Yes sir they're pretty fast and on top of it today they are not on top of anything I had to wait over 10 minutes just to get my order taken. I almost pulled off, but I want my sweet tea that like I always get every single day very dissatisfied today. read more

Just left there. Service was horriable; asked person upfront for a sec since its our first time eating there. Im cool with her walking off for a sec but she never came back. She walked by us several times then went to bathroom. Another worker got a partial of order and had to walk off. Finally one more worker to finish order. Fries we soggy. Shakes werent mixed up no flavor. Never going again. read more

3/3/26 Young blonde cashier was wonderful, food was missing items I paid for and in the process of trying to fix the issue the cashier was yelled at by a male hidden behind a wall, 4/5 stars just for the cashier's willingness to fix the issue, I hate that I got her yelled at for a mistake that had nothing to do with her and will not continue to patronize a business that treats employees this way openly, honestly a shame since this was my go to spot after getting off work from nightshift 5 nights a week, 1 star rating because my food was rung up correctly yet the kitchen had an attitude when they forgot items. read more

Having had a couple of days to revisit my experience, I honestly wish we had a Cook Out in Texas so I could go back more often. The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. I got the bacon cheeseburger, and it was exactly as you'd expect if somebody had grilled it up at a backyard... Cook Out. Fresh food, made to order, and had good flavor. Since you can't find Cheerwine very often in Texas, I was thrilled with the Cheerwine float. Very simple, nothing fancy, very tasty. Plus, 4 adults ate our fill and took home some leftovers and the bill was about $35. Hard to get 4 full meals, including dessert, for less than $10/person these days. read more

The food, although it might not be the prettiest to look at, is very tasty. Especially the burgers. Wish there were a larger burger, diameter-wise. Maybe I'm just weird but I'd rather have that, than two or three stacked on top of each other. But once again, it's very good. No doubt about it. P.S. wish the fries were crispy every time. read more

First of all the Food was cold an second the tables were disgustingly sticky I'll be takin my money else where

This was the worst yet... My cheeseburger was cold, shrunken/partial, dry and prepared incorrectly. There were more pickles than the two thinnest, smallest pieces of lettuce imaginable. Not to mention super wilted... My hush puppies were cold and hard. My fries were mushed together, broken and soggy... But my Arnold palmer was on point, so there's that... read more

paid $4 for cheese bites. got 5 burnt and cold cheese bites. I only ordered two things, I'm sure I would've been fine waiting for another batch if needed. the employees the last several times I've been have been rude and I'm not sure why. I have always been polite, even when it isn't appreciated. please do better, I love the food but for the price it isn't worth it to put up with this over and over. read more

COVID-19 UPDATE: No Indoor dining (on Oct 2, 2020) This is a great restaurant with good, inexpensive food. Great burgers offered with lots of options. One of the few places offering corn dogs. Nice barbecue sandwich. Great milkshakes! read more

Good service, good food, and clean. We had a complicated order and they did a great job.

They are usually pretty good.. as of lately.. they just keep forgetting stuff. Today I order a huge Dr Pepper and a huge Arnold Palmer (half sweet tea and half lemonade) I got two drinks. One pink lemonade and one unsweet tea and didn't even get a Dr Pepper but lately it's constantly stuff like that. I don't know what happened. read more

Recently visited here and went through the drive through and ordered two milkshakes and a large cajan fries. The milkshakes were fair prices at two dollers and where very good! But when we recieved the cajan fries the large seemed like a medium or regular st any other place. Though they were very good I feel it should of been a bigger fry to be an large. read more

Employees are always rude. No greeting when at the drive thru window and always a problem to ask for condiments. Always rushed when placing order. It always seems like a problem when ordering. Attitudes from employees SUCK. read more

They don't give you what you ordered pretty much ever .... and the trays are their way of giving you less of the food than if you ordered individually. Not worth the money at all. read more

Cook Out Style Burger is the best!!! The onion rings are perfect and the sweet tea washes everything down perfectly! Order from the value menu and you spend less than you would at a chain restaurant. Double drive thru at the Hwy 17/24 location for speedy service. read more

Apparently it's still covid season at this cookout after 2 years of the lobby still being closed. I refuse to spend my mindset somewhere the staff are to lazy to run the lobby. Do better. Two thumbs down. read more

Customer service at this cook out is atrocious. Hearing from one of your employees to "speak up bit**" while ordering my food is completely unacceptable. Immediately spoke to the manager when we pulled up to the window and all he had to say was "ok". Even if it wasn't directed at me, being able to hear one of the employees speak like that over the intercom is not appropriate. Highly recommend going to the other cook out on western because the employees at the marine blvd one are disrespectful. read more

