This pizza is bomb!!! I've always been a Mr Pizza die hard but this pizza was delicious. Meat pizza and veggie pizza. This was the best veggie pizza I've ever had. Def recommend. read more

Great food, clean restaurant, awesome service! First time here and I'm really glad I tried it! Honestly reminds me of home made pizza I've made with the family with a home made crust and good quality toppings! Beer was nice and ice cold and the restaurant is very clean and great staff! Totally would recommend it. read more

Stopped by for a couple frozen pizzas for supper tonight. They did not have their meat combo in the freezer, so the made it for me. 5 minutes later, I left with a large meat combo and medium peperoni for $26... they were great! Quality has been top notch for the 15+ years that I've eaten there. Give them a try! read more

BB's Pizzaria - Pizza Near Me - Rochester, Minnesota

We enjoyed a slice of cheese and pepperoni On first Thursday across from the Mayo Clinic. The employees were friendly and greeted us. The pizza was hot and full of cheese and sauce. The crust was soft and a nice addition to all the toppings. A great little lunch. read more

Really good pizzas fast for guests over the holidays!!! Fast service at the counter when we picked up too.

Guys.... My bf ordered me a pizza while I was next door at the salon (no shame in my hunger game). I don't know how else to stress this, but.... GET THE VEGETARIAN supreme pizza. You will not be disappointed. Side note: I'm a meat eater and not strictly vegetarian. Again, you will NOT be disappointed. read more

The pizza is fair at best . Way too much cheese . The sauce is very unnoticed. The customer service is great the cook even asked if he could open the door on my way out while holding my son . I just wish the pizza wasn't so bland and half the amount of cheese . I have been here at lunch time and had the bacon cheese burger pizza which was the best kind I've eaten here . I will go back but other Pizzerias out favorite this one . read more

Great lunch special! Usually quick service. Good pizza and plenty of parking spots available!

Pizza was very good & very cheesy. Service was very prompt. Especially liked the cheesy stixs Thank you BB's read more

Delicious pizza! Friendly service! We just got a Deluxe and it was SO good. The sauce, the toppings, the cheese! I'll be back.

I am writing on behalf of the Gluten Free community. BB's has to be the best tasting GF pizza in town. They are very careful to make sure they're not using contaminated pans or utensils (I watched them draw a sink of water and clean it separate than the other pans) and the variety of options and toppings is top notch. I have never gotten sick and leave full with some pizza in tow every time we go there. Keep it up guys. read more

Today was my first visit to BB's. I like to judge a new (to me) pizza place by getting a sausage and mushroom pizza. I ordered one to go and waited. When it was ready, the pizza chef handed me the box... and it was HEAVY! This was the weightiest small pizza I've ever had. This was exciting. I got it home and saw the beautiful chunky sliced mushrooms, big sausage pieces and thick, thick mozzarella. Looked great (see photo). Unfortunately, the sauce is like a weak spaghetti sauce. Very bland and didn't lift the flavor of the pizza. I like a good slightly beer-tasting tangy sauce like Red's Savoy in the Cities has... or like Bilotti's used to have. My recommendation to BB's is to find the former owners of that place and buy the recipe. Everything else about this pizza is gorgeous. read more

BB's Pizzaria - a pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Rochester, Minnesota

Hey Rochester food fam! I know it's been awhile since I've made some reviews and I have a lot of places that I have eaten at to cover, so let's get started! BB's Pizzaria I live very close to this establishment and have been eating here for years. Anytime we see a movie at the Chateau Theater, we stop in here. BB's is my second favorite Pizza place in Rochester. I am not a fan of how pizza places nowadays put cheese on the bottom and the ingredients on top of the cheese. BB's is the good old original American way. Abundance of toppings stuffed under that beautiful pull of mozzarella. They have non-pizza items on their menu as well and you really can't go wrong with any of them. I personally love the Nachos. However, the Broasted Chicken and jojo's are the ONLY thing preventing me from giving them a five star. Both were so bland, both times I tried it. Much better places in town for this. BB's please consider removing it from your menu. I digress, BB's Pizzaria is a fantastic establishment and I really love these guys! BB's Pizzaria I write these honest reviews in hopes the Rochester food scene will improve. I think you're doing an amazing job except for the Chicken and you currently have me as a lifelong patron. I wish you the best! read more

