Love the one at South Coast Plaza in Orange County, CA. Lines are long... but for a good reason!

I had a very disappointing experience at Zara in Lenox Mall. I purchased an item and took it home. When I tried it on, the clip on the garment immediately broke. I returned to the store the very next day to explain the situation and request assistance. I spoke with a manager named Alan, who told me that he could not accept the return because the item was no longer in the same condition as when it was sold. He stated that the only thing he could do was provide Zara's customer service phone number. While I understand stores have policies, I was frustrated that there was no effort made to inspect the item for a possible defect or offer any alternative resolution. What made the interaction even more concerning was when I asked for his name. Alan initially refused to provide it and told me he could not give me his name. When I asked to speak with another manager, he claimed there wasn't one available. After he walked me to the front of the store and handed me the customer service number, I later asked another employee for the manager's name. Alan then followed me to the kids' department while I was trying to obtain that information. Ultimately, I learned his name was Alan and that there was another manager there but the entire interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessarily difficult. I left feeling dismissed as a customer and disappointed by the lack of accountability and customer service. I expected a much better experience from Zara, especially when addressing what appeared to be a product defect just one day after purchase. read more

Seems like Mondays are the time to be at zara. Had a return and walked right up. No line. That never happens This locations generally gets good stock but has a bad layout. I don't understand why it is still in the luxury wing at Lenox (or why it takes up so much space there) but why get good product. They sell out fast and otherwise it is a typical American Zara. Always a mess and always busy. But not a bad Zara for America. read more

11-16-24 I came solely to Atlanta to go to Zara. Unfortunately in my new home state of South Carolina we do not have a store. This is the closest to my home. When I asked a security guard in the mall where the store was I was surprised it was so small in comparison to the Aventura Mall location. The good news is even though it is a small store I found quickly everything I needed. While on line I was deciding whether to get a white blouse I saw. Thinking I have one already at home I didn't get it. So once at home I went online and shopped and got an additional three tops. This outing I got two pants and three tops. One of them being a dark purple heavy sweater that I have already worn a million times. I love Zara's fashion as well as price points are so affordable that buying regular price is not an issue. Next trip to Atlanta will go to the Perimeter Mall location. This mall other than Zara and Bloomingdale's had nothing for me. read more

Everyone working here moves in slow motion. It shouldn't take five minutes to ring up two items, bag them, and complete the transaction, but for some reason it does here. Three cashiers were working, about eight people in line, and it took at least 15 minutes to get through them, because all three employees were moving so slowly. Would not recommend, especially if you're trying to get what you want, and get out. read more

Zara at Lenox is always very busy on the weekend. I only go after work during the week. I am an online shopper and in store return person. I like how they have a line for purchases and one for returns. Today I went to the store to find something I saw online and said they had 1 in store in my size, sold out online. This is a needle in the haystack. I spoke with a gentleman at the counter. He contacted stockroom staff to see if they could find it. He kept checking on me. About 20 minutes later he walks towards me with a smile and he had the item. It's a very tiny sweater so my guess is that it was a difficult find. I purchased it and thanked him. I appreciate this type of customer service. Wish I knew his name to give a real shout out. read more

Two. Stars because the selection is really good. They had the size I needed in multiple things, and I appreciate that. However, the young lady that assisted me today with lashes on the top and the bottom was lifeless, and had no personality. I feel like if you don't want to be there there's lots of places that are hiring go there. I would rather order online and will consider it going forward. I give this Zara a 4 stars because of the customer service, specifically shoutout to Joshua! He was simply the sweetest and most helpful to me and my friend. And to be greeted with a smile is always the best. I will say the selection could have been wider and they didn't have a lot of clothes in my size (XS, S) but I was still able to find some gems! Granted we went around 6:30 pm, so they could have wiped through the inventory throughout the day. Regardless, would definitely return and recommend checking out this store! read more

Very poorly run store. Very very slow and long check out lines. I have not seen such an inefficient operation in a very long time. This one takes the cake. Someone should make this a textbook example of how not to run a retail store. Or make this a classic example of ignoring customer pains. When you implement a policy and close the fitting room, you will no doubt have many people taking things home to try, and then bringing them back. This increases returns processing. From register to inventory and back to shelf. But the staff operates in a most nonchalant manner. Ignoring the ever growing checkout line. So much that.. on my second visit... I joined the line as soon as I get in the door, and my wife would then peruse the store. I observe staff, working in the most inefficient way. Picking up on clothing item, and taking it to another area, and back and forth and back and forth. One at a time. And stopping to yak with another floor staff. All while the checkout line continues to grow. I guess at Zara, the staff is too sexy for their retail job. Do yourself a favor, hire a GSU student to do a time and operations efficiency study. The problem is not so much of the local stores, but rather their online department. Shipment has been horrible this year. I have lost my packages twice. Most recently I contacted Zara regarding their failed shipment system (Veho delivery), it's been 1 week post my delivery date and still have not received my shipment. I requested to speak with management after talking to rep Michael, and he stated management was not available via telephone. All I needed was to get this processed cancelled and have my money returned. I am frustrated and would not want to attempt ordering merchandise through them anymore. read more

