It's a sign of the times that most burger joints now offer a vegetarian option, and BurgerFi does it's part with a very decent Quinoa burger. The burger isa mix of quinoa and 17 vegetables and is made from scratch daily. It is served on a multigrain bun or "green" between lettuce stacks. For this stretch of Windward Parkway vegetarians now have a choice of black bean patty at Smashburger or Chili's or now a VegiFi Quinoa burger at BurgerFi, and I think this new kid on the block will soon be my favorite stop. BurgerFi had gotten many "Best of" awards, primarily from its focus on high quality ingredients. The burgers here, both meat and quinoa are a bit smaller than other places but they also offer double or triple stacks, and a double "Hippie" option for the veggie burgers. The toppings available are good, but basic, and definitely not as exciting as Farmburger's. Prices are high for the product, sometimes quantity is a good thing. Hot Dog variations are also on the menu (No veggie dogs, that would have earned my "fanship" for sure!) Fries are fresh and done well. Onion rings are also available and an order can be split with fires, that's cool! Lots of great desert options, my kids liked the custard, complete with whipped cream and cherry. Beer and wine available. The restaurant is as green as the veggie burger with all the furniture made from recyclables, with 111 coke bottles making up one chair, tables made of cans, as well as family style tables made from reclaimed pallets. Hip lay out, outdoor seating, and one big ass fan, check it out! read more

We attended a Yelp Elite event here a few months back, and I recalled loving this location. I was in the area for a local networking event, and decided to drop by again and test it out. This location is unique, in the fact that it has a really rustic feel to it with the lighting, and family-style seating (think long tables). I really love the vibe of it, as you see more burger joints doing this with their ambiance and atmosphere. The staff are also awesome, and very friendly. Parking can be a little tight at this location. We found out (during the Yelp Elite event) that the owners of this franchise are very invested in the community, and are also active with their patrons. That was another reason why I came back here. I wasn't really a fan of BurgerFi before this, and still not sure if I'd drive out of my way to go to any future locations but that was a major factor for me giving them another try. I always want to support businesses that are invested back into their local community. Here's the good: they have some really good fry options (the salt and vinegar ones are amazing). I did the Parmesan & Herb fries, and those were a nice treat. They also have some custard concretes that are REALLY good. Beer & Wine is an option here, a big thumbs up! You can also find many other dessert options. The Coca-Cola free style machine is always a big plus too. There is also a selection of hot dogs. And the "o"k good: the burger sizes are a little bit on the small side. I get they use fresh ingredients and natural angus beef, but I would love my burger to be bigger. I had the cheeseburger on this trip, and i was just ho hum on it. The cost will keep the tab over $10 for one person, which is a little much. I'd certainly come back to this location, and try out one of their hot dogs. Out of all the BurgerFi locations, I would recommend this one at the top of my list. read more

The last 4 times we've gone to BurgerFi in the last 4 months the service has been subpar. Everytime has been takeout and we place the order online or over the phone. We always get home and some part of the order is missing. The first time it was the kid's drinks from the kids meals, then it was the milk shake, then the sides AND drinks for the kids meals and then again it was the kids' sides. This most recent time my vegifi burger was overdone and tasted super hard and crunchy on the edges almost burnt. So done with take out here. We may still come once in a while to dine in because we do like the food when we're in a hurry and I like the vegifi burger. But the quality and attention to detail has just been terrible lately. read more

This place is really cute. I love the lime green color is Im assuming that it is word play on them providing grass fed meat and bringing organic food items. I had the vegan burger which was actually quite tasty and filling of course I would have added some seasoning to it for flavor. My friend had the fried chicken sandwich and she stated that it was really good. But the best part about my meal was the parmesan herb and garlic fries. Honey my breath was stank but it was so good and it was worth it. read more

