Never been here before. In town for biz and thought what the hay! Service was outstanding. Smash burgers are legit. The gall and kitchen staff nailed it down with my slightly odd order. I dont eat fries, ketchup based sauces or bread... its a carb thing... they tailored my order precisely and it was delicious... Had to pass on the tallow fries although they sound delicious.. Its a no carb thing. Cool place, sort of a food co-operative with other drinkers and eateries in the building. Thanks to the team down here... The service here is top notch h they are friendly and helpful. There's a menu by register but also up on wall. Whole place has like a street skater vibe with graffiti and skateboards on walls. Food was pretty good. I got regular smash burger son got a fancier one. I ordered Asian poppers which were so good.. fried and topped with an Asian sauce. Son got fries.. we sat in seating area and they brought us out our plates. read more

Well the atmosphere is a little overwhelming, so much in a little area with no direction is a little offish but the smash kitchen is a must try! The service was nothing short of amazing. Now- to the food. The rodeo burger hit every spot i didnt know i had. Its such a strange mix with savory bacon to crispy onions and jalapeños with pickle???!?? It works though!! Def win. I spent some time in pittsburgh and have been missing the Chicago dogs. They have themmmmmmm! WITH THE RIGHT STUFF (minus bun) but sport peppers!!! This place made me wish i had more room in my stomach. It is a little expensive- a burger and dog (no fries) and coke cost me 22$ without tip. BUT worth every penny. Family and I ate dinner here last night. It was very busy with limited seating. A lot of tables reserved in the shared hall area. Despite the volume of customers, service was great. Five burgers, fries, and drinks. Last time I had the classic so I tried The Brooklyn Rodeo with fries. Once our food arrived it was all burger time! The Brooklyn Rodeo was piled high with bacon. The flavors were all there. The smash patties, bacon, cheese, and fresh jalapeños were all there. Definitely have this again. The fries with curry ketchup works well also. I'm sure I'll move around the menu. I'll continue to eat these awesome burgers and eventually the dogs. Recommend giving this place a try. read more

Overall it was good. The parm fries were yummy! Got the weekly special, a kimchi burger, and unfortunately it missed the mark for me. The fried item in the burger was cold, chewy and dense. Very off-putting texture and not what I was expecting. But it was okay. Service was quick. And the communal seating was nice and bright. read more

You order what you want at the counter, sit in the dining area and they bring the food to the table. We waited about 10 minutes. Everything looked great! I had the Brooklyn Rodeo with a side of Parmesan Truffle fries, my wife ordered the class smash burger and ordered a side of jalapeño poppers. Everything looked and tasted great! Bestie and I have had this restaurant on our list to try for a while and after the Jville Christmas Parade was just a good time as any to grab a bite to eat. Love the mural on the wall saying Overruled btw. We walked in the back way and as usual the Biagio building was fun and inviting. The young lady behind the bar was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us her recommendation. I ordered The Classic with Parmesan truffle fries and a Liquid Death (her recommendation) and it came out quickly and perfectly done! The cheese melted into the juicy smashed patties making them gooey and delicious (seriously, best smashed burger I've ever had), pickles were thin sliced and covered the whole burger so you got a piece in every bite, and that house sauce should come on everything!! All in all an amazing burger. Fries were hot, crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside and seasoned well. Liquid death which I had never tried was a good, ice cold, water. Definitely will be back to try another flavor of burger!! read more

Im so happy I found Overruled. The place really pays an homage to Brooklyn which is really cool. The staff is amazing, welcoming and it's one of my favorite places to visit at least once a month. The vibe and ambience is something that keeps me coming back other than the food (I'll get to that in a minute). There's a pretty badass brewery next door that serves a plethora of beers that suit any taste so if you're craving a beer and a burger, this is the spot. Lagers, pilsners, stouts, IPA's. You name it, they got it. The burgers are smash style, and what the menu lacks in size, it certainly makes up in quality. I've been here many times and it's rare that the food is anything but juicy and full of flavor. I'm telling you, straight umami bomb in every bite. Your taste buds won't know what to do. Being a Brooklyn native myself, I always go with the Brooklyn rodeo. The beef tallow fries are my absolute favorite and I could easily go through a whole tray by myself. They serve them with a side of curry fries and let me tell you, the combo WORKS. Shout out to the mastermind behind this menu because he/she absolutely nailed it. So listen, the food is good. It has a lot of flavor. However, my best description of this entire place is hippy-bar-food. So it's fancy, and pricey, but still just burgers. You even get the little metal trays. We waited 35 minutes for three burgers and two hotdogs. That was unexpected. Appetizer came out at the same time as the food. That was tough, since we have three young kids. It's noisy and in a small cement box essentially, with not enough seating. But I get it, they do take out orders for a reason.
