I've been eating at this location for the past 4 years now. Every time I go in, the employees are ALWAYS so friendly and welcoming. Today, I went in to try out the new Honey Butter & Bacon Sandwich. From the moment I walked in and stepped up to the front to order, the lady at the cash register gave me a big smile, said good morning and asked what I'd like to eat. When I finished ordering she said, "have a great rest of your day!" Now, if that's not great customer service, I must not know what is then haha My food was ready within 5 minutes even though there was a big line and at least 75% of the restaurant seating was occupied. This location is a smooth running working machine with a big splash of upbeat employees who actually care about their customers! When my order number was called the manager, I believe his name is Ron, asked me to tell him how I enjoyed the sandwich afterwards as it was the first day if it's release. That was very personable of him to ask that of me, because again, it showed that he actually cared about his customer's opinions rather then just getting them in and out of his restaurant. The Honey Butter & Bacon sandwich is personally one of my new favorite chicken sandwiches that Zaxby's has created to date! I loved the sweetness of the honey butter sauce mixed with the flavor of the bacon. Perfect combination in my opinion! I've tried their Southern TLC, Chicken Finger, Kickin Chicken, Nibblers, Zaxby's Club and the Cajun Club Sandwiches. My other favorites are the Kickin Chicken sandwich and the nibblers. I am a loyal customer to this location and eat here at least 3 times a month simply because the staff are very friendly, the wait time for food is quick and the food is always well prepared. Went in to buy 4 $50 gift cards and was told that I had to pay cash, then was shown a sign near the register that said gift cards over $25 must be paid in cash. I then said I'd like to buy 8 $25 gift cards and was told it was limit one $25 gift card. When I pointed out the sign did not specify "limit one", the person helping me said he needed to make a call and ask because he didn't want to lose his job. At that point, I decided this was absurd and not worth it and I took my $200 to another chicken joint down the street and they gladly took it. read more

I came by this location to try the chicken tacos. The service was friendly but the food took awhile but I won't lose sleep over it. Ambiance like every other one in the chain is comfy with modern music and classic posters and pics on the wall: Elvis, muscle cars, sports, etc. As for the new chicken tacos there are two flavors- chipotle ranch, avocado ranch but. I had the Avacado one. First impression = I like the soft shell and chicken and ranch combo of flavor! So I think this would sell well if not for it does not come in a combo yet. Fries cost extra at the time of this review. Furthermore, they only come in threes which is hard to finish if you're not really hungry. I ordered a 5 piece chicken meal (as opposed to 3 or 4 piece) and i was only given 1 sauce. Of course you can have more of you pay more. However, with inflated menu prices, i already spent over $13. The food was very salty. Stingy /greedy owner or management needs to understand that if competition is generous, then customers will not be inclined to pay a premium price for processed food. read more

I usually don't rate fast food restaurants, but the staff at this location deserves kudos. I frequent this Zaxby's during the week on my lunch break. The lobby is always clean and the staff has never been anything but accommodating, friendly and attentive. My food is always fresh. This location is across the street from a high school. Even with the teen traffic, it's still always a comfortable, clean and pleasant experience. The times that I have used the drive thru... same. Quick and efficient with fresh, hot food. The food is always fast and tasty! But today as I approached the window an older guy wearing glasses with a clipboard was looking like he had a bad day repeated my order. I had the most horrible experience at this Zaxby's. I love this restaurant but truly I do not recommend this location whatsoever. The manager I believe his name was Zahir treated me horribly and even called the cops on me and my friends who were seeking to redeem a rewards coupon. The experience was horrible. He offered no assistance whatsoever and accused me of holding up the drive thru without giving me the food I paid for. He offered no assistance with the coupon and was horribly aggressive. I do not suggest this location as when we left this location and went to another Zaxby's nearby we were treated with patience and kindness and even assistance with our rewards coupon. read more

