My mom had Tracy, who was absolutely wonderful. She gave my mom such a relaxing experience and noticed how tired she was. Since my mom has rheumatoid arthritis, Tracy gave her a gentle but firm massage that ended up being the highlight of her visit. My niece had Sydney, who was so kind and made her feel completely comfortable. She chatted with her throughout the appointment and encouraged her to speak up if she wanted anything adjusted. In the end, my niece's nails turned out exactly how she had imagined, the perfect mermaid color! I had Daniella, who was incredibly meticulous with both my gel manicure and pedicure. She paid great attention to every detail, and I couldn't be happier with the results. What really impressed me was how well the team coordinated everything. Since my gel manicure and pedicure took the longest, they timed my manicure perfectly so it was done while my mom and niece's pedicures were drying. After the first visit, I noticed my nails were unusually weak and a visible 'ridge' began to grow out, but I didn't immediately understand why. I only got regular nail polish, no gel, with My. During my second visit, I paid closer attention to her method and realized the issue. Despite the technician's 20 years of experience, her filing is very aggressive. She over-files the natural nail bed using both a manual and an electric file, and uses excessive amounts of acetone. Just a few days after the appointment, a dark pink ring started to form, showing exactly the difference between the healthy nail growing in and the weakened one. It will take months for my nails to recover from this thinning; they are paper-thin, bending easily, and peeling in layers. I was treated very nicely during my visit, so it pains me that I won't ever be able to come back. I suggest being very cautious if you value your natural nail health.

It had gotten to the point where I'd look down at my feet and was repelled. Several weeks ago, as per usual, I tried to give myself a pedicure and cut my toenails--in the process, threw out my low back. Sad realization: I can no longer reach my own freaking feet. My only consolation is my friends have the same issue and I'm not alone in this. They referred me to this salon. Off I went. I got such excellent customer service, warm and welcoming. Btw., I did not make an appointment. I walked in and within five minutes, had someone come over and start working on me. They ended with a strong calf massage, so strong that I had to ask her to be more gentle :-) And the most insanely ridiculous delicious hot towel draped over my calf. Ohhhhh. She rushed through the entire polish job and waited until AFTER base, two coats, and top coat to bring me a fan.... a weak little dollar store toy fan because apparently no one uses regular polish anymore so all the polish and fans (basically anything that's not gel) is from 7 years ago or something. The biggest SCAMMY activity is that when I went to pay, she said the service was $25. I asked her if it was for the basic manicure with no tip yet. She said yes. I showed her the website with the price being $20 and she said that it was to "make up for the rising cost of rent". I once again pointed out that in real time, the salon owned website said $20. She said she couldn't do anything because the owner wasn't there. Honestly, I should file something with the bank because I want them to investigate with my time stamped screen shots of their website prices after they charged me an itemized price for a service that is not what they advertise. As for the QUALITY of their work? LOOK AT THE BUBBLES. Their nail technician looked at the bubbles in my nails and thought "yup, that looks right". The dents are on me because I was trying to get my card (since I brought $25 cash for the service and tip, but that was for their fake online $20 price) and the girl watched me struggle with my wallet after I explained to her why I only had cash and wasn't ready to use my wet nails to get my card out of my cardholder. The different drill bits that Tracy used are to exfoliate the cuticles and around your nail bed, so minimal cutting/trimming is done. I made another appointment through their website for 07.13.26, again with Tracy, to have my gel manicure and gel pedicure removed and this time chose the combination classic manicure and classic pedicure.
