We visited Luce Coffee after hearing about it from neighbors, and the visit was great! The interior is clean, uncluttered, but inviting. The space is large enough to hold several people but not empty or hollow feeling. The decor is 'modern coffee house' style, and it is obvious that a lot of work went into the buildout of this location.
The coffee was high quality. i had a 1 shot espresso in order to taste the core product. It was flavorful in many ways, fruity, toasy, and not bitter. I also had a hot latte which was also great in quality and satisfying. My parter had an iced chai latte and it was good quality, not overly sweet, and very good in flavor and chai spice pepperiness. We also had a cinnamon roll which was very good: Fresh, and not lacking in cinnamon. The bread was fresh and flavorful without being tough. The roll was not drowned in icing because it didn't need any icing. The resulting product was just about perfect for me, giving a strong cinnamon flavor without being bitter, or highly sweet, or tough, or doughy.
The atmosphere at 10 AM on a Sunday was quiet, with a few other patrons coming and going as we sat. One person was studying.
The service was fantastic and quick. I don't buy consume coffee outside of my home, but this place is great and I plan to go back. read more
