The bread is makes fresh daily, and the meats are really good. They offer a variety of subs, as most sub spots do. With this location though, the service is much better than some of their other locations. I wanted a #13, but not in the mood for the bread - Which syncs really well with their meats and veggie flavors. I wasn't sure, asked and... Well, they made it happen - all that I normally get on the sub, but in salad combination (even with the mayo incl'd - LOL) I bought it to go, but that didn't take away from how pleased my taste buds were, when digging in. We came to this Jersey Mike's Subs location for lunch today. Parking situation isn't bad. Jersey Mike's is in the Cherokee Plaza Shopping Center, and all of the businesses share a large free parking lot. Jersey Mike's is at eastern end of the shopping center. This is a small shop, with not much seating - maybe enough for 20 people, and with a tight fit for 12 of them, since there isn't much room between 3 tables that seat 4 people each. We stood in line, that the quick and efficient employees kept moving along, and ordered the #13 The Original Italian, and got it in the Giant size, as opposed to the Mini or the Regular. Since we both wanted the same base sandwich, it was less expensive to buy one Giant sandwich versus two Regular sandwiches, when they're basically the same amount of food in total, but with the Giant being about $3 less than two Regulars. This sandwich included provolone cheese, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni, and I had the employee put it on white bread and added lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, oil and vinegar, and salt and pepper. This is a very good sandwich. The bread didn't get soggy while I ate it, in spite of the oil and vinegar and mayo. The only thing that I believe would improve the sandwich taste is if the pepperoni, salami and cappacuolo meats had bolder flavors. They still tasted good, though. I just like bolder flavors. Just an observation: While watching the first employee making our sandwiches, she first started it out as a Giant, so she used the whole loaf, sliced it in half lengthwise, then used the meat slicer to cut the meats in front of us, grabbing each slice of meat so that the only things the sliced meats touched were her glove and the sandwich. Had an unpleasant experience at this location with the limited time pastrami sub. It was like chewing bubblegum. I left a comment, & it wasn't even 24 hours before I received a call from the GM of this location offering a free sub to make up for the mishap. She was so apologetic, kind, & accommodating. It was refreshing to receive great customer service. Came back for a Buffalo Ckn sub, & it was phenomenal. Staff is always so nice & greets you right when you walk through the doors. Every customer that came in while I was having lunch was greeted with so much enthusiasm. The ambiance is also so well-done with Christmas decorations filling the store. Avoid this filthy restaurant and find another. I ordered a #42 Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak sub on Saturday May 18, 2019. After a few bites I noticed the burnt taste and crunchy consistency. I opened the sub to find a thousand pieces of charred flakes. I showed the manager who says he forgot to clean the grill before grilling my food. I was pleasantly surprised this afternoon. I had kind of turned my nose up at eating at Jersey Mike's - main reason being I loathe shredded lettuce, which is why I very rarely eat at any sub place and a number of true sandwich shops. Weird, I know, but hey everyone has quirky likes and dislikes and that's very high up on my list. Today, though, I was in the mood for a sammy and Luke and I had gone to relax on the Starbucks patio in this shopping center. Hmm, I thought, what if I got a sandwich to go and went home to doctor it up? Perfect idea! I went with the club (one of the cold options) and no chips or drink because I had tons of Diet Coke and plenty of sour cream and onion Lays at the house. I decided to add spinach to the ham, turkey, provolone and bacon on white bread and "Grilled Cheese" it up in a pan. It was awesome! I got the mini, for $4 and change and couldn't eat it all if that gives you an idea of size (I think it's a tad smaller than the Subway 6" if I had to guess). Very NPWH and now that I know that I might enjoy their sandwiches after all when I can "customize" one at home (which is around the corner) I just may have to stop by more often. read more

In store customers came in later and left earlier than me, still waiting to fulfill the order. The employee didn't wear a mask. Didn't take off the gloves for checking out cuatomers. I've been a fan of Jersey Mike's for years. The food is always fresh and I never leave hungry eating there. So that's not what this review is about. After recently moving to the area, I am always looking for my go-to restaurants in my neighborhood. Last night, I came to this particular location (for the 3rd time) and John, the GM took my order. He made my sandwich very quickly and gave me very good customer service. Maybe because I was the only customer in the shop, I even got to meet another employee from the back who came all the way around to shake my hand for some reason ;) LOL. After my sandwich was made, I noticed that they had Apple Pay and accidentally "paid too fast" (you know how technology can be) for my food. John offered me chips and a drink even though I just wanted the sandwich. Very nice. Again, maybe because I was the only one there. Bottom line, there are plenty of Jersey Mike's franchise locations around the Atlanta area, but every time I've been in this one, they've always had what I wanted, the location was clean and I was greeted with great customer service. I visit the Jersey Mike's over on Peachtree (on the left side the Kroger shopping center) once every weekend or so. It doesn't have the most high quality meats and cheeses, but it's good for a quick lunch. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful, which is surprising for a chain sub shop. I tend to stick with takeout, as the shop is pretty small and cramped, especially at lunch time. read more

The space is small, not very clean, and the service is pretty slow (especially if you're ordering a grilled sub). Their niche is that they cut the meat in front of you, but it doesn't really add much to the freshness. It only takes away from the service. The cold subs are not very good. I usually stick with the chicken philly or philly cheese steak. But that's just me. For deli stuff, I'd rather make the drive down to Firehouse Subs. read more

Last couple of visits it's become clear management is lacking. Unkempt appearance, just not as clean as it once was. For almost $9.00 for a medium sandwich I would expect more than stale bread. I was suspicious as the counter person seemed to be rummaging through the trays looking for bread. Apparently I received the last piece as the next person in line was told that they were out of white bread...at 2:00pm. Not sure how something like that happens at a sandwich shop. I am not giving Jersey Mike's a one star review because I only had their meatball sub. I feel bad for the people of Jersey if this is their idea of a decent sub. There is a 99.9 percent chance that I will not be giving any more of my hard earn cash to Jersey Mike. The meatball sub was pretty stinking bad. It was soggy and burning hot. I guess it was my fault for not asking them to put less sauce and toast the bread. On top of that, the tables look like they have never been wiped down. LOL.
