I also think J Crew for the past few years has go down in quality and I've not liked their collections for the past few year now. Not sure if they're going through a phase or what but I like the J Crew from about 5 years ago when they had classic clothes mixed with trendy pieces. You could buy their classic items and wear it year after year; then every season you would add one or two trendy items to the outfit to keep it current. But lately all they seem to have are trendy pieces and their classic pieces seem to be disappearing....maybe they'll change their ways. As soon as I picked something up, she grabbed it out of my hands to "start me a fitting room." WOW. Then as I continued to look, she became more & more aggressive grabbing things from me to bring to the dressing room. Is j.crew this desperate for sales that they cannot pick up on subtle clues that you don't want to be harassed while shopping? I just walked out. She picked out an awesome Hawaiian style dress for my baby shower and I not only wore it to my baby shower but also after I gave birth and still wear it! So I got my money's worth for sure! This location is great and the group of gals that work there are allllll so friendly. No pushy sales over there! They genuinely care about your shopping experience. It's not like any ol boutique. It's a totally different experience. Cute unique items with a whole lotta personality. I can dig it! Not to mention the sales they have every now and then! Ugh, pray for my bank account :)

Then again, it is not all about me today. Took my friend out for lunch for her birthday and helping her to find a new wallet. We were greeted by the staff and my friend told the staff she was looking for a wallet. By this time, I was busy checking my emails, texts and still managed to check in here on yelp. I know, I am a horrible person. My friend asked me what I thought of the wallet. I looked up and put away my phone. Ok, let's stay away from the phone and concentrate here, I reminded myself. I looked at the wallet, oh my the color was beautiful. It was a beautiful turquoise. Really really pretty!! I told her it was beautiful but I was not sure if that color really goes on a wallet. The associate showed her a few wallets and two were downright hideous. Sorry Fendi!! Then we saw this beautiful purse, the color was stunning. My friend asked the associate what color was that, he said that would be "tangerine". She asked if there was a wallet in that color, he said the wallet with the color closest to that tangerine colored purse was over there. I looked, that was salmon. It was not even close or remotely close. -1 for that. I know, I am nitpicking here but hey colors of tangerine and salmon are poles apart, North and South Pole apart. We thanked the associate and before we left, he gave my friend his name card and told her she could call him if she has any other question or if she prefers, he could call her if there is any new stock coming in. That's one great customer service over here. Never pushy, just being helpful and customer-oriented. Sorry, by this time, think my friend is leaning more towards the wallet at Louis Vuitton. Anyhow, if you find yourself looking for something at Fendi here, do look for Rob. It is not easy to deal with two girls trying to find that "perfect" wallet with that "perfect" color! ;)

I was looking online at Fendi and I viewed the new Men's collection that contained the Bag Bugs collection. I absolutely fell in love to say the least. It was unlike anything I had ever seen and I loved how unique and different it was from anything else. I live in Asheville, NC, so Atlanta, GA is a bit out of my way for the closest Fendi store. I wanted to purchase a Fendi backpack and a Fendi wallet from the Bag Bugs collection. I called ahead and spoke to Xavier, who was so kind to put both of the items I wanted on hold for me until I could drive to Atlanta, GA to the Fendi store. I was quite pleased when I arrived at the Fendi store and I was immediately greeted when I walked in the door by two employees. I was then asked what brought me in and I asked to speak to Xavier. I introduced myself, and he returned with my backpack and wallet. Both were in completely new condition. I was so surprised and excited because he knew exactly what I was talking about on the phone and he got both of the items I wanted correct. I was also pleased that he put both of them on hold. This is a BEAUTIFUL Fendi store and they have quite a large selection and a very welcoming staff. I had to do separate purchases for my backpack and my wallet, and Xavier accommodated my needs. He was so polite and he was so patient. He listened to everything I had to say and I just want to give him a HUGE thumbs up for going above and beyond for me and making my first Fendi purchase my best Fendi purchase! If you come to this Fendi location, be sure to ask for Xavier. This Fendi store has a great inventory, and an amazing staff that will work with you to make sure you are happy. I visited the store in hopes of finding a pair of odd trousers to match a blazer I have…read more 15 minutes into my arrival, I wasn't helped from an associate until I looked around and pretended as if I was lost. When I was finally helped, I told the associate I wanted to try on the trousers that I selected in the changing room. After trying on the pants, they were far too small and I noticed there were three different sizes on the pant labeling. Again, I had to pretend like I was lost to get help about the issue from a separate sales person. To his credit, my sales associate remedied the issue by presenting me with another pair of trousers...with the exact same issue. It was at that moment that I realized all the clothes were missized and mislabeled. Again, I pretended to be lost inside the fitting room as other associates helped their guests, and I was finally helped by my assigned sales associate after an additional 10 minutes had passed by (he even admitted he forgot that I was even in the store)... To top it off, the "in-house tailors" said that they could not even add a hem to the trousers I selected within their store. I've purchased several suits from this SuitSupply location. Sadly, it sounds like I won't be returning.

The staff seems to be centered around customer care . My hubby and I were acknowledged the moment we walked through the door . We signed in at the front counter where we met Clarke . She offered assistance with choosing two suits and she took the measurements for a custom fit . I loved the in-house tailoring. You actually couldn't miss the tailor located directly in window . A great selling point for the company. While hubby tried on a few suits , Clarke offered me something to drink . Which I thought was a nice touch. I won't spoil it for you. You'll have to go check it out ! The boutique layout was really nice. If you can't find a suit there , I don't know what to tell you, because the options were pretty good . I won't know how well they withstand the constant wear until he's had them a while, but they look very nice on after alterations were completed. The lines of communication were awesome by text messages and via email. The parking lot is a bit congested, but it's ample space for the shops in that area . As long as they continue to put customers first, we'll be back .

Chico's is one of my three go-to places when I feel the need for some retail therapy of the clothing kind. As a women's retailer, they carry casual clothing and accessories in-store with a small selection of dressier items - for a larger selection of all their stock, visit their website. Generally speaking, the price points at Chico's are pretty high but they always have a Sale section in the store and you can pick up some real bargains browsing through those racks (blazers for $19!). I normally only shop the sale section but recently decided I needed a few new items for summer and purchased a pair of denim shorts (flattering and comfortable) at full price. Based on the number of times I've already worn them, they're worth the cost. The accessories at Chico's are very trendy, and expensive - chunky rings, necklaces - so I don't often make accessory purchases here, but I have found an occasional fun piece on clearance for less than $20. The Northpoint location is my usual store and I've found the associates to be pleasant and helpful without hovering. They know the inventory and are quick to offer assistance in locating an item in other stores for customers. This store is located along Northpoint Parkway, well away from the mall and associated traffic snarl that it generates. Chico's is near the south end of this strip center with ample parking and easy in/out access at two stop lights. I'm a regular Chico's customer and I give them two thumbs up.
