I may have had a Jersey Mike's sub one other time in my life, maaaany years ago, so I don't really count it because I really don't remember what I thought about my experience. Recently stopped in at this location while running errands in Alpharetta and decided to get this to-go on my way home for my husband and I. Not too busy on a Saturday early afternoon, and the staff was super sweet and helpful as I really didn't know what I was doing. I decided to go with the tuna on a whim because it sounded good at the time, and it was actually pretty tasty! Not too mayo-y which I appreciated a lot, and also not too water-y at the same time. My husband went with one of their chipotle chicken hot subs, and he enjoyed his a lot too! I will say, I feel like they don't offer as many veggies and toppings as other sub shops do, but I was quickly informed to ask for "Mike's Way" which included onions, salt/vinegar, lettuce, and tomato and was the perfect toppings to my sandwich. They also have a really cool and what looks to be brand new digital Pepsi machine for fountain drinks. I wanted to try a cookie, but will have to snag one next time I visit again soon! read more

I've visited various tree lots over the years for my trees, the service always left a lot to be desired. Not Big John's, though!! This lot is located in the Cambridge Square shopping center. I took a chance, visiting later at night. They have Frasier, Douglas, and Scottish pine trees. At the front of the lot, you have wreaths and big red bows on display, as well. Danny was managing the lot solo and did an AMAZING JOB!!! He's so kind and helpful with the tree, and even attached the yes to the stand, while I was there - great for a single gal! Food is ok. Not as good as it was with the last manager. Facility needs to fix the paper towel dispenser in the men's room. I have mentioned this the lady 5 times I have eaten there. I'll likely not come to this location again, but not because of the workers, who are working their butts off, because of their cheap boss who has two workers until noon when a third comes on. I see mixed reviews on their service, I can't really speak to that since I always order on the app ahead of time and it's always there waiting for me. This review is based purely on the food, and the fact that they have a great app that allows me to customize the sub how I want. I've never had any problems and I always customize. I almost exclusively get a Big Kahuna Philly Cheesesteak. I add mayo, lettuce, tomato, and banana peppers. No mushrooms or jalapeños. It's a beautiful sub. I love the roll too, all around it's solid. When I do stray from the Big Kahuna, their cold cut subs are great "Mike's Way". The addition of the oil, spices, etc is exactly how everyone should be making cold subs, when I moved down here from NY I was astonished how hard it was to find a good sub. They still don't serve Chicken Finger Subs which is their only downfall. If they added a CFS to their menu I might even consider franchising my own haha. read more

I love the franchise however this particular location has too many teenagers working here. They need a good lesson on food hygiene and cleanliness. One of the sandwich makers went outside for a moment to do God knows what and re-entered the restaurant without washing his hands. He wiped his snotty nose first and then put on a pair of gloves and proceeded to make another sandwich. I hate to know what else he did prior to me arriving to pick up my sandwiches. Disgusting. Employees should know better working in the food industry. It doesn't do any good to point out impertinences with young people because they do not understand and have not been taught any better at home. Behaviors like this should not go unnoticed. read more

Sadly I'd advise not coming to this location, ever since the manger change it is a disaster. I walked in just now to try and give it one more chance and the place is a wreck, condiments and trash all over the counters, meat looks to be left out on trays exposed in their "fridge" and I literally watched flys landing on customers sandwiches that were waiting to be finished/wrapped. How can anyone think this downfall is acceptable. Be a professional establishment and step up or close. read more

Food is great but today (5/21/23) is the second time in the last month that we ordered via the app, got to the store to pick up our sandwiches and proceeded to wait over THIRTY MINUTES for our sandwiches. Either the app needs to update more accurate pick up times or the store needs to have a better process for juggling in-person orders with online orders. If you don't mind waiting 30+ minutes for your food, you're good. But if you expect to get your food within +/- 5 minutes of the posted time, save your frustration and go somewhere else. read more

This is a shame to write.. I've been coming to this store for years. There used to be a young girl who was the manager and it was ran like a ship.. friendly staff, clean counters, and always welcoming. Well sadly that's changed, new management was probably the most non-friendly people I've meet in a jersey mikes, food prep area was a miss, and you really felt like they didn't want you in their store or to be working. I get we all have bad days, but as some one who's came here for years, I'll simply drive further to another location where I feel my business is wanted and food properly prepared. read more

Used to be a big fan of Jersey Mike's. Been buying subs at the Alpharetta location since they opened. However, that said, the last two trips were complete bombs. Two months ago, ordered a philly cheese steak, and unless you're into steak tartare, it didn't work. Two days ago, 11/16, my wife picked up a #8 Club Sub for me, and it arrived as a turkey provolone. No "applewood smoked bacon," no tomato, and you'd need a gas chromatograph to prove there was any mayo on it. My wife said the two kids manning the counter paid her no attention, and the resulting orders corroborated that. I wouldn't have bothered with this review, if that one sub didn't cost $18. They say one aww sh!t wipes out 1000 attaboys... well, this makes two... Won't be going back... read more

