Exterior Parking lot is small and can be a bit treacherous to turn into and only slightly less risky exiting. It's right at a busy intersection of Spring and Atlanta Rd. In my case, I turned left from Atlanta Rd on to Spring. I was third at the light (and keep in mind this is a leading green.) We all turned left. Driver 1 braked to turn into the parking lot. Driver 2 wasn't expecting this and slammed on his brakes suddenly. I WAS already potentially expecting this AND driving slowly because I knew exactly where it was located. Driver 1 had a bit of a struggle turning in because the turn is 'tight' and there's a concrete curb / divider that you'll run up on you're not careful making the turn. Once Driver 2 accelerated, I slowed down even more to make my turn and the truck behind starts laying on the horn. Leaving, I took my time pulling out because the car in front of me nearly got T-boned when they pulled out. There's a blind curve right before, traveling from Atlanta Rd, and most people are traveling well over the speed limit. Please note - No stars deducted for this. I have no idea whether they lease or own the building - but I do realze that its not always fair to ding a business because it's hard to to turn into their parking lot. At a glance, it might seem like adding a turn aisle / lane would alleviate the issue, but when you do turn in, theres a bit of steep decline / incline, so it would take a good bit of money / effort to build that side back up and widen it enough for an abuttment. And then you'd have issues ... even more issues ... with cars leaving the drive thru fighting for egress with cars turning in. If you've lived in metro Atlanta, you know its randomly hilly. This parcel seems almost like its below ground level. With the size and depth of the parcel - it was never suited for a business with a lot of in and out volume. I only mentioned the entering / exiting to give others a heads up. Interior N/A. Did not go inside. Price / Value Pricey like all food nowadays. Lol. I don't visit any Zaxby's location very often anymore because they discontinued my favorite item. (Zaxby's club basket, hold the cheese, no drink. Lol.) But I love LOVE crinkle fries so when I'm 'treating myself' / allowing myself a cheat day for fast food, if I'm near any location other than the one on EW Connector, I try to hit them up. I typically get just a plain order of fries or the chicken bacon ranch fries. What I will say is that the portions they gave when the loaded fries were first introduced - compared to portion sizes now - laughable. I ordered the fries on this visit and wasn't expecting much, in terms of toppings, because I've grown accustomed to them skimping on toppings. As predicted - there was very little chicken topping. What I did NOT predict is the additional topping of human hair. See photos. Customer Service Non-existent. I discovered the hair while driving home. I tried calling the store as soon as I got home. Tried multiple times over the course of 2 hours. Tried again the next day. No answer. No response when I submitted a web-form online and asked to be contacted. I know its not a lot of money, but I will be disputing the charge with my debit card issuer. Overall I know mistakes happen but hair in food PLUS difficulty reaching the facility for a refund PLUS the fact that you have to play Rear-end Russian roulette trying to make that tight right turn from Spring Rd ... means I won't be back. read more

Those tacos are amazing!!! I got a chicken finger plate too, just in case I didn't like them but that ended up being saved for dinner. I tried both, the chipotle chicken taco and the ranch chicken taco. My favorite was the chipotle one but both were really good. The tenders were fresh and hot. Like steaming when I bit into the taco which may have made a difference. But atp I highly recommend giving them a try. As always the chicken finger plate with fries was good. I don't know they gave out Cole slaw with meals too. I feel like that's new. I don't like Cole slaw so I didn't try it but the option is there if you like Cole slaw. I ordered through the drive through on a Saturday during lunch hours and my wait time was not long at all. Maybe five min or less. I'd order again. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot give this location an excellent rating. They can never get your order correct. It could be the simplest order and either something is missing or the order is entirely wrong. When you go through the drive through they have these kids on iPads all in your face taking orders. You don't give you a menu to review. If you need the see the menu they will direct you to the speaker and still follow you to take your order. And you at least make them put on a mask when they approach the customers? Not sure of the purpose because it doesn't help with the drive-through traffic. One of the most annoying things is when you ask for a drink with no ice and they give you a cup filled with ice. It clearly says "no ice" on the receipt. This store really needs train their employees because it is obvious they are not. I am done with this location. Get it together Zaxby's Smyrna. read more

