Their chunky onion rings and sweet beer batter are also a tasty treat that should not be missed. The star of the meal was their bacon cheese burger where they load your burger with so much bacon . You wonder if the other guys were gonna get anything . Love that little fact about their burgers. They do smash the burgers and put them on a buttery bun. Menu changes are very disappointing, not only did they eliminate the BBQ Rodeo Chicken, but all the regular chicken sandwiches are now gone. They have chicken sliders which looked good in the photos, but the chicken itself was tasteless with an odd texture, just a tiny dot of mayo, 1 pickle and even the bun tasted dry. The lack of other burgers/sandwiches is very disappointing. We always enjoyed the onion rings, but they also got rid of the blue cheese dressing which was something we always ordered. It's like Five Guys' cooler brother. They have options from different burgers. They also have chicken tenders, vegetarian options, and milkshakes. My husband likes to get their breakfast burger. I've tried it and it's pretty good. I typically like to get the veggie burger but today I decided to try their BurgerFi Burger. The cashiers are always friendly when we come. TL;DR - manager didn't wash his hands in between touching garbage and touching food surfaces and lost his mind when he was called out on it and said he was God (seriously, he said that!). I observed the manager pressing down the garbage with both ungloved hands in the open trash can right in front of the kitchen window. He then started to move trays in the kitchen window and tried to organize things in the window for the line cooks (including cooked orders). I tried to get his attention a few times but it was loud and I finally had to speak loudly and I told him that I saw him touch the trash and then touch the food area. He immediately got defensive and started yelling at me, accusing me of swearing at him. I had said "Dude, what the hell?" but he wasn't actually upset about the so-called swearing, he was just using that as an excuse to deflect because he was embarrassed that I called him out. Then I asked him for his name and he shouted "God! My name is God!" I was seriously speechless. I called the restaurant later and asked them for manager's name and the lady who answered was nervous and hesitant and said that she didn't know and had to ask. I was put on hold for a minute and then they hung up on me. I called back a couple of times but each time they'd pick up and hang up immediately. I've been coming to this BurgerFi for several years now and I've noticed that the quality has declined (burgers are overcooked and dry, fries are soggy, onion rings are still pretty good, though) and the staff are rude. P.S. Why does their Google entry say that masks are required and staff wear masks when you can see in the pictures that the staff are clearly not wearing masks? UPDATE: Jason T from BurgerFi asked me to contact them using their contact form on their website. However I emailed wecare@burgerfi.com on Jan 3, 2022 and no one ever got back to me. Trash piling over the trash cans and falling on the floor, condiment stations covered in ketchup and liquids, not even to mention the food.. over cooked Patties and oversized toppings just thrown on a bun, falling apart the moment you try and pick it up.. not even to mention the branding and effort put into the buns is not even present. I won't even touch on staff - no one there cares and it's blatantly obvious. This specific BurgerFi is an now extremely poor example of the company when it used to be the one my wife and I would travel to PASSING others.. if I were you I'd make the drive to any other location - at this rate I'd rather eat fast food fake burgers then this place anymore. I reviewed this Burger Fi location four years ago with five stars, elation and regret that I hadn't been there or reviewed this store. It was from that moment that I recommended Burger Fi to anyone looking for a top burger spot. That changed last week. I placed a takeout order in person because online ordering didn't offer the customization I needed for my family. It wasn't a problem (so I thought) ordering in person and waiting. I placed the order, paid, sat, looked over my receipt to only discovered that the employee didn't take my order correctly. Another employee said they couldn't amend my order, so I was awkwardly and quietly encouraged to order more food. So I did. In total, I spent over $80. Then I sat and waited for 38 minutes. I saw food, of which some turned out to be mine, sit in the window for 15 minutes before being bagged up and brought to me. The fries were so cold and greasy that the bag and fallen apart in the larger bag. I expressed how upset I was about it taking so long and drove the 15 minutes home, to only discover that my food was wrong. Four of the 10 items were incorrect. I drove back to the store. An employee at the register apologized and agreed to replace those items and took my order on paper (I wasn't asked to pay or anything). I asked if a gentleman passing through the dining room was the manager and he was. He sat at the table with me as I explained the last hour and a half. He blamed "young, dumb kids" explained that they had "f**ked up" and agreed to personally buy my family's meal on a future visit, if I just tell someone at the register (which I laughed and nodded at). The kicker, this "General Manager", named Shay was so drunk that his eyes were closing as we spoke and he wreaked of alcohol. I reached out to Ron, the owner with no response. 1. This place isn't what it used to be. 2. The food was ok, once it was correct. 3. The operational and customer response was what I'd expect at a drive through fast food restaurant. I won't be back. We attended a Yelp Elite event here a few months back, and I recalled loving this location. I was in the area for a local networking event, and decided to drop by again and test it out. This location is unique, in the fact that it has a really rustic feel to it with the lighting, and family-style seating (think long tables). I really love the vibe of it, as you see more burger joints doing this with their ambiance and atmosphere. The staff are also awesome, and very friendly. Parking can be a little tight at this location. We found out (during the Yelp Elite event) that the owners of this franchise are very invested in the community, and are also active with their patrons. That was another reason why I came back here. I wasn't really a fan of BurgerFi before this, and still not sure if I'd drive out of my way to go to any future locations but that was a major factor for me giving them another try. I always want to support businesses that are invested back into their local community. Here's the good: they have some really good fry options (the salt and vinegar ones are amazing). I did the Parmesan & Herb fries, and those were a nice treat. They also have some custard concretes that are REALLY good. Beer & Wine is an option here, a big thumbs up! You can also find many other dessert options. The Coca-Cola free style machine is always a big plus too. There is also a selection of hot dogs. And the "o"k good: the burger sizes are a little bit on the small side. I get they use fresh ingredients and natural angus beef, but I would love my burger to be bigger. I had the cheeseburger on this trip, and i was just ho hum on it. The cost will keep the tab over $10 for one person, which is a little much. The first time it was the kid's drinks from the kids meals, then it was the milk shake, then the sides AND drinks for the kids meals and then again it was the kids' sides. This most recent time my vegifi burger was overdone and tasted super hard and crunchy on the edges almost burnt. So done with take out here. We may still come once in a while to dine in because we do like the food when we're in a hurry and I like the vegifi burger.
