When I was ordering, I noticed he had his hands down his pants and was shifting when he was standing, which i thought was really weird. Trump merchandise everywhere. A weight set too.. Which if he's using that when he's not making burgers is that a food safety hazard? I personally would not want a sweaty old man making my burgers. When i did recieve my burger though, it was so small. And I did notice some small green spots on the patty, probably mold. It was pretty cold he must have had it sitting for couple days or something. I wish I could give this place zero stars. Make food, serve food, and keep the politics out of it! There's political crap all over the walls. I walked in and promptly walked out. Friends of mine came here a few weeks ago and said they were charged double after checking bank statements. Other reviews verify this. Hard pass. Always a treat to get a burger at Perry's! The fries are the bomb! Huge, hot fries that are still hot after a 16-minute drive home. My family and friends enjoys burgers so we had a choice of Perry's and Island Queen down the street. Well, we had both and Island Queen won out. We compared the two burgers and liked Island Queens better. Island Queens burger appeared fresher and seemed to have a better flavor. read more

Pathetic little burgers at Premium prices. Been here twice won't be back. Tiny plain bun, smallest thinnest patty I have ever seen. Small piece of bacon deep fried down to nothing. Fry grease needed changing and fries were over cooked. Cooking area could use a good cleaning. No place to sit, no public restrooms, Cook uses no sanitary precautions. My Granddaughter ordered a burger with a gluten free bun and fries for about 10 dollars. They were out of the buns so they gave her an overcooked meat patty that was the size of a silver dollar and just as thin. they slid it into an envelope and tossed in a small amount of lettuce and cheese. It ended up in the garbage. I don't see any pride involved in the food that is being served to customers. I wonder if there have been any Health Department visits to this place lately? read more

Food is amazing all made by one man, the service was fast for 8 people and the restaurant is decorated beautifully decorated.

I had a double cheese with bacon which was quite tasty. The guy working there is very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with him. Also they got some positive political beliefs that I wish more people had. I'd recommend this place to anyone I know. Hope to stop by again next time I'm on the island. Looking for a yummy no frills, good tasting burger? Try Perry's. It's not gourmet, but it is so good. Throw in a strawberry shake- we did and we were not sorry at all. We did take out this time for dinner with mom, but enjoyed a friendly conversation while we waited. Yum. read more

First and foremost, yes, the politics here are on full blast. There is a chalk board above the counter full of right wing tropes aswell as a bunch of other propaganda lingering throughout the place that might make others uncomfortable. But please don't let that get in the way of you enjoying some of the best burgers on the west coast. Separate the art from the artist. The owner is friendly just as long as you're friendly with him. That being said, seriously, these burgers are second to none. They're the perfect diner style sloppy smash burgers. They are messy so don't expect a clean sophisticated burger because thats not what they are. They're delicious. Another reviewer said it perfectly: Think of a Dicks burger but better. They're better than In-n-Out and neck & neck with 5 Guys in my opinion. Milkshakes are also really good the only weakness you could say this place has is the fries which aren't all that but still good if you just get them with some ketchup. WE GOT SICK!!!!! My friends and I all went here and 3/5 of us got violently ill! The place is TOXIC. I've heard from many other locals who have become ill after eating there. Even worse - after we ate there, I checked & discovered we were charged DOUBLE!!! WTF?!? BEWARE. I went there because I like the American flag decoration - in a patriot and wanted to support. But nothing is worth feeling that sick! DO NOT GO! And tell everyone - my friend had to go to the ER off island to get fluids after throwing up so much. You'd think with such mediocre, "bought from McDonalds" fare, the customer service would be better. Not so! Apparently these burgers are overpriced, but they make up for it with a side of bigotry and anti-science-tinged nationalism. Don't think you can just go in and get food quietly either, the pissy old timer behind the grill will LET YOU KNOW if their signage doesn't give away the game. A full menu of scrumptious items made it hard to choose, but we landed on burgers, fries and shakes. Everything was made fresh while we waited. Really good food. A small little burger shop in the middle of Vashon island. You could blink and drive right by it. But do not do that. Turn into the small parking lot innback. This is a no frills burger place. No beer or wine or gimmicky items. Burgers, hot dogs, fries and a couple other goodies on the menu. Very comfortable environment with seating for around a dozen customers inside and then outdoor seating during the warmer months. The burgers are very tasty and done up right. They are definitely not a monster burger but they will keep stacking the patties higher and higher until you say stop. The fries were crisp on the outside and warm and moist in the inside. Pricing is middle of the road, not super cheap but definitely not expensive. When I come back to Vashon next time I think a stop at Perry's is a must. read more

Perry's Vashon burgers are hands down the best in Washington state, quietly tucked away on Vashon island. (Think Dick's cheeseburgers style but even better, and the same goes with the fries.) Definitely a MUST try if you're an avid burger fan and enjoy off-the-beaten-path "hole in the wall" diners. Juicy, made to order smash burgers are cooked to perfection in full view of you. I could see Perry added some special sauces and subtle dash of spices, which no doubt enhanced the flavor. Yummy! Makes me wish I lived on Vashon so I had easier access to Perry's! Greasy. That's the only word to describe the burgers, they taste like the grill hasn't been cleaned in a long time. If ever from the looks of it and I was left with a waxy film in my mouth that bothered me till I was able to go home and brush my teeth. Came on a Monday and a lot of other places were closed. Menu makes it look decent, but it's literally just one guy running it. Took awhile to get my order, and then awhile for the food. Food was... ehh. I got a double cheese burger and it was tiny, the guy mixed up shake flavors for the two we ordered, and the taste was ok. The burgers at this place were very good (not very big), but good. This is a small burger place on Vashon Island and the parking and seating are limited. Not ideal for large parties. We sat out in the front of the restaurant where they have some picnic tables. The burgers were very good (tasty) however not very big. Some family members purchased a second round of burgers because they were not full. The fries and onion rings were very good (no complaints). The staff were friendly and helpful. I am a fan! Unlike Zombiez across the street which does fancy burgers, soups and awesome deep fried things, Perry's pretty much focuses on burgers and shakes. It's only been on the island for 12 years but it looks like it's been there since the fifties. These are sort of classic drive in burgers, thin patties, these come with or without cheese from 1 to three patties. Bacon is extra. I'd put it somewhere way above Dick's; far less greasy. It's nothing fancy; aside from Zombies there's also The Red Bicycle for fancy burgers. But if you just want a bag of burgers and fries this is the place. read more

Vashon is basically a home away from home for me. Spent some time up here visiting my sister who lives in the island. Decided to come to this burger place randomly. The burger patties are really thin so don't be afraid to get 3 or 4 patties. We also got their fish wich sandwich. It tasted like Golden Arches filet-o-fish. Cute local burger joint. Came for a late lunch and were the only customers. Seinfeld was playing on the TV in the small cafe area and my friend and I both were immediately happy. The menu is super simple. Burger and fries. Burgers come with standard toppings and can include cheese but that's about it. No nonsense. Two double burgers with fries and drinks will run you about $18. It's all made to order so we settled into watch Seinfeld while we waited, funny stuff. The food is served in paper wrappers so you can take it to go or eat it there. We stayed to watch Seinfeld. The burgers are small but really good. Soft bun, juicy patty, tasty cheese. I like how the onions were finely chopped and not too strong. The fries are really good, I ate them all and usually don't! The ranch dressing was not the best, didn't taste homemade. I'd probably stick with ketchup the next time. Otherwise, it was pretty good. Maybe a tad expensive for the portions. And they only take cash. read more