I've had BBs delivered via DoorDash twice now during the Covid situation and I'm a fan. I'd give 4.5 stars if possible. I dont want to oversell it with a 5, but friends, it's pretty good stuff. Waaaay better than the chains. Personally, I am gonna have to pass on the garlic cheese bread but maybe that was a delivery thing, like it would be better in shop, nice and crispy? The pizza traveled well both times. I get a thin crust specialty that they were on point with a minor accommodation by doing "light onions". I love the tons of cheese and meat. Sometimes I get regular crust at lunchtime (Pre-COVID) when they have slice specials and it's still like mega toppings. Sauce is just spicy enough to know it's there but not knock my socks off. Leftovers are aces. read more

BB's Pizzaria - I messed up my doordash order (operator error) but this pizza is really frickin good - Pizza Near Me - Rochester, Minnesota

My take out pizza this day was the worst pie I've ever had fresh, frozen, leftover, homemade or any circumstance. It was worse than a policeman's special. I have a gift cert for a free lg and you can have it. We will never repeat this "worst pie of a lifetime" experience. It's as though they couldn't make a crappy'r pizza. Check out these pics. read more

The pizza was very underwhelming, the sauce was nothing more than tomato paste, and the crust was very bland, had the taste of flour. Tombstone frozen pizza is a better option. If your considering BB's, I would highly recommend you consider Domino's. read more

Very delicious pizza and the pizza sticks were great too! The sauce has really good flavor and lots of cheese!! read more

BB's Pizzaria - Very delicious! - Pizza Near Me - Rochester, Minnesota

I really don't know how this place is not a 5-star. Every time I eat here I'm just blown away with the flavors and the quality of product. It's really really good read more

Their food is very bland, hardly any flavor in the pizza and nachos. Their portion sizes are good but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I would probably not order from here again read more

This is a family owned pizza place. They offer MN pizza at its best! All of the ingredients are fresh and high quality, and LOTS of toppings. We order the thin crust and let it rest 5-10 minutes before we start eating it. The owner is wonderful, the staff are great and we love going there! read more

Pros...Lots of parking, plenty of seating, you can see the kitchen area clearly, things look clean, they are pretty quick with the to go orders. I don't know about dine in. I have picked up food each time. Prices are quite reasonable. Cons...the food and service are average at best. Pizza is pretty good. Pizza fries...uh no...I'll make some damn totinos pizza rolls before I go that route again. Quasadilla was average flavor but its a big bugger! And the beefcake cook was nice enough to put the shredded, slightly brown, iceberg lettuce and sour cream/salsa in a separate box...so that was nice. So. If you're in the neighborhood and after some reasonably priced, decent eats, sure. I'll drop by again for a quasadilla maybe, if I'm over that way. But won't make a special trip. Or expect a friendly "hello, how can I help you, or maybe thank you?" But that appears to be rampant in rochester. Definitely not establishment specific. read more

I have had pizzas from a lot of places over the years and this is by far a 1 star joint. We bought the thin and crispy crust with Italian sausage. Brought it home and opened the box and it was swimming in oil and not a lot of cheese. It looked terrible, I was going to bring it back but we had hungry people. So we ate it anyway, but we had to use steak knives to cut the thin an crispy crust. Disgusted, we won't be back. read more

The WORST service ever!!!! The only server "working" was more interested in the guys making pizzas and not interested in the customers at all!! After waiting 20 minutes to order a beer and then waiting another 20 minutes to get the beer, decided to forget about ordering a pizza for fear it would take an hour to get so we went across the street to a place where we know a person can get good service!!! Whoever the server was tonight needs to get some serious customer service training!!! read more

My Favorite Pizza!! The pizza is always hot the beers cold and the atmosphere is awesome! Great place to have a beer pizzaand watch your favorite sports team! We got the special and the cheeseburger pizza and the cheesy garlic bread the bloody Mary's are phenomenal as well! read more

If I could put zero stars, I would. The place was dead despite being next to the movie theater. It should be a gold mine for locations. I got a simple small pepperoni pizza and it was terrible. The dough was under-cooked and the cheese fell off the pizza like it wasn't even part of it. Never again! read more

