Finally tried Zaxbys. Bonus for having great Christmas lights every year! This is another restaurant with dirty tables and floors. Tables were wobbly as well. I ordered the Zaxbys spicy chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich just had a spicy sauce poured on it. The sandwich was ok. Nothing special. The fries were bland with no flavor. I was excited to try Zaxby's! The cashier at the counter was super helpful and courteous! I ordered a house salad with chicken -because isn't that what they're "famous" for?! Well for $12 for a salad and small drink I guess I was a little disappointed to say the least. You'll notice in the picture that each item is in its corner, nothing blended or tossed. The tomatoes were sliced, not chopped. The cucumber slices were so thick that they were very tough. Then there was some dried onion thing in another corner. It was hard to get to the lettuce. Also, there was some type of bread/toast in another corner. That was pretty good, it had a sweet flavor to it. I was happy that the dressing was on the side. The sad thing was, a very large fruit fly landed on my salad like a fighter jet and never flew off, even with me waving my hand at it. Unfortunately, I was unable to satisfy my hunger because now I had lost my appetite and had to toss 75% of my salad. The last thing is the drink area only offered tea, no soft drinks and the counter was so incredibly sticky, that this could be part of the fly/bug issue. I should've taken my meal to go. read more

We came here recently to get some lunch before the long weekend. The store was empty and there wasn't much people in line for the drive through. The cashier was quick when it came to ordering and took our order correctly the first time. We did have to wait around 15 minutes for our food. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The beverage area was a little gross and sticky though. I do wish there was a bit of consistency for their food though. Sometimes, our fries would have seasoning and other times doesn't even have a drop. Overall, the food came out piping hot and delicious. read more

Was in the drive thru from 3:05 to 3:37. Line took forever but it was mainly bc person in front was ordering the entire menu. Workers were nice and apologetic for the wait. Grilled cheese was BLACK burnt completely - inedible. And they gave me barely ANY FRIES at all. Also my brother's meal, they cut the fries in HALF to make it look like he had more fries than he did (he probably had less than I did in total!). The inside is very nice and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu was a little bit confusing for us on our first visit, but the selection is decent. I wasn't very impressed with how the wings are cooked or the flavor of the sauces, but portions we're good. I also was unimpressed by the Texas toast, I'd rather have bread sticks but didn't see it as an option. Bottom line is it's decent and you should at least try it. read more

I ordered three meals desert and a shareable through the drive-through. I live 30 minutes away and did not realize until I got home that half of my order was missing. I called the restaurant and they told me to come back inside, bring my receipt, and they asked for my name so the manager knew who would be coming. I arrived at the restaurant an hour after my order time (since I live 30 minutes away). The manager said that she would remake my items that were missing from the order. I asked her if she would remake everything since the rest of my order is now cold. She asked if I had brought the order back with me I said no she said well then I can't remake your order. I said but it's cold and it's not my fault that you guys messed up the order. She then said that she would remake all of it but next time bring all the food back. I said there shouldn't be a next time. I expected my order to be correct in the first place, but when it wasn't I expected to at least be treated with hospitality and respect because of their mistake. The manager was very rude and not accommodating at all. Truly upsetting. read more

This restaurant serves some of the best chicken strips/tenders I've ever had, especially from a fast food establishment. It is actual all white meat chicken and doesn't taste frozen or process at all. The crinkle fries are great and the coleslaw is flavorful. I recommend the Zax sauce for your chicken. I do wish the drive thru line went just a little faster and having more than one sauce was free instead of $.50 after the first. BUT it's soooo worth it because the food is always hot and delicious! read more

I like the staff here they are very sweet. And that is where the love letter stops. If you like overly hot 'spicy' overly fried n' dried chicken mcnuggets then by all means stop on in and have your fill. We ordered 40 pieces of 'chicken' and the only upside is that I will never have to eat that crp again. Nor my friends as conspicuously they touched not one of these over priced items. Came to this location on Saturday, March 19th, and placed an order, totaling approximately $27.00. The Zaxby's at this location has recently implemented some new drive-thru operation where their employees will come up to your car with menus and make you pay for your order before you even reach the drive-thru window. The whole thing feels super rushed so it is understandable how mistakes are very easily made. After placing my order, I pulled up to the outside pay area and handed the girl my card. She runs my card through the register twice and then turns to me saying, "Sorry, our system is being really slow. If you pull up to where you get your food they can take your card there." Okay, no problem. Got my order and paid with no further issues. Well, today I checked my bank statements and I saw that I was charged for this order twice, costing me approximately $54.00. I am beyond pissed, as this has left me with almost no money until payday. If this girl would have just waited a few extra seconds to make sure that my card really was not charged, this would not be an issue. But she was very obviously more worried about saving time with orders, which is ridiculous because there were only two or three cars behind me. Unfortunately, I discarded my receipt as I didn't foresee this issue, so I doubt anything will be done. Zaxby's please train your employees to pay attention to details and stop placing order time above customer satisfaction. read more

All I have to say is terrible. Service was awesome if they forget to tell you that you can't get extra sauce of any kind at the window cause they charge you extra. Also forget to ask what sauce you want when you order. Try to give them exact change, and before you hand them coins the said they already put your cash through, couldn't even count an extra $.13 to give me back a dollar. What a joke. When I get my food the cup was full of ice and 3/4 full of liquid. Pretty much 4 swallows and gone. When I ask for a dipping sauce they pretty much said oh well outta luck. Fries were soggy as well as the bread, chicken seemed under cooked so I cooked it longer at home to be safe. Glad I will never eat at one of these again. I became a fan of Zaxby's grilled chicken offerings while stationed in Alabama, so imagine my excitement when they set up shop in J-ville! I've tried every one of their "Most Popular" menu items and have not been disappointed either with the quality of food or the portion size. The Cajun Club is my favorite sandwich - it's a well seasoned piece of chicken breast served with bacon, cheese, ranch, lettuce and tomato on a toasted buttery bun; it blows most other grilled chicken sandwiches out of the water in terms of flavor, and also probably in terms of calorie count, but who cares when it tastes that good? The crinkle fries that come with it are also a treat. Still my all time favorite, and what I ate again today, is the Blue "Zalad" made with blackened chicken. Let me tell you - the salad gods smiled upon Zaxby's when they built this thing because, wow. This thing has it all; juicy and flavorful chicken, fresh greens, crispy friend onions, and when it's mixed with their Mediterranean dressing, OMG. Not only that but it comes in a generous serving size. I'm 6'2", 190 lbs and I'm completely satisfied afterwards. I don't do fried chicken much, so if you're like me and enjoy grilled chicken, you need to eat here! read more

Do not use the drive through. They always forget something. A whole meal, a side, or the sauces that you have to pay for. We are regulars and usually go inside so I can check the order but I had to use the drive through because my son is sick. Next time I'll go somewhere else if I can't go inside. read more

Was super impressed with the food we were served the first day it was opened ... My husband and I both ordered the chicken finger plate (so so so good!!) Although we had to wait 45mins in the drive thru line, it was worth it (and completely understandable!) However since the grand opening it seems as though they aren't taking as much time to insure a quality meal is served! The last time I went I ordered the chicken finger sandwich and it was just thrown together and my bun was as flat and shriveled as could be... Chicken was still good though!! The wings are small and chewy. Not a good combination for good wings. Wings should be a medium to larger and have a crispy skin. The original sauce was just ok, nothing special and the sweet and tangy was not good in my opinion. Growing up as a wing lover from Buffalo, NY my standards are high for wings and these will not get a second chance. read more
