Most of their staff is great and the two times I've gone the service has been really good and the pedicure done well. Other things I appreciate are their massage chairs which actually give a decent massage, and the discount for cash payment (only five percent but it's something)! Walked out and inspected my nails in my car and they looked horrible. For paying extra $30 on top of the gel price I thought the quality would at least be decent. I have been coming to this nail shop for over 5 yrs but I plan to never come to this place again. Last time I was there a lady name Tammy did my nails. She grabbed my pinky nail aggressively and filed my nail so hard she made my finger bleed. After work was done I still tipped her well! I regret it.. The next day i had to come back and fix my thumb nail. A different person assisted me. Her name was Connie. She had attitude but fixed my nail with no cost but seemed irritated that she had to fix it and not Tammy. Today i called for an appt to have a fill and first I was told yes to come in from one person than Connie took over the call and said she was busy come another day.. this is the same lady who i had an appt with months ago, got there and made me wait than asked if i could come back the next day.. i referred 5 customers there but after this experience i hope they choose otherwise. Staff was nice and friendly. Was able to call 30 mins before and they were able to do my gel mani and pedi. But I got my nails done Thursday afternoon and by Sunday morning it already started lifting. At the time of my appointment, I could tell they felt rushed and didn't take their time to do a good job. I had to leave before they finished what I came for, leaving very disappointed, it took them two hours to do the French tip and I explained all the imperfections, asked for my designs and finally asked if they could just put a color instead to make it look better, once they removed the French tip I realize that I was running late to my physical therapy appointment, my condition doesn't allow me to sit so long in the chair, I had been there for two hours, I had missed picking up my son from his hair appointment, I had to get him an Uber, I couldn't pick my nephew, the lady was sorry for keeping me so long, finally I said I have to go and left with blank nails but not before they charge me $48 I had no time to argue and left after giving them $50. I took an appointment for my birthday. When I'd reached, there were two other people. Since I'd appointment and I was, to their surprise, on the time. I was seated for pedicure and was given a bowl to soak my fingers. The pedicure was going fine, till 3 of their regulars came in. To be honest, I didn't see their names on the appointment's register. The person who was supposed to work on my nails went to cater to the regular with gel manicure. They hurriedly moved one of the two persons on pedicure to the seat for manicure and got 2 pedicure seats empty for regulars. When I was done with my pedicure- I'm hoping I was not hurried into it. Even though I see some dry skin on foot. I was made to sit for manicure. The nails still are soaked. After one lady, who was there before me and is regular( I got from their conversations), rescheduled her manicure - as it was crowded - and I think she knew she'll not get the best job done. I was attended to. My left fingers were all shriveled by now. The lady working on my nails moved the bowl to the right side. And hurriedly finished working on my nails as her regular was waiting for gel manicure. I left after I was done. And I did tip them as it was my birthday, not for their service. My cuticles were hardly touched and I asked her to address my ingrown nails which she barely acknowledged. I came here because it's super close to where I live so I decided to give this place a try. I requested Natalie since it seemed based on the Yelp reviews that she was good. Based on previous answers on here I believe a regular pedicure is $30. So I asked for a regular pedicure. One nice thing about their regular pedicures is that it came with a sugar scrub and a lotion massage. But like many nail salons in California the workers are lazy and don't like to massage your legs for very long. My entire pedicure took 15 minutes. Natalie did my nails. It was a full set with gel polish. I asked for French tips on a total of 6 of my fingers. A very basic and simple design. See attached picture. But my entire bill was $108 NOT including tip. So she charged me $78 for such a basic set. Mind you, I did like that she used the drill to remove my cuticles, filed underneath my nails, and made it thin like how I liked it. BUT, she nicked me a few times and after the appointment was over it continued to bleed in multiple spots. I asked for almond shape and she gave me an inconsistent round shape before I asked her to fix it. The French I wanted was more of a v shape but she gave me a round French. I honestly feel like my full set was so simple and should not be worth $78. If I had more designs I would understand. But I think this place is overpriced for the quality that you get. I feel like she probably charged me for a manicure as well even though I never asked for one. And if she did charge me for a manicure I never get the full service because she never lotioned my hands or massaged it. I definitely felt like I got ripped off. Keep in mind that they don't have a price list anywhere. If you come here for their services I would recommend you ask them for the prices before getting the service done. read more

Other than the black Korean speaking woman who pleaded on my behalf to give me priority and the lovely lady who came in late and worked on my nails the other women saw no problem in making me wait and having the white elderly women, who came after me, go first. These are the types of ignorant behaviors that continue to perpetuate the cycle of oppression. If it weren't for the two women who showed kindness I would have gone on a much-warranted tirade on this place. I made an appointment a few days ago for this morning at 10:15. When I made the appointment I asked the time the salon opened, she said 10:00 and she asked if I could come at 10:15, I said yes. Today I arrived a few minutes before 10:15. I saw that all the chairs were occupied, no one greeted me when I came in. When I was finally acknowledged I said I had an appointment at 10:15, I was told to sign in which I did. I could tell none of the chairs were going to be occupied soon. I was told to wait, I said how long? I was told 15 mins. I said I can't wait 15 mins I had an appt at 10:15. I then left. Not greeted, didn't care I had an appointment, no apologies. Never going there again. Not a good way to treat your customers. On 8/7/22 I was called about my experience yesterday, I appreciate the fact that they wanted to know what happened. They lacked basic skills, and the second person who came to "fix" my nails was worse than the first one. They just painted on the skin, and called it a day. The cuticles were ruined and they filed it very roughly to a point where it started bleeding. Even now, the finger hurts very much. I wasted my money and time. Came here on Friday afternoon for a pedicure. There was no wait time but you could tell that the staff was tired at the end of the day. While getting my pedicure I felt as if the staff was just rubbing my legs instead of massaging which I told to the worker, and overall for $30 the pedicure was mediocre.
