I bought a sapphire screen protector for my phone yesterday afternoon from the Kiosk. Eduardo was the salesperson. Eduardo did a great job explaining the screen protector differences along with the prices. Eduardo also explained the life time warranty and return policy. The remainder of the day I carried my phone in my flannel shirt pocket. The following morning I noticed the screen protector had about a 2-inch scratch. I'm not certain how that happened but if the screen was indeed sapphire it didn't appear to offer much protection. My plan was to exchange the sapphire screen protector for another. When I looked at the receipt I noticed the price included a $10 installation charge. As thorough as Eduardo had been he certainly had not mentioned that as he spoke of each. Of course the $10 installation charge is non refundable. I returned the screen protector to Richard. The sapphire screen protector is a poorly designed product and the gall to charge $10 to install a protector is ridiculous. I would've installed myself had I known there was a fee. I will not return to this kiosk nor would I recommend it to any I will not return to this kiosk nor will I recommend their products to anyone. I'd like to update my review of Zaggs. I was contacted by Eucardo. Eduardo apologized for not mentioning the $10 installation fee and said I would be refunded $10 since I had the sapphire screen protector for less then 12-hours. Since I replaced my screen protector 2-days ago, I declined Eduardo's offer to try another screen protector. Given out opinions as consumers sometimes the difference from one business to the next is customer service. In fact customer service has much to do with returning customers. I was not happy 2-days ago when I found out I had been charged an installation fee without being told about it. I think Eduardo did all he could to keep my business as a result of his mistake. I went to this kiosk back in October 2019 to get a screen replacement after my original 6s screen cracked after 3.5 years of use. I don't know the name of the employee who handled the repair, but the service was pretty fast and reasonably priced. However, I would not go back to this kiosk as the quality of the replacement screen wasn't that good. When I used my phone and my finger was resting on the screen, the screen would rapidly scroll up and down a small amount, and the precision of the phone recognizing what I was tapping on the screen was a lot lower than when I had the original Apple screen. Also, the replacement screen cracked a few days ago when I dropped my phone from a couple feet high (May 2020, which is why I thought of writing this review now). I thought I would be fine to continue using the phone even with the cracked screen, but earlier today when I touched the cracked area, a tiny glass splinter lodged itself in my thumb. It wasn't a huge deal, and I was able to remove it easily, but it further lowered my perception of this questionable product. I don't think I'll visit this location again. read more

Contacted this location about a battery replacement on a Huwei Nexus 6P and Jeff S. quickly responded. I showed up the next day and the technician at the kiosk said he has never done a replacement on my unit and was not comfortable doing one. Then told me the person that could do it was located in the DC location, not the Annapolis kiosk. I was informed that if I wanted to get the battery replacement done I would need to go to the DC location. 20 minutes later I happened to pass by the kiosk and the technician stopped me to say that NOW he could do the battery replacement... Great, now I have a Youtube repair expert that wasn't capable of doing the repair 20 minutes earlier offering to take apart my phone/planner/camera (aka most important piece of electronic I own). No Thanks. I appreciate the Lack of Communication in regards to your Annapolis locations ability to do the requested repair. read more

FANTASTIC!!! If you have a cracked screen - go see Richard. I waited for 2 hours at Apple for them to tell me they couldn't fix my cracked screen (it was terrible). Apple said my phone had water damage and they couldn't touch it. So.. I walked down the mall and went to Zagg and spoke with Richard, he said he was 99% sure he could fix it and it would work. He was RIGHT! It took him 20 minutes - and saved me $60 - Apple wanted double. Richard also told me if he couldn't fix it he wouldn't charge me. I brought my Ipad Mini 2 to Eduardo in August for a broken screen repair. I watched him work and was impressed by his confidence and attention to detail. I dropped the Mini on the pavement in January bending the corner and cracking the screen. When I brought it to Eduardo he recommended against repairs stating it would probably be unsuccessful. After discussion he agreed to attempt a repair. An hour later my Ipad was repaired...he straightened the bent case corner and replaced the screen rendering it nearly new! Zagg is the only shop I would consider for cell phone/Ipad screen repair and I would only allow Eduardo to do a repair. read more