BB's Pizza has EXCELLENT Vegan pizzas!! I have ordered twice from them and both times, their vegan pizzas were flavorful, and DELICIOUS! Please try their vegan pizzas even if you're not a vegan, they are incredibly delicious! I had my friends who are not vegan try them and they LOVED how savory their vegan pizzas were. They can add toppings such as mushrooms, vegan sausage, etc on the pizzas. Just try it! read more

One of the best pizzas in town. If you don't like this pizza you should prob go pick up a frozen cause you have no Taste buds anyway

My experience was excellent. Our pizza was brought out in good time and was delicious - lots of cheese & great flavor to the sausage. Good service, casual pizzeria atmosphere. Definitely worth a trip to the North side of town or to partner with the nearby movie theatre. read more

I come to Rochester a few times a year to visit my sister and I have to say BB's is definitely a stop I try to make while I'm up there. I'm from Florida and it's not you normal pizza BB's is this thick pizza that is unlike any pizza I've had! Good quality ingredients and tasty my favorite is the Veggie pizza or the sausage and peppers. Great place to bring the kids too they have game for them too! read more

Ordered 3 pizzas: Hawaian, pepperoni & mushroom and a plain. Overall taste was mediocre at best. The pizza was overcooked and cut poorly. The cheese slid right off when pulling from the box. Clearly, that is a sign of a low quality cheese. I honestly think a frozen pizza would have outdone this stuff. read more

Awful pizza that's absolutely smothered in sauce and either underdone or burnt. I've had the plain cheese -- average, and the cheeseburger -- do not subject yourself to this. Do yourself a favor and go to any of the other pizza places in Rochester -- even Domino's and Pizza Hut make this pizza look good. read more

My favorite pizza in Minnesota so far. THE SAUCE. I kid you not.. That sauce is delicious! Any one new in town looking for a slice should give this place a try :) read more

My wife and I were in Rochester house hunting and decided to order pizza one night. Bbs was recommended to us. We had cheese bread, a side salad and pizza with Italian sausage, salami and garlic. The crust tastes pretty much frozen, nothing special. Sauce was decent and sausage was tasty. Salami had zero flavor other than salt and the garlic was pretty mild to. The cheese bread was tasty, essentially cheesy garlic bread, and the salad was fine, fresh with good dressing. I would try another place before ordering them again, but would consider going back. Also, not cheap. read more

Very bland tasting pizza. Not a fan of the cheese or crust. The crust is like a dry breadstick type of texture. Better options out there for pizza by the slice (for lunch.) read more

Always fast and decent fresh toppings. I love to support a local family owned joint. Their pizza is unique but not overly pretentious or hipster crafty. They have a large space that looks great for groups. They have a nice selection of draft beer to go with a tasty pie. We'll done BB's! read more

We ate at the one at University Square at the old ZPizza location. We won't be back. I had never heard of Minnesota Style. If that means what they serve, it means drowned in sauce, smothered in cheese, and toppings that can barely be tasted. The sauce made it impossible to eat without making a mess and tasted like spaghetti sauce from a jar. We got gluten free and they charge 4.50 more for that, and only have small. 33.00 for two, really bad, small pizzas. Sad to give them such a review, but there's nothing good to say. read more

Had very bad experience last night ( 12/16 ) waiter got order wrong and then disappeared . Pizza was very salty and was missing ingredients. People were leaving who had not been served after 15 minutes. read more

Good pizza. Crust is crispy, big chunks of meat, lots of cheese. Reminds me of Waldo's pizza that used to be in Rochester.

Great sauce, lots of toppings, & plenty of cheese! We've had their frozen pizza before & enjoyed them so we decided to dine in. We ordered the pizza sticks & the XL Meat Combo Pan pizza. The stick portion was huge, enough for 4 ppl. The pizza was loaded with 5 kinds of meat. Canadian bacon was cut thick. The American sausage & hamburger looked fresh, not precooked/frozen. Service was great! read more

Really good pizza and great lunch special. For lunch you can get pizza by the slice along with some of the best broasted chicken in town. Mr Pizza North is by far the best pizza in Rochester and BBs is just second best but that broasted chicken during lunch is really something! read more
