I was out exploring on Saturday and ran into this amazing place (which I will be going again this weekend.) that was the best sandwich/burger I've had in a while! I ordered the American double meat burger and it was delicious! Jesus don't get me started on those fries, because we're about to sit here talking bout those crispy brown almost orange pepper freckled pieces of fantasy mixed with lust and desire all day.... It's great that this place closed. Last time I came to pick up an order for someone here, they were out back smoking for 15 minutes even though they saw me pull up. Not a soul in the place. After that, they went back to 'work' but never washed hands or anything, then touched every single thing inside the burgers they were making with their bare hands. 15 minutes after that, they came to the window to ask me who I was there for. I hate to write this because I've never had too much of an issue at this Checkers, but I'm going to anyway. We pull up to the drive-thru and wait. And wait. And wait. Not one word. My mom says "Hello?" and some trifling woman responds with an attitude. We try ordering, but clearly we can't hear each other, so my mother says hello again. last night my family and i went there and we really like checkers food. We sat there for like five mins are so, no response. The menu board lights are always out so you have to strain to look at the menu first of all. Also, you have to get the attention of the staff worker they never greet you at the intercom first. This place need new workers and management. Lord knows what they are doing to people food. Places like this makes you feel fearful of eating out anymore, when we were leaving out they were men running to the front. It's amazing to me that when you order at the window that the person helping you just throws your order in a bag to get it done. Doesn't matter what the food looks like. Love the buttery fries!!! My first time here and the service was pleasant. The slushees are too sweet but that's based on my tastebuds.

Was told they were understaffed so they were "closed", but saw them get out and smoke weed right in front of our faces. After they finished smoking, they went back in and had a huge line waiting to get attended. My question is, why are they getting paid, but not doing their jobs? This should not be happening. Sent my husband to get dinner for the 5 of us. No one was there so thought it would be quick. Very wrong. The order taker kept cutting my hubs off after everything he ordered trying to give him a total and got an attitude when he was told there was more. He fucked my burger up which was supposed to be plain and we also ordered 2 orders of large mozzarella sticks which weren't in the bag. Husband had to go to the window to tell them they got it wrong when all they did was point at the sign saying have to go through the drive through which had a long line already. So he stood at rhe window waiting for someone to come only for them to give him an attitude when they gave him the newly made burger and when asked about the mozzarella sticks he threw a bag with 2 small orders inside which isn't what we asked or paid for. Very rude slow and mouth full of cuss words. At the window hubs could hear him taking the order behind us and he kept cutting the gentleman off like he did us. The slowest, rudest, and least sanitary place I've been to. Of the usual 20 minutes you spend waiting on an order, a fair amount of time is the staff completely ignoring you. Their sanitation rating in an 86, a level I would imagine being right above shutting the place down. I ordered through Uber Eats. They messed up the order completely. There was NO cheese on my burger, it was supposed to come with two pieces of cheese already and I added EXTRA cheese on top of that. The coke drink did NOT taste like coke at all, and they forgot my honey mustard. all of this was on the receipt taped to the bag, so I don't understand why or how they could mess up this bad. read more

First off I love checkers food especially their fries omg I love their fries. So have had the chance to go here a few times and every time they got a order wrong out of several meals ordered. They always manage too. The staff isn't always nice or friendly. When they give you lettuce on a sandwich they are stingy with it honestly I get more lettuce at mcdonald's than checkers gives me. I even had to go out of my way to contact corporate office which gave me free coupons to use several times for free food. In this time and their apology they particular checkers continued to get orders wrong, be somewhat rude and just became not worth going here anymore. I hate that since no where near another checkers but I don't blame the company I blame the management and staff at this location. It will never stop me from eating checkers but will stop me from this one unless something changes. read more

It's cheap and the food is good depending on what you get. It's definitely perfect for when you can't figure out what you would like to eat. However, one of the things that I did not care for the last time I went was when they allowed some guy that works there to use his mp3 player. I saw him take one of his earbuds out and then he was scratching his face. He may have washed his hands afterwards before handling the food but I don't think so.
