Fries & Sweet/Spicy & Garlic Buffalo sauces, 07.03.2023.

I'm glad I decided to ride with my friend to get Zaxby's for lunch or I wouldn't have had the chance to engage with Young Myles. He's the uber-cool employee with blinding energy working the drive-thru kiosk. After you place your order you'll get waved by over to pay. Then move on to the pickup window. I'll be back just to see Myles...& perhaps get some more of the seasoned French Fries.

This salad was so delicious but it only came with one egg roll we had to purchase the others ,the advertisement picture shows two but other than that it was good

Grilled chicken salad

Ordered a grilled chicken salad with a fry order plus drink. Service was amazing! Food was ready & they brought it to my table. $10.49 was cost of salad with 2 packets of dressing & it's very large!!! Delish was very clean... floors & tables. I did not go into washroom. Easy to park as outlet by Lowe's. Very spacious plus tables aren't on top of each other. I took a large booth & was very clean & in great condition. Will definitely stop here again!

Boneless wings and things

Football season started last week and I can't lie, I was pretty pumped. This Sunday I woke up played some tennis and got ready for ~7 hours of straight football on @nfl red zone. Something I used to do often in college and I do occasionally now is get the perfect game day food for dinner or lunch a wings and things from @realzaxbys. Why is this the perfect game day food you might be asking... here's why: 1. Wings: ok I'm not a purist, I like boneless wings (just easier to eat lol) the tongue torch sauce here is really tasty, not overly spicy but great flavor on a super crispy nugget (I can acknowledge that's what boneless wings are) 2. Things (aka chicken tenders): chicken tenders here are really good but to me what makes it is the zax sauce I could eat 20 of these easily lol 3. Fries: something about the Zaxby's crinkle fries and the little bit of seasoning they put on them is amazing. Well salted and perfectly crispy dipped in a little bit of ranch these are some of my fav fries in fast food. The only con here is the calories... 1500+ is a lot in one meal lol... make sure you get plenty of exercise or don't eat a whole lot of anything else before you have this meal

Wings N Things

Zaxby's is indeed my go-to spot to fill me up OR cheer me up when I've had a rough day. The Wing N Things Combo really does it for me! I dropped in here after getting my tires done across the street at Discount Tire. This location sits off the intersection of 141 & Peachtree Rd going towards Atlanta. It's a great spot for lunch and to wait if you're having your car worked on at Discount Tire. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. I've been to Zaxby's where they drop by the tables to check on you and are constantly cleaning, and this one wasn't up to par for that which is why i bumped them down a star. They also didn't give me a ton of sauce on my wings, and that is semi-annoying (but my fault for not asking for additional sauce on them). I just assumed because most places give you a nice helping of sauce. My Wings N Things Combo was good, though, and it did what it was supposed to do ... fill me up. I always get asked on Yelp Check-Ins if they have bike parking and this one does, so I could actually say YES for once on that! Certainly not a bad location, and worthy of a typical Zaxby's stop.

Ain't no thang like a chicken wing

I've had quite a few post-workout meals here. Located down the street from LA Fitness in Brookhaven and directly next door to my Discount Tire, it's an easy jog or drive to some deliciously unhealthy chicken and sweet tea. High calorie, chicken craving satiating food with some Christian music quietly brainwashing you from above. Not a bad environment. If only all the employees were as God-fearing. That, or they're having an off day all the time. I can't complain about the service when it's fast food. Food is always on point. I love their wings, especially their Wings and Things combo, including both wings and their fried chicken tenders. YAS. 1000+ calories, here we come. Just like any other Zaxby's, there is plenty of seating. There's always a slight wait for food, but I'd rather it take a while for them to make my food - makes me feel comforted that they aren't just microwaving my food. No complaints here. I don't mind this Brookhaven location of Zaxby's at all.

House Zalad with Fried chicken and toast-worth the calories and pairs well with Sweet Tea
Amy A.

