Stopped by Zen Zero with the family - we usually like to order Yellow Curry or Cashew Vegetable at thai restaurants but we made a point to try several different dishes since there are so many vegan options! All were great - posted photos of each since there don't seem to be many out there for the veggie dishes. Also grabbed a picture of the menu because the website menu didn't seem to have all the options.

Ate inside great staff fast spring rolls were soft full of yummy phad Thai was unique and perfect curry lots of chicken and potatoes needs more sauce though

The pork panang curry was alright given that it was delivered and might be sitting out for a little bit. Overall, the curry might taste better had I've eaten for dine-in instead of getting it delivered.

Food was delicious, the restaurant was cozy but felt upscale. Server was super friendly and attentive. The curry is flavorful and lovely.

Singapore Noodles with Chicken

I ordered this meal for my lunch when I was in a pinch from not having any groceries, and after eating this meal I'm glad I didn't have groceries today!! The flavor was fantastic in the noodles and vegetables; with each bite I felt the flavors come together quite nicely. My only negative was the addition of the chicken was in theory good but it was a little dry and overcooked. All in all I was very happy receiving great service and a fast delivery, ensuring my meal was hot and ready to go when it arrived!

Our to-go order

[To-go experience] Online menu was excellent and easy to read. Ordering was simple enough. It was ready pretty quickly. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, while the flavors were good (and spicier than Thai food typically comes - yes even for Thai food!!), it was all a bit dry and overcooked. The noodles just fell apart - but the GF calamari my friend ordered was a favorite! I've been told by locals that our experience was not typical of ZenZeros quality. I hope so!

I got to try the Pad Thai from Zen Zero and overall, it was okay. The flavors were decent, but nothing that really wowed me. That said, Zen Zero seems to be the go-to spot for Thai food in Lawrence, and I can see why. It's reliable and not bad by any means, but personally, I didn't find it amazing either. Worth a try if you're in the area!

I stopped into Zen Zero last night for dinner before a show at Liberty Hall. I lived in Lawrence for years and never got around to trying them. I knew it was Asian food, but didn't know anything else about it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had Panang curry on the menu so I got it. It was really well done. I've had better, but it was delicious enough that I didn't waste any. The service was good, but nothing spectacular. The restaurant wasn't the cleanest I've seen and there was nothing special about it, but I don't usually expect much from a downtown Lawrence restaurant. All in all, it was a good experience and I would return.

Green Thai Coconut

This my go-to place for curry. I love all of their dishes but my favorite is the Green Thai coconut. I sub the bell peppers for broccoli and the cooks do an amazing job. It's so rich in flavor and filling. The service is great, the ambiance is nice and moody; perfectly lit and casual.

Great Pan-Asian cuisine. Love the Soba noodles. Need more solid silverware because the current silverware is flimsy.

Do not sleep on this place I feel like a lot of restaurants…read morenow are giving small portions of gross food, but this place is so good The food taste and quality is actually worth going inside and eating I am basic I love their sweet pork rice as hot as they can make it ( if it's called something else I'm sorry) The food is so flavorful and if you get spicy it's not obnoxious just trying to be as hot as possible, it blends with flavors and is a wonderful experience I never had bad service here they are so nice and patient It's one of my favorite spots in Topeka Love it

We ordered it Thai hot, and while I expected it to be extremely spicy, it was actually just right--though I can handle heat, so keep that in mind. We also tried the angel hair dish called Phad Woo Ten, and it was awesome. It's made with clear bean noodles and vegetables, giving it a sweet and spicy flavor that really worked well together. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We've been back twice now--once for lunch and once for dinner--and both experiences were great. The service has been consistently excellent. The ladies at the front desk are welcoming and make you feel comfortable right away. The restaurant itself is spacious and warm, which adds to the overall experience. It does get busy during both lunch and dinner, so if you're planning to dine in, it's best to arrive early. Otherwise, ordering online for takeout is a great option. We'll definitely continue coming back.

I've tried pho at several other places, even in Lawrence, and honestly... they didn't compare. This one blew them out of the water and reminded me of what I was used to back in Colorado. We also ordered a dish called backbaam (I may be misspelling it), and it was amazing. It had all the elements of Pad Thai--noodles, egg, cilantro, peanuts--with a sweet flavor and a spicy kick. I ordered it hot, and it was perfectly balanced. The noodles were cooked just right, not mushy at all. We also tried the red curry, which had the perfect amount of spice (I love heat, so if you can handle it, go for it). The rice was cooked to perfection and complemented the dish really well. The ambiance was just as impressive as the food. The restaurant was very clean, spacious, and welcoming. It would be a great spot for a date night or lunch date. The booths are wide and comfortable, and the warm lighting makes it feel cozy without being dark. We will definitely be coming back again!

If I'm to be honest, it felt like it would be expensive (it was not). Then, as I walked in, I realized the interior was even better. It is a "you have to see it to understand" type of experience. From the elegant dishes to the tables and chairs, everything fit together perfectly. It was exquisite. At this point some might say I am embellishing. They may point out nitpicked flaws. These people are those who think art must be perfect and forget nothing ever is. I digress, I'm sure you wish for me to get to food, service, and price. The food was amazing. I ordered the Tiger Cry Beef and the second the perfectly cooked, marinated, meat hit my tongue I wanted to weep. It was succulent, tender, and packed with flavor. The noodles (I had substituted) were cooked just right and the service was great. Everyone greeted me with respect and, dare I say, great cheer. They were professionally charming and warm. All of this felt as if I had found myself, quite by accident, in an upscale restaurant where every bite would cost me a fortune...yet that was not the case. The price, maybe slightly above average, was worth every penny I paid. From the beginning to the end it was an unexpected amazing experience. I recommend coming here, especially if you have a first date or anniversary. It was excellent.

The pad Thai noodles all stuck together and very little chicken for almost $20. The other dish had more meat (beef). But needed more veggies. Portions were fair, but won't be going to Pad Thai restaurant again with other better choices in the area. I'm
