    Guatemalan Micro lot

5 star coffee! Ordered Guatemala Yepocapa Micro Lot Pachup and Miriam's Morning Blend coffee. For my current coffee set up I go ground- drip and medium roast. Great quality, amazing taste and freshness in a eco friendly bag! The Guatemalan Yepocapa is my absolute favorite thus far. At $15 dollar a pound it's absolute gold! The overall mission is great and I reap the benefits of 5 star coffee every morning! Take a look and see what you prefer. There is several coffee selections. He does sell coffee beans , ground coffee and different roasts. Shipping is quick and the owner sometimes leaves hand written thank you notes in some of the receipts when you order from his website. Very personal touch. I would recommend his coffee to anyone. -Rick

This is a coffee roaster. They'll make you a pour over cup of jo so you can try a bean before purchase, if you try it you'll very likely buy a bag. I just tried my first cup of freshly ground Guatemalan micro-lot pachup, very tasty. I tend towards the darker roasts and this particular bag of heavenly beans is a medium-dark. The bag the beans come in has lots of info on it. The region of Guatemala the beans were grown in, the elevation, the variety of bean, the milling process......washed and patio dried, and one of my favorites......the roast date. The bags the beans come in is 100% recyclable. They're only open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9am to 5pm so plan accordingly, you'll thank me later.

Such a gem of a coffee shop. This spot is for ligit coffee lovers...the owner Joseph gave me a quick history of his shop and journey!! Bought me a bag of coffee and can't wait to open...

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The desserts here are fun, unique, and very different from what you find at most places. My only…read morecomplaint is the lack of labeling for many of the products. For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

We ordered the iced pistachio latte with almond milk and the sweet chocolate iced blend with almond milk and a shot of espresso. Both drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. I'm very delighted that I've found a coffee shop that has a pistachio drink that actually tastes like a pistachio! The customer service was fantastic, the restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, although not as spacious as many coffee shops it's still manageable, and we saw online that they offer monthly barista classes. I most definitely plan to return to this establishment!

The barista helped me pick out the perfect latte. I got the Island Latte, which the barista told me has toasted coconut flavors with a hint of pandan. I had them make it semi-sweet... There's limited seating inside, but I found a small table to get some work done (wifi access with purchase). It was a bit hot and humid inside, so I was a bit uncomfy. But that's Texas summer for ya!

It was my first visit--I ordered an almond milk cappuccino, an iced banana bread latte, and a chocolate croissant (note: the full kitchen opens an hour after the shop). Both drinks were fantastic--well balanced, and the banana bread latte really tasted like its namesake without being overly sweet. The croissant was average, though I appreciated the smaller size compared to the oversized ones you usually see. The barista was knowledgeable and genuinely engaged with customers, which made the experience stand out. One downside: the Wi-Fi was slow, even when it wasn't busy, so I ended up using my phone hotspot. I'd come back to try the matcha and explore more of the food menu.