It's usual Zaxby's. Hit or miss - decent food, subpar service. I think what's noteworthy about this particular location is how awkward the setup is. I remember when they first opened. They had to have Police directing traffic for weeks. That's never been necessary at any other location. You cannot make a left turn into there from Spring Road, which is ridiculous. My first time at a Zaxby's ever. nicely decorated inside, much better than any other fast food restaurant. Friendly staff not too long to order or receive food. 7:45 PM Tuesday night. I ordered the cobb salad with fried chicken and no bacon. this is what you get when you want to order healthy but not too much. I asked for no bacon which also meant they had special make it and not just take it out of a pile of ready made. Came out in a big plastic plate with a side of toast ???‍. comparing this salad to the one that Chick-fil-A sells there is definitely less chicken. looks like maybe they used one chicken strip. The chicken tasted very good made me think that I should've just got fried chicken and skipped the greens altogether. so I'm going to have to come back another time and have the chicken strips. Had never been to a Zaxby's so tried it out. Thought it would be more than fried chicken fingers, so was disappointed. You order at a central counter and given the simple menu the food is ready in minutes. It don't take long or much to punch out salty deep-fried chicken tenders. The menu is variations or, "how many ways can you serve chicken strips pretending that it is something special?" Have them as a plate with crinkle fries? How about on a bun as a sandwich, with or without crinkly fries? Or on top of lettuce as a salad? Or...just in a small bag by themselves? A slightly spiced thousand island dressing goes as Zax Sauce. It was good with the crinkle fries and flavorful. Iced tea was good. Drinks were self-serve. I was torn between giving this place 2 stars or 3. Food: The Fried White Cheddar bites were delicious! Tasted like mini mozzarella sticks! The onion rings were very good. Amazingly they were still good and not soggy when I got to eat them. My only disappointment were the chicken fingers. They were soggy. The sauces were gross. For a meal that cost over 10 bucks they should at least trick you and put them in plastic cups. Service: A little slow, but it's my understanding they make them food to order. I'll be back. I have been trying not to eat out lately. Well today I gave in and decided to. I regret it!! First off the chicken was under cooked. Took one bite and spit it out. Secondly part of my order was missing. Didn't find out until I was home (25 mins from location). Call over the phone the manager was pleasant. Took my name and told me to come whenever and they would "take care of me". Drive all the way back because obviously I ordered $25 of food for a reason(so my kids can eat). Well this was my favorite place to go but one day I went on a Friday or any day after school lets out Middle School and I walked in and it was full of kids they trashed the place there was food all over the floor trash on the floor and you couldn't even get a seat because all the kids were sitting all over the seats in walking all over the place and you couldn't even enjoy your food. I really can't believe that money is better than having the customers happy they rather have the kids in their spending money and tearing up the place then worrying about the customers who come all the time so we will not be going back to this one we will have to go across town to go to a better one so if you want enjoy your food in peace do not go there after 2 pm. read more

This place was great at first. My fries were cold and under cooked. Second time I go they served me over cooked tenders i even checked them before I left and was embaressed to let them know but It lingered on my way to pick up my dominos. I called and to get to a manger is like prying open a safe. I placed my order at 945 I live 5 min away from there and the employee stated to me on the phone are you going to be here before 10?!! The audicity!!! This occused on 11/23/14 at around 945 pm. I then called before I returned my order and asked for a manger. One guy is really nice I think allen if im not correct hes tall. This was our first visit to a Zaxby's. We saw it under construction & wanted to check it out. So we had our date night dinner here before going grocery shopping. The place is very clean-they even had an employee who looked like his main job is to go around & wipe the counters & tables. We took a few minutes to decide what we wanted since it was our first time & I was a bit surprised that the staff behind the counter didn't ask if we needed any help. When we were finally ready to order, the employee who took our order was courteous & pleasant. Our food was ready extremely quick-we were shocked by the almost-no wait for it. When we sat down, we tried everything & in all honesty, we were a bit disappointed. The fries weren't good without ketchup & the chicken tenders were *very* salty & not "amazing" like everyone always claims. I wasn't impressed by the Zax sauce either - it seemed to make the already-too salty tenders even more salty! One huge plus for this place was that the employee who was wiping down counters came by our table & asked if it was our first time here, and we said yes. He welcomed us & gave us each a free cookie - I got white chocolate macadamia nut & hubby got chocolate chip. The cookies were really good & that was really nice of him to do that. I'll start by saying that I am a fan of zaxby's and have been eating their food for years. I've been through the drive-thru of this new location 3 times and all 3 times my order has been incorrect. The first time, I chalked it up to a new team still working out the kinks in their process. The second time, I caught it before leaving and went inside to retrieve the missing piece of my order. No apology or acknowledgement of wrong-doing. Today was my third time through the drive-thru and it's really my own fault for not thoroughly checking my order before driving away. Two of the three entrees were wrong. For those of you wondering why the service is so slow (as I've seen mentioned in other reviews), it's because I'm at the window going through each and everything I order to ensure its correct before driving away. read more
