This Zaxby's is easy to get in and out of and has ample parking in their lot. The drive thru can sometimes get pretty backed up around prime meal time so I definitely recommend ordering at the counter even if you need it to go. This location is the same as any other Zaxby's really - Georgia memorabilia on the walls, counter ordering, booths and tables, etc. They have a Coca-Cola freestyle machine with tons of drink choices. Sometimes this line can be longer than the counter one! The staff here aren't overly friendly but not rude either. They give out incorrectly requested sauces frequently and seem more interested in talking with coworkers than necessarily taking your order. The food can get pretty expensive for what it is - especially if you choose a "healthier" option like one of their Zalads. Overall - easy to access and food quality is consistent. I absolutely love their fried white cheddar bites and in a pinch they make great tailgating snacks! read more

For the life of me I cannot believe adults are eating chicken tenders on the regular. With that said, sometimes they can be a guilty pleasure treat. Zazby's has 2 billion locations serving their version which for my palate are just simply way too salty. I don't care for their dipping sauces here either. Anyways -- went there and ordered the Zaxby's club sandwich with fries. Everything came out perfect and I LOVE their Zax Sauce. Went back a few days later for the House salad -- grilled chicken, tomatoes, diced cucumbers, carrots, cheese and fried onions. It comes with Texas toast and its all the way good. I frequent here a lot since I just live right down the road but it doesn't matter when you go always manage to screw up your order, whether it's leaving a sauce behind or getting your order mixed up there's always a reason you have to make your way back inside to get it corrected. Not to mention this is the only Zaxby's and I've heard that closes at nine and requests a drivers license if you're paying with you card. All those things are no issue though, as long as the order is right. I'm serious when I say it's every time. read more

As a fan of Zaxby's this location has to be the WORST every. They never seem to get anything right. I guess the foreshadowing should have been when it took them 18 months to build the building. Before visiting any food place that I haven't been to no matter what part of GA I'm at I check the reviews. I drove to this Zaxbys location with low expectations due to the bad reviews that I read before getting there. Many people have complained of bad customer service or an overcharge, even bad food. But during my experience, the lady at the drive-thru was very nice, attentive and patient. My receipt looked correct and our food tasted great!! Nothing was out of place or missing. I'd give a full five stars but the wait in the drive-thru was longer than usual considering there wasn't much business around or many cars in line. Four Strikes and You are OUT! Like the others have said, I was very excited to see this location open up. The lines were very long the first few weeks after opening so I waited a little bit before I tried it. The first time, I forgave them for the long wait time and the food being so-so. I felt the chicken had no flavor and was a smaller portion than what I remembered from visits at other locations. The lukewarm temp didn't help either. The next time, the soggy, flavorless chicken fingers and long wait made me wish I'd gone elsewhere. Fries? Bleah! Third time I tried a salad to go. Traditionally, a salad is comprised of the leafy green stuff we call LETTUCE with a few toppings and a dressing added. I was shocked to open the box and find a bed of cut up chicken fingers on the smallest layer of lettuce I've ever seen. Had I wanted chicken fingers, that's what I would have ordered. I've seen more lettuce on a chicken sandwich! Don't get me wrong, this was enough food but it was not what anybody would remotely consider a salad by any stretch. I cursed them for me giving them my money again! Meanwhile, the Roswell Road location is out of my way and worth the trip. CRISPY chicken fingers with flavor. Salads - with lettuce! etc. So a good month or two after my third strike, I was hungry and on my way home and craved chicken fingers. Insert head banging. Overpriced, but definitely some of the best tenders you'll find. This place is on my way home from work, so I stop by every now and then to grab one of those tasty sandwiches, but usually it's just an excuse to order one of their delicious shakes. They have some of the best milkshakes you can get at a fast food place. They're thick, creamy, and delicious! When they have the specialty ones, like birthday cake and brownie, you just can't beat them. My only issue is that if I go there with my family of 4, it's a good $40! read more