Where do I even begin? This place has great burgers, hand-cut fries and not to mention their delicious custard concretes! I came to Burgerfi last night for a great event that was happening there. We were presented with an array of different tastings from both the owners, Ron and his lovely wife. We started with the Cry-Fry which is a onion ring + fry combo and it was massive and delicious at the same time. After the onion rings, it was time to try their Hand-Cut fries. We got a tasting of four of their different Hand-Cut fry versions which were, the Urban Style, Cajun, Chili and Cheese, and their Regular fries. All were great, but two favorites (because I can't choose one) was the Urban and Cajun hand-cut fries. They were both very good and so tasty! Yum yum yum!! After tasting the sides, it was then time to try the BURGERS!!!! Woo hoo!!!!! We got an assortment of four different Burgeri burgers. We started with the Burgerfi Cheeseburger (my all time favorite one!!), the CEO Burger (second favorite), the Breakfast All Day Burger, and the Vegefi Burger Green Style. Now let me explain why the Cheeseburger was my favorite... The Cheeseburger consisted of a Double Natural Angus Burger, Double American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, BurgerFi Sauce and it was mouth watering de-licious!! The burger was cooked just right and was simple yet scrumptious and yummy! The CEO burger was my second favorite and it consisted of a Double Wagyu + Brisket Blend Burger, Homemade Candied Bacon-Tomato Jam, Trufle Aioli, Aged Swiss Cheese. I think it was the combination of the jam and truffle aioli that made this burger also very delicious. Let me not forget the American Kobe Beef, Texas Style hot dog we also got to try (bare in mind, I was so stuffed by this time!!). The hotdog had a hint of a smoker flavor and some spice from the hot sauce. Finally, it was dessert time! For dessert we were presented with three Concretes. The Key Lime, Oh My Chocolate, and the Red Velvet. All were amazing but the Red Velvet was my all time favorite! I can not forget the Chocolate Shake they presented us with as we munched on all the delicious foods we tasted! Overall, I will definitely come back to Burgerfi! This place has amazing burgers, friendly employees, and the owners were very friendly and more than happy to answer any questions we wanted to ask. Way to go Burgerfi, you definitely have a fan in me! Thank you! read more

I ate here for the first time last night and was extremely impressed. This restaurant should be an example for others to follow. First of all, the food was absolutely delicious. I was able to try the Burgerfi Cheeseburger, the CEO, Breakfast All Day Burger and Vegefi Burger green style. They were all amazing, but personally I think the Breakfast All Day was the best. Who doesn't love breakfast and this burger had it all. Natural Angus beef, cheese, bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, hash brown, grilled onions and ketchup all between a perfectly soft potato bun with the Burgerfi logo toasted on the bun for a great look. To go along with the great burgers were several great sides of fries and onion rings. The combo is called a cry (onion rings) + fry. You get fries one of several ways: regular, cajun, urban style, chili & cheese, or salt & vinegar. For me it's a toss up between urban style and Cajun for the best. They were both great in their own way. Last stop on the tasting was the dessert, and even though I was stuffed by this point there is always room for dessert. I tried the chocolate milkshake and found it rich and delicious. Perfect after a burger and fries. They also have several varieties of Concretes as they're called. There was Key Lime Pie, Red Velvet and Chocolate. My favorite was the red velvet, but whether cake or custard I love Red Velvet. You need to come here and try this place out. They make a simple burger and elevate it to a better level. The natural ingredients and eco friendly store make this a great place to support. The restaurant is also very clean, they've maintained a 100% score from the health department since they opened over 3 years ago, and the best part is that they give back to the community. They donate 10 percent of their profits to great causes to help out others in need. Come try it out and you'll definitely love it as much as I did! read more

If your looking for a great burger this is your stop! Using all grass feed beef this spot has it going on. With its simple menu, modern but warm feel to the Rock music to entertain you will enjoy this casual experience. Ample out side seating for those nice evenings also. The double stacked burger selection is diverse with something that should please everyone who gives it a try. The Urban fries are a must try, they smother them is a zesty sauce that I will have to have again. I love the way the hot brand the buns! Huge onion rings that are also hard to pass up. The staff is very friendly and helpful don't be afraid to ask for help choosing which way to indulge. A decent tap beer selection for a burger joint and you can finish off your meal with some soft server ice cream with toppings...nice touch! Give this one a try I think you'll like it for sure. read more

