-executed dishes. Our biggest challenge was simply that much of the lunch menu leans toward spicier offerings than we typically enjoy. While we probably wouldn't return specifically for lunch, the dinner menu appears to offer a much wider variety of choices that fit our tastes. We'll likely be back to give dinner a try.

When you arrive parking can be a bit tricky in this area as you'll need to find parking on the street or in a nearby parking lot. When you arrive the entrance can be a bit hard to find as it's tucked away down a cobblestone road. Look for the "m" logo outside of the door of the restaurant. You'll check in with the host when you arrive, and for this trip we opted to sit at the bar. When you walk into M sushi you'll feel like you've stepped into an underground, relaxed hangout for sushi. To start I ordered the Mizuwari (Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky, elderfower liqueur, and tonic) which was perfectly balanced and a great way to start the meal. Following that the omakase service started with miso soup which was hot and fresh, followed by the different pieces of sushi. There was a variety from blue fin tuna, to sea bream, to Norwegian Sea trout. My favorite was a tie between the seared salmon belly and toro blue fin. We also ordered a bottle of Born Gold Junmai Daliginjo (Rich, smooth, fruit and grain forward) which paired excellently with the meal. This was a fun experience as it was my first time trying Omakase and looking forward to my next trip to M Sushi.

We started off with their sodas made in-house, one being green apple and the other being grapefruit. They were okay. The grapefruit one kind of tasted like apple cider vinegar. We tried them because a soda was $6 and there were no free refills. I find that a strange decision but this could be personal preference. We got a mixture of the small plates and rolls including the nigiri (delightful!), tuna crispy rice (my 2nd favorite), dumplings, bao bun (one cut in half), the rainbow roll, and the unagi roll. While I thought the nigiri and tuna crispy rice were amazing - both tasted fresh - overall, the food was just fine. I think our experience could just be based on pure preference. I found the sushi to be good but not the best I have ever had as some other Yelpers have experienced.