I like Zaxbys: it's cheap, tasty, and easily accessible. The other night we pulled into the drive-thru, about 30 minutes before closing time; there was still a line about 5-6 cars in front of us. It took approx. 10 minutes for us to get to the pay window - not too bad for being in such a long line. The cashier informed us - after we paid - that since I ordered the 'blackened chicken' as part of my entree, it would take about an extra five minutes, so I should pull off to the side. 30 MINUTES LATER. He finally brings out my food. Thirty minutes for some 'blackened chicken' for a salad. A salad. Not to mention, it was also one of the those salads that was more lettuce than anything. I can't say I dislike Zaxby's, but it's not my favorite. Why load someone down with more carbs than they actually need on a plate? If you order a large meal plate, not only do you get a ton of fries, but you get two big slabs of greasy texas toast with it. I don't care for it, and they always throw it on there even though I tell them to save it for someone who wants it. SLOW service. I know they have only been open a little while but they have a lot of work to do. Waiting 20 mins or longer for fast food is just unacceptable. Their coke machine ran out of most of the drinks. They said they were waiting on their delivery truck to refill it. I waited so long for my food the truck came and the drinks were refilled. Every time I eat here, I leave feeling disgustingly full. Meh. The sweet tea is excellent, but good gravy, a regular drink is so big, I can barely put my hands around it. Perhaps if we lived in a town without many food options, I'd think much more highly of Zaxby's, but with Kaleidiscope right down the road selling non-processed delicious healthy food for much cheaper, I think I will just keep moving on from here forward. This is close by for me and I like to support local businesses. 2 visits and here are the good and bad highlights: Good - food is very good - facilities are clean - pricing is fair Bad - long wait times, 20 minutes first visit, 22 minutes second visit - orders fulfilled incorrectly both times - missing knife/fork both times - restrooms use sensor technology for faucets, these dont work well and are a bad design choice for small kids I am going to wait a year before going back to see if they have ironed out the wrinkles. read more

No one working here has any sense of urgency even when there are multiple cars in the drive thru and multiple customers waiting to put in an order inside. Then once you do put in order in inside you are waiting forever for the food. New management and staff is needed ASAP. This location is very convenient but appears to be poorly managed due to the extremely long wait times and lack of professionalism with the location staff. The line for drive thru is very slow moving many times. I also went I this most recent visit to try and avoid the long time and it was just as slow inside as outside. The staff do not appear very professional and ignored me for several minutes before taking my order finally. None of them appeared as if they wanted to even be at work. The woman was very rude and told us we would have to wait until everyone in the line was served and then she would fix our order, told us we would have to give the chips back, which we offered and did not want in the first place, and had given us the wrong receipt. This review is for the Manager Patricia (pretty sure that's her name). Today I went through drive through and got back to my office to find I didn't have any Zax sauce- which usually wouldn't be too much of an issue except that was the #1 reason I went there for lunch was for the sauce & I was having a TERRIBLE week so that was topping on the cake. I called to complain and she was immediately helpful and tried to figure out what had gone wrong and how. When I got back to the store I was greeted with a friendly smile and she promptly took care of everything even replacing my meal bc it would have been cold when I got back to my office. I worked in full service restaurants for 10 years and just really appreciate her professionalism. I know how tough customers can be-- I was definitely one of them today. And I just wanted to leave this review to say Thank You for turning my day around and I really appreciate it! I hadn't been to a Zaxby's in a long time and I think after my most recent two experiences with this Zaxby's I won't be back for an even longer time. Both visits they messed up my VERY simple order -- a grilled chicken sandwich with Zax sauce ONLY -- no lettuce, tomato, or mayo. During the most recent visit, during pouring rain, they left off the Zax sauce completely, so I was given a dry sandwich which I discovered just a couple of minutes after clearing the drive-thru line. Rather than get back in the drive-thru line, I pulled into a "pull-ahead" space in the parking lot and called the phone number on my receipt. A man answered the phone "Zaxby's" and with his name. I asked if this was the store in Chamblee. He said, "yes." I then proceeded to say that my sandwich got no Zax sauce and I was in pull-ahead space #3 and could I please have someone bring me the Zax sauce? I then heard music, presumably because I was put on hold or something. I waited and then I hung up and called back. Same thing happened again -- after I got two sentences out I would get no response from him even though I was still connected. When this happened the third time, I got out of my car and trudged through the rain. When I got into the store. I asked the woman behind the counter if I could speak to the manager. She totally heard me, never answered, and just turned and went back to what she was doing. (There were no customers at the counter, btw.) I then asked another person behind the counter to speak to the manager. Finally, a guy arrived and I said, "you spoke to me on the phone just now" and he said, "yes." Then, I said, "I kept calling and you would answer and then after I said two sentences, music would start to play or I would just hear restaurant noise." He said, "I didn't talk to you." I pointed out to him that he had just said that we spoke on the phone. I gave up and said, "I had to come in here in the rain because you screwed up my order and then you seem to be having issues talking on the phone. I got the Zax sauce and left. No apologies were issues by this so-called manager. read more
