I was SHOCKED when I got home and looked at my food from Zaxby's! As you can see in my picture, a 5 piece boneless bbq chicken wings is nothing but SMALL chicken nuggets! For $6.50. I called the manager and she pretty much laughed on the phone that this is what they have. I asked if they had ran out of the regular barbecue Buffalo wings and she said no this is what to expect for six dollars. I've had McDonald's chicken nuggets before and they are twice as big I would not recommend you wasting your money stopping by Zaxby's. They are not friendly and the food left you very hungry. If you've never tried Zaxby's but love chicken fingers, sandwiches and salads with chicken, you have GOT to try this place! This location has come a long way since I was last here over the summer. I would not keep their coleslaw with my chicken finger platter because the coleslaw always smelled sour/spoiled. So I would double up in the fries in lieu of the coleslaw. However, I forgot about this the other day when I returned for the first time in months. I hesitated about the coleslaw but decided to give it the smell test first. It smelled fine and the cup was cold (unlike before). It was really tasty! I'm glad they have resolved this issue so that I can enjoy a side that isn't deep fried and feel a little better about my meal choice here. Ha! Most of the staff are quite friendly. Today was the first time I've used their app, and when you download the app you're given a free reward for its first use: BOGO chicken sandwich meals. The assistant manager was able to diagnose the issue when it didn't go through the first time, and both she and Christian (working the register) were polite and friendly. It made my visit quite pleasant. The restaurant was clean and fairly vacant at 1:45pm today. The drive-thru moves steadily too. The food was great and the service rocked. First of all the greet was perfect. The young lady taking our order was more helpful than someone working in a 5 star restaurant. If I still ran a business I would cherry pick this girl for sure. She was young but extremely professional. She was training a young lady that also seemed very nice but she was also being trained but she looked like she had potential. They didn't have what I usually ate there, it's been awhile, so the young lady put it together for me, almost the same. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious! The lobby and bathroom was clean. I stopped in here on my way to Orange Beach and was just looking for a quick bite. I was assuming it would be like Raisin' Canes. Well it is but waaaaay better and way more options. I ordered a 4 chicken strip combo which just like Canes comes with fries, slaw, Texas Toast, and a sauce. They have a sauce that is just like Canes that's called Zaxby's sauce. I couldn't help but laugh. I have no idea who copied who because I'm not a huge chicken strip history aficionado. Zaxby's offers a variety of sauces if you would like a different flavor to dip into. I think Zaxby's chicken is much better as their breading is lighter and more seasoned. Zaxby's also has salads and a variety of wings. They have one of those drink machines where you can pick from a billion flavors as well. This location is very clean and has very friendly workers. It's better than Cane's which is the only thing I'll concede is better when it comes to Alabama vs Louisiana. read more

Im upset with the service my friends and I received today at lunch. We pulled up to the drive thru and it took a while for them to respond to us waiting. we told her we had mobile orders and an order to make. We pulled to the window and the woman had her mask down and was rude. We ordered 10 minutes in advance to pulling up and we waited 10 minutes outside the window. She didn't tell us what orders she was giving us. One of us ordered a basket of fries and received just a large fry, even when she payed for a basket. Normally, I LOVE Zaxby's. However, my most recent experience at this location was a little disappointing. I ordered ten fingers, a side salad, and an extra sauce. The fingers were definitely overcooked and way too crunchy and they gave me the wrong sauces. I will say that the salad portion was fairly generous. I'll have to wait until my next road trip to get my Zaxby's fix again! read more

I will never get food from here again! I have gave this location several chances and this is it for me. The chicken tenders taste like they have been fried in burnt fish grease, the fries were cold and the [lightly breaded fried pickles] look and taste like they were refried several times. Nothing fast about this food. Don't attempt to go here if you think you'll be in and out. I sat in line for literally 15 minutes with only one car in front of me. That's ridiculous! Then when I got to the window she didn't even know what I ordered and I had to not only repeat my order but also tell her how much it was! At least the food was good.