In the past I did not understand many of the reviews for this location because I always had decent experiences. After this visit, I understand why. I typically only run through the drive thru at this location because of it's convenient location to the Brookhaven area. Of course, this is your typical fast food chicken joint, but who doesn't love some southern sweet tea and fried chicken? My service at the drive thru this particular time was disappointing. When I was placing my order the employee either had a challenging time hearing me or was overwhelmed with distractions inside because she asked me to repeat my order several times. At the register she was very polite but seemed overwhelmed. (Maybe they didn't have enough employees?) When I got home, I noticed mistakes in our order. I was charged for extra ranch sauce, which I did not receive upon request. The chicken finger plate meal did not have a piece of toast that comes with the meal. The celery slices for the wings meal were a joke. I'm not sure if they were low on celery or if slicing celery like spaghetti noodles has become the new approach, but either way, I was disappointed on the quality of celery I received. That's one of the best parts about getting wings! Overall, this location has average experiences for me. I hope they have better service and get my order correct next time!

But it wasn't like that at all. I had never been before, even though I've passed it so many times. I finally decided, "Let me just try it." The cashier was really nice and explained how everything worked. I asked her what her favorite salad was, but instead of going with her recommendation, I trusted my instincts and built mine based on the ingredients that stood out to me. I ordered the Polynesian chili mango salad with mint and added grilled shrimp. I wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp, but the salad itself was so good that I still ate the whole thing. The flavors were layered and intentional. Not generic, not bland. I love when salads don't taste like an afterthought. What really impressed me was the hot sauce bar. That blew me. They had multiple hot sauces, and as someone who's basically a hot sauce connoisseur, I appreciate that because different hot sauces pair better with different foods. That detail alone elevated the experience. The space was big, clean, bright, and full of color. It felt fresh. Overall, I was genuinely impressed. I definitely want to go back and try the other salads.

Based on the reviews and pictures I saw I decided to give Three Buddies a try. Three Buddies was easy to find as it sits right on the main road. They have their own parking lot so there is ample parking so once I turned, I hopped into a park and we headed inside. Three Buddies has a simple decor as the design aesthetic is straightforward and leaves the focus on the restaurant name itself. The restaurant was very clean and had a diner style setup with ample seating. Once seated, the waitress approached us with a warm smile and cheerful greeting. She provided us with menus, took our drink order, and allowed us some time to review the menus in full. With a variation of halal items on the menu, Three Buddies had me wanting a little bit of everything. However, I decided to go with a classic approach and get the Chicken Sandwich (fried) with Onion Rings (both well done). Once our order was placed, it was back to the enjoyment of the ambiance as we engaged in our conversation. When our food arrived at the table, the visual presentation was extra enticing. The aroma was captivating and after saying grace, o was ready to eat. Chicken Sandwich: Meaty Perfectly Fried Well Seasoned Fresh Fixins Buttered Bun Crispy Outside - Moist Inside 10/10 Onion Rings: The BOMB Crunchy Tender Onion Well Seasoned Great Homemade Ranch Dip Well Seasoned Huge 10/10 Three Buddies was truly an amazing experience. This is my new hidden gem for date night. I will definitely be back again very soon. This place is low key and fitting for a good meal and relaxed environment. The price point of the food at Three Buddies is perfect as the portions are filling and the food is high quality. Good food. Good service. Good prices. It's an all around great place.

The tacos were American tacos with lots of lettuce and cheese. As far as sides go, I've had tater tots, hush puppies, onion rings, chole chickpea soup, and naan. Same thing, everything is solid but nothing really stood out. The service is good and the ambiance is pretty casual. Would I come here again? Sure. I like the food here.

