I absolutely love the matte finish on these nails. The nails are strong and holding amazingly well. The salon is clean and well kept. My manicurist did an amazing and professional job. I've tried multiple nail salons since I've moved back from Vail, Colorado and could not find any place that did a professional proper job until now. At the other salons I've tried my nails would fall off, painfully, after only a few days. I thought I was going to have to go all the way to the city (or back to Colorado) until I found Zen. My mom wanted a pedicure this afternoon and I spent her to Zen since the location was close to home. Apparently, the nail color bled onto the skin after the technician diluted it. After several attempts of trying to obtain the technician's attention to address the problem a different technician tried to repair the color without success. She cameo home with a botched nail. It is an unfortunate experience as I had a gel manicure last week at Zen which was good. With the exception of the staff all chatting and showing off their Instagram pictures to each other, I thought it was a decent place for in and out service. After booking an appointment for a gel Mani, the tech sat me right next to another client, although there were several empty seats that would have been better in regard to Covid-19. When she began to take my polish off, I couldn't ignore that the table top was filthy with grit from the last client. I asked her to clean it and she did. We will never step foot in Zen Nails ever again! For years we went there for gel manicures, as well as pedicures, but never again. They wrecked my beautiful, natural nails by continually drilling off the layers off my nails. I once had beautiful strong nails, and I had to have another salon cut them down because they were all cracking off! Instead of letting the old polish soak off, they want to get their clients in and out, so they won't take the time to let them soak, instead they use the drill to hurry up the manicure procedure. It's all about the money there, not the client satisfaction. Shame on them! Then the manager, Tiffany, lies to you when you find someone you're happy with, not letting you book them. She'll just tell you they don't work there anymore. While that worker is sitting right there, it makes absolutely no sense. My adult daughter was screamed at by another manager at their Williamsville location about missing an appointment, when she didn't even have an appointment. He embarrassed her with his ridiculous rant. I honestly do not believe all the workers are licensed here, and should not be able to work in this profession. I went here before and after COVID-19. They follow all the protocols for covid and I felt very comfortable taking my girlfriend there to get pedicures. It was well worth our time and money since the atmosphere is nice as well! It looks really clean! My nail tech was Tracy and she made me feel really comfortable through the process as I am not someone who gets their nails done often. I just got a basic Pedicure, my girlfriend on the other hand had some really nice looking nails at the end of it (she got a manicure as well). Years ago, this place was good.. The location on Main street Williamsville better than Orchard Park. Lisa did a great job, I have spent a lot of money here. Since Lisa has left, I have had terrible experiences there. Today bad enough for me to leave a review. I made an appt for 9 am because I had work at 11, I was told I had to wait because staff was late. I explained I had to goto work. The miserable girl sat me down. The 45 min-1hour Suppose to be appt was less than 20 min. She put my hands in cold water for 20 seconds then pretended to cut my cuticles.. then slopped some gel polish on them. I was having a rough morning and this was suppose to be a relaxing hour, but I was uncomfortable and wanted to leave. I always leave generous tips, but felt that the $43 for a manicure was enough and I shouldnt even have paid that, so no tip. I hope the owners read these messages and fix your services. read more

I always get dip but I've also done acrylic in the past and Tracey is amazing!! In my opinion both locations have done an amazing job after returning from covid to get back into business and keep their clients happy!! Worst nail job in wny. Pedicure was awesome, the girl was friendly and I really enjoyed. The nail girl said not two words to me, did my nails in record time and they looked it. She never evened them out, so I left with lumpy looking and uneven nails. Within 3 days I had 4 broken nails and had to clip the others to try to deflect any attention to my nails. I cancelled the second appt and found a salon that is comparable in price, as friendly staff and they did an awesome job cleaning up the mess from zen nails. Sure, zen looks impressive and clean, but I felt like I was just another set of nails on an assembly line. Get them in, do them quick, take their money and get them out.