It's not quite often I come to place and receive over the top customer service anymore. I am in town for work and decided on a sandwich for lunch. I originally paid for my order without hitting the add tip button because it's what I'm use to due to treatment. This place and it's employees were over the top today! The manager and the rest of the crew just ignored the guy and then began to use the same work surface and utensils without any sanitation...and then looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they were going to sanitize. A good place to eat some good subs. I have tried their philly sub and roast beef sub and both were satisfying and well made. The service of this particular store is good and fast as far as my experiences are concerned. Generally the issue I have with chain stores like these are that they are redundant for the most part. Jimmy John's, Quiznos, Subway, Jersey Mike's all have the same vibe and flavor going on for the most part. Of course its not a bad thing, but it fails to deliver a mystery and excitement. We waited 30 min for 4 sandwiches, and there was only one other person there. And the other guy there was demanding a refund for his sandwich because it was wrong. He asked for the manager and the manager wouldn't even look up at him until the other employee pointed out who it was. Initially my husband ordered and the manager didn't ask for my order until 5+ min later my husband asked him if I could put in my order too. The person making our sandwich was SO slow and so stingy and meticulous , putting on 3 pieces of banana pepper and so on. I asked for mustard and Mayo 3 times and every time the manager ignored me. The prices are parallel to a Quiznos or Firehouse Subs. I do believe Firehouse has more selections though. Nonetheless, this place was okay--not awesome but not bad as well. I had the Chipotle Cheese Steak. It was super loaded with unhealthy goodness--didn't have to add mayo or anything like that since the sandwich was moist and delicious. I enjoyed the fact that they wrapped my sandwich in foil. So when I got back to my desk, my sandwich was still hot. Masks around chin, touching registers and payment, then touching the sub with same hands, indifferent typicaly teenage attitude. Serving people behind you in line while your sub is sitting there. Last straw was when they looked aghast when I asked they change gloves. Walked out and never looked back. Emailed corporate, typical lukewarm response. Service here sucks ! Even the managers are terrible. Placed an online order and an additional order upon arrival. Said they never received online order even tho I showed the ticket number. Just reopened - and it's great!! I ordered 3 very different subs - and let me tell you - It was worth the wait, while they renovated. Some in line thought I was a little tough, well - in all honestly - the team is new - they just reopened and it was a very busy first day - but I have been waiting for them to re open, and I know what I absolutely need on my sandwich - my Roast Beef & Provolone was Better than any I have ever had - and folks - I'm from Jersey! Fresh delicious bread, the Roast Beef just the right amount of pink and the Provolone.. .well - the seasonings, the pepper spread, V&O, Tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, onion... it was in a word AWESOME! The wait was minimal - they kept the line moving, I only hope everyone had as good experience as I did. No, I don't have stock in JMS, I don't know the owner or any of his staff. But they did a great job for day 1 and I will hope that those who read this post, have a little patience while some learn the process, enjoy their food - and even have a seat! The remodel looks great - very accommodating! This is the best sub shop on the north side! Super clean, great service and friendly people every time I've been there. All of their ingredients are very fresh so it's impossible to go wrong, but my favorite is their Famous Philly. They're also great for events -- it's so easy to pick up subs by the bag for our daughter's swim meets and tennis matches. Love it! read more

I came here because Cuzi's closed =( Well, relocated and it was still under renovations. Smaller restaurant and I felt a little claustrophobic. Sandwich was good. Freshly cut deli meats, good bread. This is in reference to the Alpharetta (Midway) location on Hwy 9. I ordered using the app. Got there about 15 minutes before it was supposed to be ready so I waited in my car. Went inside when the order was supposed to be ready. There were no on-line orders ready although there were 7-8 lined up on the back counter waiting to be filled. The store was packed and only 2 people working, 1 doing all the work making sandwiches and the other seemingly doing nothing other than wrapping them. All of the in-store customers were waited on and served before any of the on-line orders were even attempted to and then only when you stood in line and gave your name did they even begin to make your order. I waited an additional half hour after I got there, which was already a half hour since I ordered. They were severely understaffed and gave no priority at all to the on-line orders. I should rate them 1 star for extremely poor service but gave 2 because the sandwich was actually pretty good. read more

The verdict is out on this location. I have been probably a dozen times. Most of the time I do carry out. I've used their app for take out orders, order in person and eaten a couple times in the restaurant. I'll preface this by saying out of all the sub franchise's JMS is my favorite. I always order the #42 on wheat with Jalapenos. This location never seems to get it right. They mess up the type of bread, forget my jalapenos not enough chipolte sauce. Like I said something seems be missing. Since I'm a loyal JMS fine I only go when I have a craving. I would like to frequent it more but since it's a hit or miss I tend avoid it more than I would like to. read more