Quick service and great food. I only tried the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and their fries but they were great. The place was somewhat busy but my food came out instantly. Pulled pork was small, but almost perfect. Chili was very salty on the chili cheese fries. Floor was a little sticky near the soda fountain but all in all, a good experience. read more

This is your go to place if you don't want chain restaurant food and it's after hours and you want to feel super unhealthy. This place has the epidomy of comfort food. Everything is fried in the same oil and guys, let me tell you that it taste like heaven. Their hush puppies are great and so are their shakes. There is something for everyone, I wanted to get the whole menu when I was here. Check em out read more

Went through the drive thru about 8:00 pm on a Sunday night. I was the only person in line. The female taking my order was so mean and rude. I had to repeat my order probably 5-7 times. She was doing it on purpose. She kept saying..I don't understand you . I am american, speak English with no accent. Not even a southern drawl. It was a simple order with no special request. I was exhausted and just released from the hospital after a concussion. I wasn't able to yell my order at the speaker due to head pain, but I could speak normally. I get to the window and she is leaning against the counter with her back to me. She finally turns around and I say I'm sorry you couldn't understand me. She's looking at me like I'm a POS that gave her a hard time when all I did was order. She snatched my card from me runs it, hands it back, slams the window and turns her back to me again leans back on the counter. After about 5 min she hands me my food, I say thank you and she slams the window on me again. I was practically in tears. I know I was ultra sensitive from the concussion and my head was pounding. I was just hungry wanted to eat and go to bed. I have never been back and will never go back. read more

Love me some Cookout. Love the burgers and fries here. The milkshakes are a geat deal with the Tray. Always fast and staff always seem to be excited to serve. Only thing I would like to see is bigger hamburgers, they are that good. Keep up the good work read more

Food is good here. Place is clean, employees are nice and friendly. My favorite is the milkshakes. The milkshakes are really thick and taste good. So far I had the peach cobbler and Oreo shake. I heard the banana pudding milkshake was good, but I never tried it. This place is worth trying if you've never eaten there. Food/combos are very reasonable price. read more

We came through the drive thru and the girl on the headset (Sonsirae) was extremely disrespectful and constantly was rolling her eyes at us and ignoring some of the things we said about our order. She also told our friend that her card was declined and it wasn't because we immediately went to the cookout on Western and it worked perfectly and they were so much nicer and they even said they hear bad things about this location often. We have seen reviews where people that work at this location have wrote down people's credit card information. We called the manager to get a refund. The service was awful and he told us no. That's not good customer service. We will be going to the cook out on Western where they treat their customers better and we will be contacting HR in the morning. read more

Yummy! Fresh food and the price is right a the chicken burger tastes just like Wendy's for the fraction of theorize and TWO sides.!!!

Probably one of my favored fast food places in town;however, this location is lacking. The cleanliness (or lack thereof) is debatable. Tables are never wiped down, drink bar is always a mess, and the restrooms.... forget it! Customer service is a 1 Star. My order was short a portion of chicken nuggets and instead of fixing their mistake, we had to pay ONCE MORE for chicken nuggets if we wanted them. The food is always hot and good, it's just a shame that the atmosphere and staff can't compliment it. read more

I used to love Cook out, and maybe I will again if it is another location, but this one I will never go to again. Recently, a family member of mine was treated very badly by a female employee at the drive-thru. The employee's name we don't know, unfortunately. She snapped that my relative should have paid more attention when placing her order when it was the job of the employee to make sure she heard the order correctly and to be kind and courteous while doing so. Fast food is a job where you can have bad days, but there is still no excuse for bad behavior being kind is as important as being clean in the food industry. No food is worth being disrespected. The relative is 70 years old with ADHD and is shy and soft spoken, so I had to post a review for this family member. Terrible way to treat some of the most vulnerable members of society. I hope this will help someone else avoid the same experience in the future. Advise to avoid this particular Cook Out. read more

I was asked to hold on and waited in the outside line for over 5 mins for someone to take my order while the inside line kept moving. Right after I moved someone else got in the lane and was served! The most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life! read more

Came to this location when I got off work, just looking for food because I work late (11:30pm). The night shift seemed nice at first as I walked them through my order. As I got my food I checked my bag, I realized I was short one corn dog. Which wasn't a big deal. So I proceeded to get back in line to let them know they must have forgotten the second one. The lady now on the inter com has an attitude saying I never ordered the second one (as I'm looking at my receipt) and she said I'd have to pay for it. And I read my whole order back to her and said "just pull forward" super rude and snappy. So by the time I pull up she just said "here" and tossed the bag and closed the window as I was trying to show her the receipt. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Drive up the block where you'll actually get good customer service and correct food. read more