We've been coming here for almost 2 years and the food quality has been very consistent. I usually get a hamburger and my wife gets either a veggie burger or a chicken sandwich. The place has a nice feel to it - casual and lively. Almost all items on the menu are organic. The only thing I don't like are the overpriced drinks and burger toppings. Otherwise, I give this place a thumbs up. read more

Ordered BurgerFi for the first time and the end result was really good - getting to the end was though a little challenging. Their online site was kind of difficult to use with very limited custom options or menu details. With it being our first time we had multiple browsers open to know what we were trying to figure out what came on what burger. We ended up with a beyond burger and my favorite, the CEO. When I arrived for curbside they only had a couple of spots which made it difficult for the staff to know I had arrived. I was about to go inside to pick up the order but saw MANY guests inside without masks and decided against it. I ended up calling and they found me so it was all good. Pretty popular though- even at close. I'd like to go back again post COVID and have the full experience someday without worrying about the rest. read more

Ordered online, went to pick up order and part of it was missing. Unfriendly, Unapologetic staff didn't say a word, had to wait for them to fulfill my cryfry, got home realized sauce was missing for tenders. Burger didn't disappoint was great actually, but took a bite into onion rings and it had onion peel fried into it, kid's chicken tenders were stale, dry and burnt, French fries old. Overall dinner experience was a fail. read more

2/24/18 update: owner reached out to me and offered a complimentary meal for the problems I ran into at my last visit, noted in the review below, with the explanation that they were indeed training a new cashier but that wasn't excusable for the delays I encountered. I took them up on that offer today. The restaurant was super busy on a Saturday (busiest I've ever seen them) but the staff was friendly and the food was tasty! 2/12/18: I've given these guys a much higher review before. But my visit today was the opposite of my previous visits. Monday lunch hour and they only had one register with what seemed like a new employee ringing up the customers. The line built up as it took him over 5 minutes to take one order from a customer and people started leaving because it was taking so long. At one point there were 5 employees behind the counter but no one opened up the other register despite a line that was about to go out the door. When I finally ordered, he couldn't hear me over the loud music of the restaurant and he kept repeating back to me the wrong order and I kept having to yell back to correct him. Not the greatest experience but their food is good read more

I've eaten at this location on two occasions. The first was a little underwhelming because the cashier seemed like he didn't want to be at work. I ordered the Beyond Burger because I was doing my 30 day vegan thing and I'm not faulting BurgerFi but I didn't enjoy the burger. Something about the "vegan" burger didn't sit well with me. I'd had the Impossible burger before and it was great, so I thought the beyond would be similar but it wasn't. So I'll never eat that one again. I hope they drop Beyond and start carrying the Impossible brand. On to the 2nd visit, different cashier, better attitude. This time I was back eating meat so I ordered a BBQ burger and fries. Delicious. Ordered to go and the fries were spilling out the container like 5guys does. I love the fries here though. They have a do it yourself ketchup/ mustard counter so you can sauce it up as much as you need to. Location is kept up well and clean. The parking is a little tight it's next to FedEx but I will be back again. read more

For those who are in Alpharetta but are craving Shake Shack, this is the place to appease your craving, even just a little bit. I had the BurgerFi burger, which consisted of two beef patties, tomato, lettuce, wrapped between two potato buns. There was sauce in the burger that looked like a mix between mayo and ketchup. I also had their hand cut fries that was crisp to perfection. Service wise their store is set up where you order inside and get an order number. After that you can find a table and they will bring out your meal. If you want to make sure you get a space here on a Friday night/ weekend, make sure you come before five. Rush hour dinner can make it hard to find parking and there's a limited amount of outdoor seating. Overall, a great burger for that burger craving. read more

The order taker was unfriendly. The fries weren't fresh and they didn't peel the onions before making the onion rings. I'm a big fan of Burger Fi in general, but you would be better off driving to a different location. read more

