    Teriyaki combo plate, fries

Pop Pop Bottle Shop is a very cute trendy shop. They have single cans and chilled wine in the fridges on the wall. The corkage fee was pretty steep. The food was okay. We got the teriyaki (gluten free) with the white rice and the Mac salad (not gluten free). Teriyaki was fine it was a little too charred for my liking and a bit dry. The sauce was okay. My friends didn't love the Mac salad. The staff were very friendly! The shop is joint with the ice cream shop and you can walk between the two.

Always such a fun place to stop by when visiting Vashon! It's retro but modern and just cool. It's a fun and casual atmosphere. Local, yummy beers and ciders on tap, as well as in cans. Pretty good selection. Yummy food and snacks, a tad salty, but who cares because it's such a cool and laidback vibe. Island life to the fullest here. Just come and hang out...enjoy a beer and have a salty snack. Then walk over for a sweet treat and some retro arcade games at the Glass Bottle Creamery

Great selection of beers on tap and cans and bottles in the cooler. Good teriyaki food menu but it's really more Hawaiian than teriyaki. Friends staff. Parking is street parking. Bathrooms are unisex.

My friend and I visited Pop Pop Bottle Shop this past weekend and had lunch there. The space is beautiful and had a fun and relaxing vibe. The shop also had a HUGE selection of wine, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge as well as beverages on tap. The food was SO GOOD. I got the deluxe lunch with an egg on top. The chicken was juicy, the salad was refreshing, and the fried crunchy roll had a lot of flavor! I was a little intimidated by the chili crisp oil but it brought it all together! Lastly, the staff (chef and the person behind the counter - should have asked for their names) were so kind. Lovely humans.

Lots of hard-to-find local beers are available here, along with non-alcoholic favorites as well. They have a dozen or so taps going and do wine pours too. Also a decent food menu, making this a great stop for a meal. I was only there to pick up a couple of interesting beers for gifts but would love to come back again.

    Tofu Teriyaki & Amber Wine

Stopped by during the Annual Strawberry Festival. Indoor dining has a very cute atmosphere but the outdoor dining left something to be desired. Apart from the countless canned beverage options in their fridges, there was a decent selection of beers and wines. I tried the Amber Wine, which was fruity, very orange-y, and dry. We also ordered the Tofu Teriyaki, which came with plenty of rice but not much to eat it with. The tofu pieces were well marinated and flavored with scallions and sesame seeds. The coleslaw was refreshing with the teriyaki. I would stop by again and try another wine!

Pop Pop Bottle Shop Pros: Super friendly. Pretty good teriyaki. Large selection of beers and non-alcoholic bevs. Ice cream next door! The Red Bike grossness is gone. Cons: $15.00 for a teriyaki plate. $20.00 for the deluxe plate. No chopsticks. No shoyu. Extremely loud and lots of room reverb. For comparison, think Anthony's Pt. Defiance only 5 times worse. They desperately need acoustic tiles in here. Wear earplugs. Verdict: I'll go back for takeout.

Curried deluxe fries, beneficial brew kombucha, cascade cherry sour, & the baguette sandwich (banh mi) w/ chicken.

Nice casual place for a drink and snack on Vashon. Was pretty busy when we were there, but service was friendly and prompt.

The owners were very welcoming. I had a glass of red wine from Chile that was amazing. I definitely recommend the crab rangoon.

Looks like a cute bottle shop with tables. Aging bros behind the counter. Not dog friendly. Not people friendly.

We came by after happy hour at Anthony's and listened to a live set of great music. The place was packed, but everyone is friendly and was willing to share their table with us. We had a great time and I strongly recommend coming by the Quarterdeck to chill and listen to live music. Can't believe it took me 20 years of living in Seattle to find this place. So, don't repeat my mistake.

Quarterdeck is what I like to call a "come for the vibes, stay for the drinks, eat... somewhere…read moreelse" kind of place. I stopped by while visiting Seattle and while the food situation was a bit chaotic (they had rotating menus because they were out of a few items), I ended up ordering a kimchi-inspired sandwich that I wanted to love...but it just didn't do it for me. Not inedible, maybe a 2/5, but I'd definitely try something else next time. My friend ordered what I think was the Garden Harvest Wrap (a staple on the menu), and that was more of a 3/5. Both dishes were served cold (intentionally), which I think made a difference, I could totally see them being much better if they were warm. Now let's talk about what is worth it: the mimosa flight. SO good. Like dangerously easy to sit there, sip through all of them, and forget any minor food disappointments. But honestly, the real star here is the ambiance. You're right on the water with the most effortless, breezy, coastal energy. Boats drifting by, sun hitting just right, people lingering over drinks--it's giving main character energy in the best way. I found myself wanting to stay way longer than planned and even doing some work while there. This is absolutely a spot I'd come back to, just with a strategy: eat before or after, and come here to sip, sit by the water, and take a little walk on the dock. 5 stars for the vibes alone

Our waitress was really nice but she was running around non-stop doing everything. We had to flag her down a few times. The dishes had good portions. The vodka soda drink I ordered took SO long we figured our server didn't turn in the order bec my partner's drink was served quickly. When we saw the bartender make a drink for themself, REALLY!?! we assumed my order hadn't been turned in, so we ordered one from the bartender. In the end I got a duplicate order. (But were only charged for one. Fair.) We asked for the French burger to be cooked as rare as possible. I joked I liked it to "moooo". It was served medium well. Zero pink. ZERO PINK! All gray. Yuck! Fish and chips were served piping hot, but nothing special. Drive thru window food. My skinny fries were not piping hot so I didn't care for them. The interior was so chilly that the few patrons there left their coats on the entire time. My partner never took off his parka the entire meal. We mentioned the very chilly air to our server upon our arrival, and she said they just bumped up the thermostat before we walked in. They must have a very slow HVAC. The overhead bright LED lights did nothing to create a cozy ambiance. Quite the opposite in fact. I was dear friends w a restaurant owner for many years, and he taught me to check out the restrooms of any new eating establishment first. (Restaurant Owners will often keep the customers restrooms cleaner than the kitchen.). The bathrooms here seemed pretty clean, but my quick peek into the kitchen as I was walking by was appalling, ...grungy doesn't begin to explain what my casual glance saw. A stiff scrub brush and bleach would transform the kitchen. I wasn't snooping, I literally walked past what anyone could see on their way from the restrooms. Lest I forget to mention that the menu I saw online included Reuben sandwiches, ...YUM, and Montecristo sandwiches WHAT MY PARTNER WAS JONESING FOR... and fried chicken.. OUR FAVORITE. Sadly we did not realize until we got there that only the skimpy bar menu is offered at 6 o'clock on a Sunday. So pretty much everything on the menu was "fast food". Frozen food then Deep fried. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT I wanted to like this place, but, alas, I will not be going back. Ever.

It was super cute!! It felt like we were at an outdoor wedding reception. It was just so surprisingly spacious and cozy outside. The pastas were wonderfully delicious. Crispy, salty cubes of guanciale; the veggie broth-infused, perfectly al dente risotto; and the creamy mildness of the mascarpone made for perfect bites of pure yum! And that Caesar salad...sooooo yummy! Each bite was like biting into a cloud of goodness. The soft, freshly grated parm was so delightful. And the lemon zest just put it over the edge!
