We LOVED the Urban Legend and the Garlic Cheese Bread - I would highly recommend trying both! We loved the Idaho Sun pizza, definitely our favorite! We loved the flavors of the potatoes on the pizza and it was perfectly cooked. We didn't have any leftovers, so it was perfect for our whole group! Definitely want to come back! My husband and I discovered tildas about 6 months ago. It is now our go to place for pizza. Atmosphere and waitstaff are so welcoming and the building itself is very quaint and nostalgic. Tildas pizzas are the best we have had! Highly recommend the cauliflower crust! read more

We were looking for a good pizza place and definitely found it at Tilda's. The building is super cool and unique, they have parking around the back so you don't have to park on the street and it's relatively close to everything important in Rochester. I ended up getting the Caesar salad and the Bongo Pizza. Caesar salad was amazing. It had the perfect amount of dressing and the Parmesan was delicious. The Bongo pizza was everything I expected and more. I was skeptical of blackberries on pizza but it was seriously one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. We just had take out from Tilda's for the first time and I'm sad to say that it was just good. A little underwhelming based on the price. We expected a bigger pizza for $20. The crust is amazing, and it isn't that the pizza didn't taste good, it did - however, the top didn't seem done enough and it could've used more sauce and cheese. There's a ton of potential here, great location, beautiful interior plus a great patio outside - and we had really great service while waiting at the bar for our order to be ready. $20 for a one size take out pizza that is "woodfire" cooked seems a little overpriced even for being a "downtown" restaurant. If you are paying that much, you would think that the slices would be evenly cut and that the toppings be somewhat evenly spread out. The flavor is definitely there in terms of a balanced sauce and well cooked crust, but the overall value and presentation makes this a try it once and probably not again. There are a handful of other local pizza joints in town that are just a little more bang for your buck. read more

This place was awesome. I flew in from Texas to visit the clinic and was happy to see Tilda's across the street from my hotel. The pizza was so good I ate two of them on the spot. I had a 10" and then a 14" margarita all to my greedy self. The texture was very light and the edges were blistered and crispy, yum. The service was attentive and friendly too. Legit best Caesar salad I've had in a long time, nice hint of anchovy without being overpowering. I'm usually a red sauce guy, but the Bongo was incredible. I looked through the negative reviews that are listed and it appears to be a lot of them are related to delivery and the pandemic. My son and I ignored the reviews and in March we went here anyway. The pizza was not greasy and very good. Service was great. My family returned to Rochester in July and I told them let's give it a shot again. Once again, fantastic. The jalapeño appetizer is amazing. The pizza was a perfect balance of toppings and the crust almost melts in your mouth. Service was quick and friendly. This is not Chuck E Cheese so don't expect to bring toddlers here for a good time. It is a nice restaurant that is family friendly and I will definitely come back. First of all, it's a great space. Secondly, the pizza is good. However, whoever owns this needs to give this place some love. TVs don't work. No full bar. Youve been there for three years evidently. Pony up for a liquor license..! You are surrounded def by people (like myself) that come here because they want to live. Maybe have a drink or two? Nice space, but needs something to entertain your customers other than a robot. I hope you figure it out. And when you do, and you're making a little more money, how about doubling the amount of toppings you put on those pizzas. They're good, and thank the Lord I was that hungry, but they could use it. We are huge Tilda's fans. This is our second trip to Rochester and we have made it a point to have Tilda's pizza both times. We really like a thin crust pizza, cooked in an authentic pizza oven. Tilda's is just that. We always get a hot, crispy pie with plenty of toppings. Service is friendly and the pizza always comes out quickly. Its in a really neat old building on the edge of down town. It gives off a great ambiance and makes for an enjoyable pizza date night. They have a full bar and the beer selection between tap, bottle and can was spot on. We have been to Tilde's multiple times and always had excellent service and pizza. This evening we had one of the worst pizzas ever. We ordered a 14 inch pepperoni. What we ended up with was a crust with no tomato sauce and little cheese with about 2 pepperonis on each piece of crust. The other people we were with had the special which looked excellent. We will try one more time and hope this was just a bad experience. read more