I've gotten far superior food at five guys, we were so surprised at how meh the food is here. Boring burger, oh it looked nice, but lacking any real flavor. Cold fries and burgers which waited for the over-cooked onion rings. We ate half of the meal and threw away the rest. Another well rated place that we're not going back too. I'd rate it 1.5 if I could, but still would not recommend it. Disappointed. read more

So I Love this place usually, their food quality is superb. It's like a fancy in n out burger! Which is hard to come by outside of CA. I just can't believe how often they mess up on online orders. We placed a large order yesterday and it was quite expensive. Which is not the issue, but let me give you a breakdown of the mistakes made. Fries- we ordered a family size fry- they gave us a normal large order. 3 of the burgers were missing cheese, 2 missing tomatoes and one was asked for sauce on the side because of food sensitivity. Other orders were asked for sauce on the side as well. NOTHING was done correctly. Online orders are done this way because it breaks down all customizations in an easier way. As a restaurant you're even given more time than an in person order. This is the second time they do this and it's quite frustrating. read more

For my second visit I will update the comparison. Rather than a competitor of Five Guys, I would now place BurgerFi in the same category as Shake Shack - a place for a more upscale burger experience. Second time around I opted to try the onion rings and they were outstanding. I love a good onion ring and the BurgerFi approach is big slices and lightly battered. I didn't love the cheese on my burger (it seemed like a Kraft single) but that's on me for not contemplating asking for a different cheese, and that's not worth dinging a star. Last but not least, service was exceptionally friendly and warm; it didn't seem like employees were reading from a script, but actually were happy to have me as a guest. read more

I worked here for multiple months and can give an honest and in depth review that people who eat here once and lose their minds about the service can't give. Pam, James, Tyler, and Blake are the backbone of the entire restaurant. If you have an issue and explain it to them they will treat it like their life's mission to solve it. I understand better then anyone else that sometimes the cashier can look confused and seem like they don't know what they are doing but they have made tremendous strides to fix that with new better, older, and more experienced people. I've worked at other restaurants and the most insane thing I found about Burgerfi that separates them is how genuinely clean and honest the kitchen and food is... The meat isn't just a frozen block there are hours and hours of prepping every day going into branding buns freshly, hand making patties, chopping fresh potatoes into fries, dicing onions, etc. every surface is hand scrubbed and gets cleaned by professionals as well quite often. The wait for your food may be long sometimes but the "fresh to order" side of burgerFI is genuine I can assure that much. If your burger takes 10 minutes longer then what you wait at Five Guys, isn't eating real meat with real toppings and real cooks cooking your food worth that wait? It's not fast food and that's usually a pretty good sign... plus average ticket time even on a busy Saturday is almost always under 10 minutes which is less then what you'd wait at mcdonalds. I no longer work here, live too far to really visit, and found another Job unrelated to food service so I would have no problem with talking bad about the food or staff. However, the staff is genuinely incredible (especially the managers and kitchen guys) and they genuinely care so much about the food and customers which is really rare in food service. They replace the kegs and clean EVERYTHING everyday so ask Blake which beer he recommends and he will tell you everything about each one and the history of each company if you really wanted to know lol.. BurgerFI is like if you took the southern hospitality of a small town bed and breakfast, the decor of a modern home in Colorado, and the food of a meal you'd cook fresh on a farm all dropped into the middle of busy Alpharetta. If you had a bad experience with BurgerFI in the past, go back and try it again, they find new ways to improve everyday. read more

Was recent we by my hotel, I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries, realized the fries were an extra $4.50 so I took them back off, waited a reasonable time. I got my food and went back to the hotel next door, opened my sandwich to see a single piece of dry chicken on what looked like a bun from Walmart with "BurgerFi" stamped on it. Went back to the restaurant so they could put the additional toppings on, they slapped half a head of lettuce on there, a tomato, and a single drop of sauce. I got back to my hotel to remove most of the lettuce so I could taste the chicken, (the lettuce had the single drop of sauce so that was gone too), bit into my cold chicken sandwich and it was dry. Putting 2 stars because other people's burgers looked good but unfortunately my visit was a letdown. 5 Guys Burgers and Fries is my recommendation for spending $14 on a burger and fries! read more