I give them 2-stars only because of the change in policy regarding the screen protection. I've patronized them for years buying and referring friends to get their screen protection, and other services done at this location. I will no longer patronize them due to this change of policy saying that if or when my original screen becomes damaged and needs replacing I have to pay an additional $10. This new change or policy should not be applied to someone who's told it's a LIFETIME replacement warranty. read more

However I think the kiosk got bought or something because I was in the mall by the sports store chillin and one guy i hadn't seen before was telling one of the normal guys that he should be getting so many yelp reviews each day. ridiculous. i worked for a company like that and ill tell you the more you push employees to do that the more you get crap reviews. no one wants to be forced to do this. the kiosk was always cool to me though so heres 4/5. read more

I had a front and rear protector installed on my iPad Air in mid-November and was very happy with the service, attention to detail and friendliness of the employee. I'm sorry I don't remember his name. Anyway after 24 hours the protector looked just perfect. So I then started using my Zagg Folio and noticed that the front screen protector was being damaged by it. Today, December 10, I went back to discuss the problem, and Marcus and his manager Ralph were both very helpful and made things right very quickly. So I decided to have a protector installed on my phone too. I've used the Invisishield before and it has always served me well. Got my iPhone screen fixed around June 7th of 2015. It looked great! Around 30 days the screen began to come loose. The mall is a bit out of the way, so my husband took phone in July 5th to have the screen tightened! They wouldn't help us without a receipt and accused us of using another location of their store (our daughter works in the Annapolis mall so I assure you it was this location)! I've been here a couple of times. First time was about a year ago to have a screen on a iPad 3rd generation replaced. The repair was priced well and not too expensive. However, they somehow managed to leave a giant piece of dust on the inside of the screen. If you are OCD about that sort of stuff, best to avoid them! But overall an okay experience. Probably worth about 3.5 stars. Went again today to get a tempered glass screen protector for an iPhone 6S Plus and specifically asked for a GlassLuxe for the 6S Plus. (Which I wasn't sure if they had in stock as I wandered around the kiosk to find one). Anyways, the guy grabs a regular Glass protector, which I notice and ask is that the GlassLuxe and he says no, so I ask him what the difference is. His explanation is that the other one is plastic. I decide to take his word on it, although I'm still a bit skeptical and pay for the price of the screen protector and installation charge ($7 for less than 60 seconds of work, but I guess I'm okay with that as no dust and perfectly aligned, so no worry here if you're OCD!) So I return home to investigate more and of course, the GlassLuxe is what one would expect: made of glass! I'll be returning to the store later today or tomorrow to get the right product (although my guess is they didn't have any in stock, so rather than lose a sale for not having what I wanted, he'd rather lie about the product features to get the sale). Horrible--Buyer beware!!! Stopped in on Saturday while at the mall to get a iphone8 cracked screen repaired. Was told 25 minutes. Picked up phone at 3 and paid for it. As we were walking away, daughter said home button didn't work and Jeff (tech and General Mgr- I now know) had installed home assist on the screen so he knew the button didn't work. We returned to the counter and he said he would fix. Over the course of the next 2 and 1/2 hrs he tried I'm told 7 more screens kept saying the home button wasn't registering. At this point the battery wasn't turning on he stated the lithium battery had frozen and would need to be charged overnight. He was going to have to go on his day off to Columbia and get another screen and would be in Sun at 11 and we would try again. And if that didn't work we would discuss replacement. We left that evening, went home and put phone on charger. It NEVER turned on. Headed back to Mall on Sunday, furious, Jeff was suppose to be at mall at 11. I sent him a text at 10:20 informing him we would be at mall by 11:30 . And status of phone and that it never came on and I think at this point it was time to talk replacement. I said I don't believe he can fix and he needs to make an appt at Apple. He stated his coworker at kiosk made an appt for 1:00. My next conversation with coworker was that I was at the mall it was 11:30 and I was heading to Apple to get their diagnoses. Jeff was still arguing that he could fix and apple was last resort. I was stating I was not wasting more hrs of my day on his screwup. At this point he wouldn't be there till between 12 and 1215. Apple diagnosed the phone and informed me --Jeff broke the logic board or doc connector. The apple tech said more than likely its the logic board as the phone wont turn on. I informed Jeff this and that I wanted my money back. He told me to go to the kiosk and get my money back. Jeff --as a General manager or employee is HORRID, he broke the phone and then had us wait 3 hrs while he made it worse. Then said he'd be there at 11 the next day and never showed up. He Never followed up with us, TERRIBLE customer service. BUYER beware! read more

