    Wet burrito (chicken)

Tasty food made to order. Welcoming service. We ordered the wet burrito (chicken) and the pan seared red snapper tacos. Delicious! Support local! Ambiance: bright and colorful. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of free street parking.

We stopped by this restaurant while exploring Vashon. It was WONDERFUL! You order at the front/pay initially and sit down on your own. They have water, utensils, napkins already on the tables. The food was fresh, delicious, and filling. I ordered vegetarian tacos with guacamole. My parents ordered the fajita plates with chicken which they loved. 10/10 recommend.

Love the branding of the comfy chairs!

Quite simply some of the best authentic Mexican food I've had in quite a while. Portion size is generous. Everything was served piping hot. Excellent homemade salsa. The guacamole was fantastic also. We've been back a couple times in less than a week. Service is good too. Love this place!

I've been here two times, had dishes based on two positive reviews and things I love: fajitas, and tacos. Last time I had the fajitas and not only was I completely unimpressed with the flavor, it took 30-40 minutes to get my food. It was a little busy but still, this is a small place. I was apologized to, to be fair. Tonight I got the shrimp tacos and MAN were they amazing. Came a little early in case there was a wait, got my food in 15 minutes and yes it was less busy, too. But damn. Some of the best, most savory and juicy tacos I've ever had.

This Mexican food is the real deal. Exceptional carne asada, skirt steak that was pounded to perfection, still juicy, and so flavorful. And look at this photo of their shrimp tacos! We lived in Texas for decades and had some great Mexican food. This gem of a restaurant on Vashon Island should not be missed.

Food was so good I didn't have time to take a picture I scraped and licked this plate clean Definitely a must when visiting Seattle Prices are good for the quality and the service was very acceptional And was accommodated with my service dog 5/5 10/10 Must visit

Three of the four tacos (I was really hungry and forgot to take a pic before I started eating).

Zamorana is a casual, authentic Mexican restaurant where you can expect real Mexican food and not Tex-Mex or some version of Americanized Mexican. On the day we ate lunch there, the chef was cooking carnitas in a huge pot, manning the griddle as well as running the place taking orders and being a very friendly individual. He happily greeted me, in Spanish, and told me all about the food. The four tacos come in small, street-taco sized tortillas--two per taco-- and heaped with chicken, onions, cilantro, and guacamole. The salsa that came with the totopos (chips) seemed home-made and had just enough spice to make it lively but not overwhelming. This is a great spot for an inexpensive meal. Highly recommend a visit.

The lengua tacos with guacamole are one of my favorite foods. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The food is consistently good.

The cocktails all seem to be named after nautical terms, likely a nod to their island locale. I got the Buoy, which was a tequila-based cocktail with blackberry, Campari, and rosemary. It was quite refreshing. We split the smoked salmon chips and dip, because we both love smoked salmon and Old Bay. This was tasty, but I think a cream cheese dip requires a chip that's sturdier than a potato chip. I ordered the seared ahi and my spouse ordered the burger. We both enjoyed the seared ahi, though I wish it had more of the whipped tahini and harissa. We agreed that the burger was solid, but not the best restaurant burger we've had. We finished with the key lime pie and pot de crème. Recommend both (though maybe avoid the pot de crème if you don't like coffee)!

If you haven't been in a while, go now. We'll definitely be back soon. 5 stars!

Small amount of seating inside - maybe 3-4 booths, 2 tables and 6 seats at the bar, but they have more seating outside which was fully enclosed and heated. We snagged the last table inside and ordered chips and queso to start. Frankly made flour tortilla chips that were thick and crunchy - the perfect vessel for the queso sauce which was perfectly cheesy and delish. For dinner my husband got the Barbadilla and I asked our server if he would recommend the lime-cilantro chicken or chicken tinga for the Calabaza Quesadilla and he recommended the chicken tinga - he did not stead me wrong! Huge portions of meat in the quesadilla - I only ate a third and am having the rest for lunch tomorrow. The two servers could not have been nicer or more helpful and our dinner arrived in record time. We spent $65 for our two entrees, appetizer, a coke and a beer before tip.
