The remodel looks great! If you visited the old place it deserves a second chance. My visit was during the lunch hour so I decided to go with the buffet. The pizza quality probably would have reached a 4 star but the variety during lunch time was limited to two pizzas that were decided in half showcasing 4 of their varieties. ....and they stuck with those same varieties with every new pizza added to the buffet. I was lucky as my favorite, sausage, had a constant place in the buffet. The pizza was always hot in temperature and the ingredients tasted fresh. I knew the original owner and he always raved about the wholewheat thick crust. He was right it is outstanding. The salad bar is pretty sad. Looks fresh but if you want variety head to Hy-Vee. Place is clean and the service is good. Coke products served by fountain. I was disappointed to see the Ms PacMan was out of order. You could spend a hour looking at all the wall hanging. Worth the stop.

Heinz taco and Sour Cream packets?? Browning lettuce?? Seriously??

Despite being enraged with hunger, this pizza had the unique ability to completely redefine what is the absolute worst pizza I have EVER experienced. Apart from being beyond bland, the mess the cheap bulk tortilla chips made as they crumbled into a million pieces all over your eating area will keep you from ever wanting to come back for more. The menu claims the existence of nacho cheese for which I saw no evidence. The bottom line is if you are looking for a stark reminder of what cheap, horrific, elementary school lunch tastes like, Zadeos is your place. Oh and did I forget to mention, you can have a medium of this trash for a mere 20 dollars?! Garbage.

I've had pizza from this place twice now. The first time it was pretty good and the counter guy was super nice. The second time the pizza is really good and the counter guy was pretty....awful. I picked the chow up "to go" both times....this time I left and said to myself "well that's too bad, thought I finally found my pizza place" cause...no. They don't play around with the toppings though. Cheese for days...so good. But man there's like 25 places to get a slice in rochester, maybe don't be a dick? I'll just call next time and be like "is Jeff working?" Cause if he is, I'm taking my happy ass down the road to Casey's. Or Toppers. Or Little Caesars. Or...well you get the idea.

Despite the construction, they are indeed still open. If this was a divey bar, this would be the VIP entrance.

The pizza itself is good. The toppings are not gourmet or fancy. However, the pies are better than any of the local chains (Domino's, Toppers, Pizza Hut) and their two pies on the buffet are tastier than Ci Ci's or Pizza Ranch (they just don't have the variety). The best part of the pies is still the cheese. Same good cheesy pizza as I described in the previous review: I'm basically writing an update for the brand new face-lift that the restaurant received over the past few months. The place really looks great. It has a late 70's, early 80's movie/video game theme. If you haven't been back to Zadoes because of it's prior run-down surroundings, I'd really suggest giving the place a second chance. They even have a new party room in the back for larger groups. The pizza buffet is now open from 11 to 1:30pm every day (even the weekends). Not the biggest selection; it usually has a single-topping sausage and a pepperoni pizza. The salad bar looks ok, but I never go to a pizza buffet for salad. Also, they have BBQ flavored meatballs and frank & beans. Both are unusual for a buffet. The meatballs are tasty, just so strange to see on a pizza buffet. I wish they'd put some of their other appetizers on the buffet. I'd like to try their wings or a few other items on their menu, but I've never ordered them and the buffet would be an easy way to see if they'd be good for take-out. Anyway, the buffet comes with a pop for $7.50. If the buffet isn't your thing you can get two slices to go or to eat in with a pop for a cheaper price. They still don't serve beer or alcohol, not even that horrid 3.2 stuff for when you are desperate for anything. Therefore, Zadeos will pretty much be our convenient pizza lunch buffet or take-out when we want to grab some beer and a movie from Cub next door.

Pizza isn't bad, but for the price, it isn't great either. To their credit, they don't skimp on toppings.

A slice of heavenly cheese pizza.

This is an excellent pizza place with a buffet that includes a salad bar. Nothing fancy, but the pizza is excellent!

Best pizza in town! Their New York style(thick) crust is amazing. Doing lunch hours they have a great pizza and salad buffet.

Great local gem here. I've been eating zadeos for at least fifteen years. Never lets me down. I recommend the premiere on thick crust.

Overall we had a really good experience here, the pizza was very good and tasted great. It's a small footprint, limited seating, probably has 4-5 tables, plus a couple of outside tables, and bench seating along the windows. If you are a new customer you can join their rewards program and get 10% off your first purchase, so we got the large Chicago Style Pizza with Sausage, Onions, Green Peppers. My dad said the double dough pizza is really good too. They bring the pizza out piping hot in the cardboard box, and it was superb. They don't skimp on the cheese here that's for sure. I would have liked a little more sauce with my pizza. But the taste was superb and quality was very good. Crust was flavorful, you will want to eat it all - maybe dip it in garlic butter or some red sauce. The large was plenty for 3 of us as we had about 3 large slices left over to take home. They do specials here, today was a pasta special but we were set on the pizza which was good enough. I gave them 5-stars because the food was really good and the service was helpful and attentive. I think they could tweak a couple of things to make it better - - for example we wanted ice water but they do not have an ice machine (huh?). So we got lukewarm tap water from their sink. Tasted fine, but I think an ice machine would be nice added touch. I think maybe they want you to buy the bottled water. Also - I think when they serve pizza in-house, they should serve it on a platter, and then when there are leftovers to give the customer the right-sized (smaller) box. We only had 3 pieces left yet had to take the very large box home which doesn't fit in the fridge. Plus it's waste and over utilization. We could have gotten smaller to-go boxes, that way it's a win win for everyone. But overall we were very happy with our meal here. I would definitely come back, and I wish I had more time to try their double dough pizza as my dad said he really likes it. The Chicago Pizza here was really good and it's always good to carb up especially when it gets cold up there in Minnesota

Yesterday she completed her treatments and I took her to Terza to celebrate. Everything was superb - beginning with the spot on attentive wait staff service, very well crafted Negroni cocktail (love that they use Amaro Montenegro over run of the mill Rosso Vermouth), and the crazy good deep fried cheese balls. These were served with the house "Mother Sauce", which is the chef's grandmother's home recipe. My first comment to the staff was that they could close the restaurant and simply sell this sauce in jars at the grocery store and retire - it's that good. On to the main course, mom had the chicken scallopini with house made taglietelle and I had the house made gnocchi. The chicken was pounded thin and tender, breading perfectly seasoned and sauce well. Generous portion served with 4 cutlets and a nice side of pasta. The house made pasta was tender and paired with a really delicious mushroom sauce (I could just have plate of that for dinner and be happy). But the star of the show was the gnocchi. I have had many gnocchi in Italy. I have made many gnocchi at home. If you have had gnocchi you probably know it can be light or it can sit like a rock in your belly. This gnocchi was on another level. It was so delicate and fluffy, and sauteed to give it a nice browned surface. I cannot say enough about what a skilled and delicate hand it takes to make a gnocchi like this. I would drive the 5 hours back to Rochester just to eat this again. We finished our meal with the dessert special. It was a lemon semolina cake with a perfect sugary crust and an incredible whipped vanilla-marscapone cream and blueberry sauce. Umm - can I have another please? I don't know what else to say but if you are NEAR Rochester you should go eat at Terza.