Shortly after posting this review I was contacted by the regional manager & the manager of this location, both wanting to rectify the situation. I was given a refund even though I did not purchase the screen protector through Zagg. Poor service!....I went here about 2wks (4/27/14) to have a screen protector put on my phone. The guy that was working pulled the backing off of the screen protector so hard that pieces of the backing got stuck to it. He said the protector I bought was defective and zagg guarantees all of their products. Since I had bought the proctor elsewhere he stated he could not give me a refund but he would order me a new one & put it on free of charge. He told me shipments come in every Wednesday & Friday and would call me when it came in. I called last Saturday (5/3/14), was told it wasn't in but that it would be in on Wednesday. I called again today & was told the same thing. I do not think they ever order the screen protector and probably felt that I wouldn't call to follow up. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

I dropped my iPad 2 and cracked the screen - twice. The second time it continued to work, but decided it would be safer to have it replaced. After watching various YouTube videos on doing it myself, I decided to bring it to ZAGG. Brought it in on Sunday morning about 11:30. Wasn't too impressed at first. There was one person attending the kiosk and he was busy picking up a box of parts spilled on the floor. He said he could fix it and it would take 3 hours. I made it back to the mall at 6:00. The iPad was fixed and it looks brand new. The start button was not as responsive as before, but he was able to seat it a little better before I left. Bottom line is that I am very happy with the result. It was expensive - $137.79 with tax, but would not have wanted to do the repair myself. I am impressed that he was able to fix it in the time stated while continuing to service other people by himself. I am reserving the last rating star until I verify that the fix holds up. read more

Edmundo, the tech/assistant manager of the zagg invisible shield shop should be the manager. I been going to this shop for years and each time I let someone other him/Edmundo install my shield I have to run turn to get it corrected. I recently went to have a shield installed on my note 4 edge and the guy who installed said he needed to put tape on it to hold it down. Well I had to go back because the tape didn't hold it down and there were air pockets. I went back and my guy Edmundo was there he replaced it with no tape and it's held up find. If I need a new shield I will call first to make sure Edmundo is there. I live in Bowie, so going to Annapolis mall is not 5 minutes away, but worth the trip only if Edmundo is there. PS: I found out that the guy who uses tape to secure his install is the manager! Go figure... nice guy just a bad install tech... read more

What an amazing experience! I accidentally dropped my iPhone 7 Plus on the sidewalk and then stepped on it yesterday. I went to the Apple Store at Annapolis Mall this evening to have the display replaced. Apple explained that they were on a two hour wait but asked to see the phone to determine the level of damage. I showed him the badly cracked and shattered screen and he said may I remove the screen protector and I said ok. He quickly pulled the film off and said, "your phone is fine it's the screen protector that sustained all the damage, it's a Zagg, take this down to the Zagg kiosk and they will put a new one on". Well, I left Apple in amazement and went to the Zagg store where the gentleman looked at the cracked screen cover and without a single complaint quickly put on a new one. He didn't ask for a receipt, proof or anything, he recognized his product and replaced it with a smile. He was helpful, pleasant and efficient. I was so tickled with the quality of the product and level of service that I handed him my iPad Air and said "please give me the same tough screen protector for this". I was in, out and on my way walking on air! I will recommend this store and products to everyone! read more

Very upset after my iPhone was repaired in the mall by one of the people at the Zagg kiosk. My screen must have been loose or tight & broke w/in 24hr & they want 2 charge me again. Also the day they repaired it they ripped the piece that turns the phone on & off. They said the glass tore it when they took it off but it looked more like a tear. They told me to come back in a week for the part to come in to replace it. So I waited til then to show them the broken screen too and they told me the warranty doesn't cover it. Granted the warranty on the receipt is very vague and has a 14 day warranty and its only been 7 days. read more