This place is always pretty busy no matter the day of the week or time. Super cute, trendy and fairly inexpensive clothes. We went on a Saturday morning one time and the line to check out was probably 30-40 min long but on Monday morning maybe 10 min max. Definitely worth checking it out if you are in the area since these stores are pretty hard to find but you can always shop online (or on the app which is way easier than their webpage) read more

The lines are embarrassingly long. Half the people in line have returns because they're unable to use the fitting room, which creates more backlog. The fitting rooms are packed with clothes customers aren't allowed near. I look on at the exact size I needed in an item two feet away from me but was not allowed to purchase. COVID precautions for the dressing rooms are understandable, but several other mall locations have opened theirs' with little issue. read more

Part 2 of my frustrating journey that started with the Perimeter location and their endless hour long lines, inappropriate staff members, with no access to dressing rooms and store in complete disarray now picks up at the Lenox Square location. I specifically arrived ahead of time to beat the insane crowds to anticipate the gate opening promptly @ 11 a.m. as it states on Google and the company's website, has turned into yet another long wait of over an hour and half. Shoutout to the staff that continues to casually stroll by inside and does not bother to explain what time they actually open because it's not what the official hours state. There are literally at least 15 people standing behind me as I type who all, like me are having the same reaction. I will definitely be ordering online for future. Dealing with the Atlanta locations are an ongoing exhausting experience. Shoppers beware when coming here to be prepared for long waits outside and inside. Beautiful clothes and accessories, but this is enough to turn you off. Attention management, please communicate with shoppers and your corporate to update the hours if they do not reflect the times you actually operate. This is absurd! I'm still waiting..... read more

Thanks Zara, for wasting my time and losing my business. Visiting for my birthday weekend, what better idea than to pack light and buy a new outfit for an upscale dinner in the curry right? Well, Zara has other plans. After seeking out Zara in Buckhead in an effort to find something chic and sleek, what I discovered in this location served me bad attitude and tired - way below par. I did however find two shirts that were darkly colored enough to hide and wrinkles left on them from the wire hangers - however, when seeking the dressing room, I was met with resistance in the form of "dressing room is closed" um, the rest of the whole MALL is open where I've tried on outfits, how should I know if these fit or not? "I don't know what tel tell you, it's corporate" K. Thanks for turning away your own business (overpriced off brand polos) & I will complete my purchase at MACYS where the customer service and clothing wasn't as below par. There was a 25 minute checkout line because employees were standing around chatting. The cashier ripped my dress while removing the security tag and told me that it was a small hole so it didn't matter and the store won't discount or refund it. It is Friday, April 30, 2021, 1:23 pm. I waited 10 mins outside before permitted entry. I am now in line for approximately 30 mins waiting to return an item. There are about 20 people ahead of me and 20 people behind me. There are ONLY 4 cashiers working and about 15 floor attendants milling around trying to look busy by touching the racks. By the way, this is the ONLY way that you can distinguish a floor attendant from any other shopper. My one question is, really Zara is this the best representation of your business model? Sad. Very unprofessional staff and poor customer service. I went in to buy some clothes and got profiled that I could possibly steal the clothes so I was disallowed to use the fitting room. when I was dressed properly, I asked the staff at the Footlocker store why I was told that at Zara and they told me because they probably thought I was going to steal and I was with my family. My husband loves to shop the menswear section, and always finds nice items, though I was kind of shocked this last time at some of the cheaper fabrics they had for trousers. The only reason I give 3 and not 5 stars is because of one of the b*tchy sales"men" is always (over a year's worth of visits) incredibly rude to us and this last time literally pushed my 4 year old daughter aside in the dressing area, even though she was keeping to herself. He acts like he's a disenfranchised heir of the Zara company being made to work his way up from the bottom in order to receive his shares, and how dare we ask him any questions or, God forbid, ring us up. read more

The company does a good job of copying designer clothing BUT the customer service (more like customer NO service) is HORRIBLE at the LENOX location. Try calling them...they hang up so you cannot get a human being. Order something on-line and have it shipped to Lenox...you will never receive it and by the time the Corp office gets a response from them it's sold out. Horrible business practices. read more

Today, I had the worst retail experience ever! I will never shop at the Zara at Lenox Mall in Atlanta, Georgia. After working all day on Saturday, I left my job in Midtown Atlanta around 7:15 pm headed to the Zara at Lenox Mall. I needed to purchase a gift card for my best friend's birthday dinner the following day. Zara is one of her favorite stores and you can only purchase their gift cards inside their stores. I attempted to enter the store at 7:45 and the young guy that appeared to be a security guard advised that they were closed. I informed him that their store hours posted were 10:00 am EST till 8:00 pm EST. I still had 15 minutes to make a purchase and I was going straight to their cash register to purchase a gift card. The security guard advised that they didn't sell gift cards at their location. I replied back that I had purchased gift cards from this location on numerous occasions. We went back and forth until he finally allowed me inside the store. Other customers tried entering the store but he repeatedly said we're closed. I stood in line and finally made my purchase of a gift card at 7:55 pm EST. Both cashiers apologized for the security guard's behavior and said he had another encounter earlier with another customer. As I was leaving the store, the security guard tells me that I need to thank him for allowing me to come into their store to make a purchase. His comments and behavior left me in disbelief. Not only will I never shop there again, I'm going to share my experience with others so that they are aware of the type of people they employ. read more