BurgerFi is a chain restaurant, but they incorporate some local touches at the Alpharetta location that make it feel more like a single brick-and-mortar venture. They serve an excellent variety of burgers, hot dogs, sides, frozen desserts, wine and beer. It's quite an extensive menu for a burger joint but based on my visit, they could offer a better experience by reducing the sheer number of options and focusing more on execution. The beef burgers are tasty and made with vegetarian fed, hormone/antibiotic-free angus beef. They are seasoned well, but you do not have the option to select a temperature for your patties--they all come out well done. In this respect BurgerFi burgers remind me a lot of Five Guys. However, they offer a much more extensive selection of toppings including sauces, several different cheeses, chili, bacon and eggs. I'm a sucker for a burger topped with a fried egg, so I ordered a double cheeseburger with white cheddar, diced onions and the aforementioned oeuf. The presentation was drool-worthy. Unfortunately the execution failed in one key respect: the fried egg was way overcooked. The yolk was completely solid. That's a huge peeve of mine, especially when I'm paying extra for the add-on. That yolk should ooze down all over the burger when you bite into it. Instead, this egg more closely resembled a McMuffin puck. Such a disappointment. Aside from the egg, the burger was respectable. It was perfectly sized and the beef was flavorful, even though I would prefer to have the option of ordering the patties medium or at least slightly pink. The white cheddar is a great alternative to the standard American on the BurgerFi cheeseburger, but it will cost extra. Speaking of cost, that's another downside to dining here. It's fairly expensive when compared to similar chains like Smashburger or Five Guys. My burger and a fountain drink cost $11 without any side. That's a bit steep, even considering the up-charges for an egg and white cheddar. A single order of fries will set you back an additional ~$3.50. Yikes. One thing that BurgerFi gets right is beer. They have the most extensive line-up of local beers that I've ever seen at a burger spot, by far. At least one offering from Red Hare, Sweetwater, Terrapin and Monday Night Brewing was on tap. Very impressive! It's nice to have the option of ordering a local beer or a glass of wine with your meal. That's something you just can't get at most burger chains. Another unique option is the variety of frozen custard-based dessert options. You can order shakes, floats, cows(!!), sundaes, concretes or regular custards. They will give you a custard sample for free upon request. I tried a sample and this is a really creamy, satisfying dessert option. The space is clean with ample outdoor seating and a couple of communal tables inside, along with several 4-tops. There are two Freestyle Coke machines. Unfortunately the ordering and self service areas are not well marked or divided from the dining area, so there is almost always a line of people snaking around some of the tables. I wouldn't enjoy sitting at those tables because I prefer to eat without a stranger's butt in my face. BurgerFi is unique in that they are offering some products that competitors simply don't have. But from my perspective, that can also be a negative attribute if the restaurant doesn't execute well on all of those products. That's where BurgerFi falls short. It's nice to offer a fried egg topper, but if you overcook the egg then it becomes a huge negative. Local beer options are fantastic but when you charge too much for the standard menu items, it might be difficult for your customers to justify paying extra money for beer and wine. I enjoyed my meal. But with the copious burger choices all around North Atlanta, I won't be rushing back. read more

Amazing, amazing place. Perfect for Alpharetta. I've been living here my whole life and while there are a few good options for good burgers, this is what Alpharetta/ Milton has been waiting for. Five Guys is probably the runner up, but BurgerFi takes the trophy as it offers the same service and quality without dumping buckets of grease on your food. The chain is quickly growing in the US and before long I'm sure they will be popping up everywhere. As an incentive for free custard (its delicious) you can Tweet, Facebook, etc what you think of the food and they will give you a free custard w/ 2 toppings! Its perfect advertising for a company to use social media- Brilliant. My only reservations are the actual burgers. For the price (about $7) it is not very big and won't fill you up. Granted I am a 6'4" guy, but I think most people will agree. Make bigger burgers and this place will literally be a slice of heaven. P.S. Try the bucket of fries if you aren't concerned with your health for the night. It's delicious, but try not to think about the calories =P . read more