I went for a very basic breakfast of a toasted everything bagel with butter and cream cheese and a coffee. The bagel was soft yet crunchy and the toppings delicious. Regular drip coffee was good too. But I was out and about early in the morning and decided to stop by here right as they were opening. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. But I definitely had a moment where I had to ask myself if that was a $20 well spent. Bronx Bagel Buggy is a SMALL deli in a middle-American Atlanta neighborhood that might still think it's in NYC. Hate to say it but this is why many southerners are lowkey pissed with the massive migration of northerners down here... I got the Standard (Bacon, Egg, Cheddar) on a rosemary salt bagel. While the bagel was tasty, the inside of the sandwich was not. Limp, soggy bacon. Cheap, McDonald's style egg patty. This sandwich should be $6 at most. The bagel itself was delicious and very well done -- this is clearly where they are putting in the effort and I have no qualms with it. But next time I'd just get the bagel by itself and skip paying more for what felt like not-so-great ingredients. I also got a chai latte with oat milk. Well made, but surely nothing spectacular. Holy cow... $6+ for that, too. Oat milk is an extra $.70. I don't know whether to be disgruntled with the owner or the local/federal taxes that has places charging like this LOL. It honestly just feels excessive, especially for the area it's in (love you Chamblee but I love you especially because you're affordable and not built around pretentiousness). Service was nice and it was clean when I went in. Perhaps the lunch sandwiches are more worth it? I am all here for spending a pretty penny on food but I am lost on this one.

It wasn't busy at the time however, it did pick up throughout the night. It's a small restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating (outdoor is a covered patio with fans and heaters provided). It seems like the restaurant only provides valet parking, but theres not fee. For appetizers, we ordered 'kibbeh nayyeh' which comes with pita bread and a few radishes. I believe the menu said it was going to spicy, but it wasn't. If you're into tartare, it was very good, light and easy to eat. I ordered the saffron sunset margarita which was good and my boyfriend got a mint lemonade- very refreshing with the freshly ground mints! For entrees, we ordered the 'chicken kabab' and 'rosemary & za'atar chicken' paired with basmati rice which they top with sliced almonds. Both entrees were good, but the rosemary & za'atar chicken was the winner of the two! You can really taste the herbs. Lastly, for dessert we shared the baklava. It came with 4 small bite size baklava with a few scoops of ice cream all topped with extra pistachios. I'm a huge fan of baklava and it was a great way to end dinner. I also have to give a shoutout to the waitress we had, Fatima! Since it was our first time there, almost everything we ordered was based off of her recommendation and we didn't regret it. She was kind enough to give us a sample of the honey harissa to pair with the chicken and it was great choice, I highly recommend trying it. We will absolutely come back again! The second I saw it, I didn't care about the price -- I knew I wanted it, so I planned us a date night. When we arrived, there was a birthday party going on, and I asked the maître d' if they were limiting seating because of the event. He didn't quite understand me, so my fiancée just asked for a table for two, and we were seated quickly. The setup was nice, although I'm personally not a fan of pre-set plates and glasses on tables (you never know how long they've been sitting there). Still, our server was fantastic -- attentive, helpful, and made the night smooth. We came for the famous Piraye Kebab Tray. At first, we were looking at the $165 option (Chef Tray + 1 Meze Board + Shepherd Salad + 4 Orders of Piraye Kebab with rice, all baked inside the dough). When we mentioned the price, our server kindly told us about the smaller 2-order option for $85 -- perfect! And let me tell you, Lord above, when I say I would do some things to eat this food again... words cannot describe how incredible it was. It has been three days since, and I'm still thinking about it. I even posted it on my stories, and over 10 people have messaged me asking about it. Chef Tray: Overflowing with juicy, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned rice with chickpeas (I swear it was made with veal stock), and that roasted pepper and cheese-stuffed dough on top -- divine. Meze Board: The hummus was creamy and rich, paired perfectly with fresh pita. Shepherd Salad: Fresh, crisp, and balanced. My only small regret was that our server misunderstood when we asked for the dough crust to-go -- I realized the next day it wasn't packed up. Honestly though, I couldn't even be upset, because the food was just that good. For drinks and dessert: Turkish Coffee - small but strong, beautifully presented with a piece of Turkish delight on the side that was everything I had ever imagined a Turkish sweet to be: chewy, fragrant, and delicately sweet. Künefe - a dream come true! A warm, crunchy pastry with gooey melted cheese inside, topped with sweet syrup and pistachios. It was rich, nutty, and sweet without being overwhelming -- the perfect ending. Turkish Martini - decent, but not nearly as memorable as the food. All together, including tip, it was about $140. For the amount and quality of food, the attentive service, and the one-of-a-kind experience, it was absolutely worth every single cent. Piraye Kitchen isn't just dinner -- it's an experience.