Good if you need a Zaxby's fix but I'll pass on this location next time. The parking lot was clean as was the inside. It didn't take long to order nor get food either. The guy at the counter Marquis needs a mic to be heard. I didn't hear a damn thing he said. He did not repeat back my order and instead looked confused, he swiped my card and handed me the card and receipt back. I checked to make sure the price was correct since I couldn't hear what he said and the register looks like it is from the early 2000s and doesn't have a screen on it. Got my food and the sauce was wrong and had to get that switched... If the guy spoke louder I would have likely heard that he missed my nuclear sauce. The food was basic as the fries were barely seasoned. The chicken tenders were barely breaded, imagine just tossing the them plain into the order to add the brown/tan color and no breading. This is not what I have come to expect from Zaxby's If it was not for the sauce I would have left for some some Jesus chicken. I love Zaxby's... just not this location. My husband and I are visiting from Colorado and we decided to try Zaxby's, as it looked similar to Canes, a restaurant we enjoy back home. The manager at this location took an interest in us since we were from out of state; he was SO NICE! We felt so welcomed and really enjoyed our food! We will be coming back here multiple times before we head back home. This location is extremely clean, the staff is friendly, and the food was hot and out quickly. The drive through is at an easy access there is a gas station across the road. The place is usually never busy. They don't really let you take your time to order with the drive thru. The service is fast. This location is pretty recent to the area still. Got just the right amount of food. As pictured, Boneless wings are just awesome. read more

The NEW OWNER, Ron, was extremely rude. I live in this area and will NOT be eating at this Zaxbys ever again. My mom ordered our family food from the drive thru. The employees handed my mom the food but left off all of our drinks . She did not realize until she made it home. My mom called this Zaxbys right away and they supposedly wrote down her name, number, and receipt information in the system. As a result of her not wanting to drive all the way back they offered a free meal. When I got to Zaxbys and explained everything to get the free meal, Ron (the New Owner) gave a smart reply saying " maybe next time don't drive off without the drinks". The employees job is to have everything ready so that the costumer only worries about paying. It's not our job to remind the employees of their responsibilities. Thank you. read more

An UberEats order is a customer who has already ordered and paid for their food on the app UberEats and A driver was sent to pick up that order. 2nd visit here. First visit was teeth rattling cold, it was a crowded lunch hour so I chalked the temp up to that. Thought we'd try them for dinner, I'm currently sitting here freezing my ever loving arse off. Food is typical Zaxbys, never been crazy about it. I'm not sure which employees the other Yelpers have encountered but I wouldn't say we've interacted with anyone that could b considered friendly. Not really unfriendly either, just bland. Dining area is super cheesy, filled with fake "old" signs. Much like the inside of Cracker Barrel. Are we supposed to think we're siting inside an old country restaurant? Might be nice to throw in a few authentic things for aesthetic purposes. I could probably overcome all of that. I could come in and fill up on the very yummy fried pickles and I'll take ambivalent employees over rude any day. But I can't deal with this temp. It is absolutely freezing. WARNING! No milkshakes! The management at this particular Zaxby's made the idiotic decision to no longer have milkshakes. All the other ones still have milkshakes. I propose that this Zaxby's be required to change the sign on the top of the restaurant to "Zaxby's Chicken but NO MILKSHAKES". Zero for two in going to this place. We love Zaxby's, but this is the only one we have ever been to that was disappointing, and we've experienced this place twice. Not again. The portions we got for the Zax Snak and Zax Meal were small. McDonald's chicken nuggets would have been bigger. The other time we went to this location was a Friday night after a football game at AHS. We left the game around 9p and wanted to swing by Zaxby's for takeout. The place was closed! The sign on the door shows the hours until 11p. I realize if it is not busy they have the right to close early but that early on a Friday night is not a good sign. Typical Zaxbys very clean. Nice free style coca cola machine with tons of different variety. The staff is polite and fast. Perfect for lunch if you're in a hurry. My problem is with the quality of my salad. I ordered a salad with blackened chicken. The chicken was just grilled chicken sprinkled with seasoning. I took it back to the counter, and they sprinkled more seasoning on it as the solution. I don't like the concept of having to pay for sauce after paying a nice bit for the food its self. One small dipping sauce for a couple strips isn't enough. I don't go often and will definitely not drive out of my way to visit. read more
