Scallops, carrot lime mint mousse, cold tomato soup and bread.

My goodness what a fantastic find. The food was delicious and not your typical tapas - carrot lime mint mousse! Cooked scallops served in their shells, a lentil salad with pomegranates everything we had was delicious and felt really healthy and creative. Casul place with a modern mismatched furniture vibe, and friendly helpful staff. It's around the corner from Sagrada Família yet worlds away from more touristy tapas. Delightful

We were in for an early dinner and saw reviews we were 5 stars. After our meal, we agree with the 5 stars! Everything was delicious ... all freshly made in the kitchen with such great flavors! The staff were so attentive and didn't rush us out. We got to take our time enjoying thr food. And the decor and ambiance was calming and chic. Would love to go back!

Everything about this restaurant was magnificent! The chef and his wife, Charlotte are French restaurateurs and clearly know what they are doing. The menu completely changes every week or so and I can't wait to come back here again when I return to Barcelona. The ambience is very warm and charming and with a super chill vibe. We had a tapa that was a purée/mousse of roasted carrot and kefir lime with bread pieces. The flavors were so simple but absolutely amazing. For our entrees, one of my sisters had the salmon that was a very generous portion that melted in our mouths. My other sister had the red mullet in the Thai sauce with coconut milk that she loved. My meal completed my Tartar de buey experiences that I have been having in Spain and France and this was by far my favorite. It was served with tasty roasted potatoes and a small arugula/rockette salad. I also ordered the pan con tomate to accompany my tartar and it was the best I have had while visiting this beautiful country. Again, another generous portion of tomate with incredible sourdough bread. I am from San Francisco, so I know the best sourdough bread! To finish off our delicious meal, Charlotte brought over a complimentary after dinner aperitif that was a milky white, adult beverage made from rice that tasted like a nutty rum with a hint of citrus that explodes in your mouth. Thank you Charlotte for a great meal and sneaking us in for dinner. All the best to you and your husband's continued success.

Delicious, and great service--they got us in on a busy night and were so hospitable about it! Loved the ambience, and it was the perfect spot to find after a long day on our feet at La Sagrada Familia when we wanted to go somewhere that wasn't touristy or overpriced.

We stumbled upon this place a few blocks from the Sagrada Familia. What a gem!! It was a cold, windy day but we enjoyed our extensive visit to the Sagrada Familia. Refusing to go anywhere touristy, we walked a few blocks. The exterior was inviting and the interior is so lovely with exposed brick and muted colors. Our waiter was so sweet. The food: I had "Filet Mignon," a sous vide pork loin with a lovely citrus sauce and very buttery mashed potatoes. My friend ordered beetroot hummus and smoked monkfish carpaccio. I am a little afraid of raw fish but it was delicious! The flavors of the sauce and vegetables really complimented it.

We visited here for dinner and were very happy with the quality and prices of the food, the service, and the general ambiance of the restaurant. At the end of our meal, our waitress let us try a local rice liquor which was also delicious! Definitely check it out if you're in the area

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

My son had been here last year and thought, it was a solid. We put our name in, went to a nearby park bench to wait and watch people for 50 minutes. The servers outside are grumpy as to many people are crowding the sidewalk and impeding his service. Finally, our name was called, were seated at the bar, and watched a chef make the magic dishes. The menu is huge and I can't help but watch the delicious dishes flying by us. So little time and yet so many great choices, this won't be easy. We began with the beef tenderloin montadito foie gras. It was presented as a open face sandwich on a bagette. We split it as it had a huge piece of foie gras. The tenderloin was tough and the tapas tasted like indivdual components, not a blended or refined profile. The grilled razor clams were nicely cooked, slightly gritty and needed to be washed more thoroughly. The Spanish omelet wedge was spiritual, dish of the night award. The onion made the dish! The sliced fried artichoke was finely shaved, and again lacked a enjoyable flavor that I would order again. The chips with fried eggs and Jabugo ham was different, tasty and a concept I would not of thought about. Delicious! Casveseria Catalanahe was packed and stacked for a reason. A high vibe and energy even in the face of a revolt at the check in desk from hungry dinners. I came say without hesitation, we will give them a second try. The staff was friendly, engaging, warm and a good sense of humor, nothing but smiles. I can't wait for our next trip to Cerveseria Catalana and let them tell me what to order. Good luck and see you sooner than later.

After discovering that our first three choices were all shuttered, we ended up at La Pepita by default. Thankfully, it turned out to be a great find. We stopped in late in the afternoon, when the pace was relaxed but the energy still lively. The space had a fun, casual vibe -- the kind of place that feels effortlessly cool without trying too hard. The service was friendly and quick, and the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. We ordered a few snacks and drinks, all of which hit the spot. Everything was flavorful, nicely presented, and perfect for sharing. Even though it wasn't quite the dinner rush, there was a steady flow of people, which tells me it's a popular spot year-round, not just a backup when others are closed. Taverna El Glop wraps you up in its warm, lively atmosphere the second you walk in. We were a group of four, and from start to finish, we had an awesome time. The open kitchen is a great touch -- you can watch the chef in action, which adds to the energy and makes the whole experience feel more connected and authentic. We shared a bunch of dishes, and everything was on point. The paella was rich and delicious -- exactly what we came for. The patatas bravas were crispy, creamy, and gone in seconds, and the shishito peppers were the perfect salty, snacky starter. Of course, we had to get a pitcher of sangria (okay, maybe two), which was fruity, refreshing, and just strong enough to keep things festive. The space itself has this great, rustic charm -- complete with checkered tablecloths and even an old cigarette machine near the bar (haven't seen one of those since I was a kid -- aren't those banned in the U.S. now?). I don't smoke -- smoking sucks -- but it added a bit of unexpected nostalgia and character. Service was excellent. I always make a point to be friendly, ask people their names, and introduce myself -- and that's usually met with warmth. It definitely was here. The staff were quick, kind, and seemed to enjoy the place as much as we did. Personally, I loved it. It's the kind of place you remember -- not because it's fancy or trendy, but because it's fun, flavorful, and full of heart. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
