Jimmy John's is one of those places that is just plain good at what it does. It's a sandwich shop, and they make great sandwiches with cold cuts. I made an online order, they were fast and all but the sandwich was made WRONG. When I called the store to fix it the guy who was on the phone told me I was wrong, and he would not give me new sandwich made correctly. Very irritating. Today I came by drive through and asked for extra mayo packets for our sandwiches...the guy at the window states that "TYPICALLY they only give ONE MAYO PACKET per sandwich... AFTER THAT they start charging for the extra packets." WTF??? You charge like 2 to 3 dollars more than SUBWAY, then on top of that all the ingredients are weighed/measured or whatever they do to ensure their sandwiches don't have TOO MUCH AVOCADO SPREAD. (Btw, you have to pay .75 extra (for a teaspoon or two) more avocado) what I LOVE ABOUT SUBWAY is they aren't sticklers about what ingredients you can have on your sandwich. I get to have it "MY WAY" just like Burger King says I can. So instead of stopping in JIMMY JOHN's to have the FAST SERVICE for FOUR DOLLARS MORE. I will go to Subway... Possibly the most disappointing sandwiches we've ever had. Honestly Jimmy Johns is just disappointing. We had never tried it before so we decided eh we may as well. My wife and I both love sub sandwiches and it's pretty hard to mess subs up so we decided to try it. Well I'm impressed. They messed up sub sandwiches. First off I just wanna know how you're a sandwich place and you don't have pepperoni? You gotta be kidding me. Then to have salami put on the sandwich cause it was the closest thing to pepperoni they had it cost an extra $2. For 3 slices of salami! They have no sauces for you sandwiches. The bread is super thick so it ends up just tasting like you're eating bread. I asked for Jimmy's mustard on my sandwich and they couldn't even get that right. Unless Jimmy's mustard is some non existent mustard that doesn't taste or look like anything they didn't put any on my sandwich. They're just disappointing. Definitely recommend subway or firehouse or Jersey Mike's or any other sub place. They must have misspelled disappointing in their slogan cause it reads "Gourmet Subs" and that isn't even close to what they are. read more
