Slices removed and this is what remains

the service was absolutely awful and the pizza equally as bad the outside crust of the pizza was burnt and the middle was soggy we will not be back again

When I think of a pizza shop, I think of a place with a wide variety of choices whether it comes to type of pizza (new York, Chicago, Cali style) or the amount of topping I can put on my pizza. I believe this place does just that. Not only does the menu look appetizing itself, but the setting of the shop is perfect, dimmed lights with dark wooden walls. Service was excellent. We got a cheerily middle aged lady who seemed like she had been working hard all day, but she didn't stop working and gave us a big smile. The only problem I had with the place is how the pizza turned out for us, it just seemed kind of gross but something I would still eat - just not on a regular basis. It had a crazy amount of grease sitting on top of the cheese like a pool, and the cheese seemed to shift off of the dough by about an inch. The pizza itself was good, delicious. It just didn't look appetizing at first.

Here for Mayo Clinic and ordered here delivery to hotel X2. Received pizza hot both times. When I ordered I ordered double crust and I'm glad I did. I like thick crust but this places double crust is like a reg crust pizza. This is something you wanna think of when you're ordering from here. Because it would be a pretty sad pizza if you didn't order the double. The first time we ordered we ordered a hot chip burger pizza. It was different and out of curiosity we wanted to check it out. It is really good and very different. I love pickles so this pizza to me it was delicious. But if you don't like pickles don't get the pizza. It basically is a hamburger on a pizza. Delicious. I also ordered the Cobb salad and the salad was excellent. Everything was nice fresh and crisp. The second time we ordered the deluxe pizza and it was basically your basic deluxe pizza it was good. I wouldn't call it excellent but good. Prices were reasonable.

Mashed Potato Pizza on Double Crust. Prime stuff.

I've tried a lot of mashed potato pizzas in my day, but this one took the pie. This pizza joint was recommended to me by my road trip copilot after arriving here from Oregon. He was brought up in Minnesota and had only had good things to say about it. We arrived shortly after 6 and were seated immediately, which was surprising -- the parking lot suggested we'd be waiting at least a moment or two. I was feeling especially sassy, so I ended up making confusing jokes and sarcastic remarks to our wonderful waitress. She kept up, was patient, and tolerated it very well. Sort of like when you are forced to nod your head during a Thanksgiving dinner when your grandpa says some awful joke. We ended up ordering cheesey garlic bread and an order of the mashed potato pizza on double crust. The cheesey bread was pretty good -- nothing to write home about, though. It came out warm, so the cheese was super Nickelodeon-slime-textured, and the flavors were definitely present. You know, all three of them. The pie arrived soon after, topped with green onions, bacon, and chunks of garlicy goodness camouflaged in mashed potatoes. While I normally enjoy eating my pizza by hand, I very willingly accepted a more civilized approach and went at it with a fork and knife. This type of pizza demanded it -- there was too much weight for the crust to handle (aka too much at stake). I feel like a business like this would do really well in a state where recreational pot is legal. But, regardless, I had a wonderful time and the food was fun and very tastey. Hopefully I'll be back to try it again soon!

Overall we had a really good experience here, the pizza was very good and tasted great. It's a small footprint, limited seating, probably has 4-5 tables, plus a couple of outside tables, and bench seating along the windows. If you are a new customer you can join their rewards program and get 10% off your first purchase, so we got the large Chicago Style Pizza with Sausage, Onions, Green Peppers. My dad said the double dough pizza is really good too. They bring the pizza out piping hot in the cardboard box, and it was superb. They don't skimp on the cheese here that's for sure. I would have liked a little more sauce with my pizza. But the taste was superb and quality was very good. Crust was flavorful, you will want to eat it all - maybe dip it in garlic butter or some red sauce. The large was plenty for 3 of us as we had about 3 large slices left over to take home. They do specials here, today was a pasta special but we were set on the pizza which was good enough. I gave them 5-stars because the food was really good and the service was helpful and attentive. I think they could tweak a couple of things to make it better - - for example we wanted ice water but they do not have an ice machine (huh?). So we got lukewarm tap water from their sink. Tasted fine, but I think an ice machine would be nice added touch. I think maybe they want you to buy the bottled water. Also - I think when they serve pizza in-house, they should serve it on a platter, and then when there are leftovers to give the customer the right-sized (smaller) box. We only had 3 pieces left yet had to take the very large box home which doesn't fit in the fridge. Plus it's waste and over utilization. We could have gotten smaller to-go boxes, that way it's a win win for everyone. But overall we were very happy with our meal here. I would definitely come back, and I wish I had more time to try their double dough pizza as my dad said he really likes it. The Chicago Pizza here was really good and it's always good to carb up especially when it gets cold up there in Minnesota

Yesterday she completed her treatments and I took her to Terza to celebrate. Everything was superb - beginning with the spot on attentive wait staff service, very well crafted Negroni cocktail (love that they use Amaro Montenegro over run of the mill Rosso Vermouth), and the crazy good deep fried cheese balls. These were served with the house "Mother Sauce", which is the chef's grandmother's home recipe. My first comment to the staff was that they could close the restaurant and simply sell this sauce in jars at the grocery store and retire - it's that good. On to the main course, mom had the chicken scallopini with house made taglietelle and I had the house made gnocchi. The chicken was pounded thin and tender, breading perfectly seasoned and sauce well. Generous portion served with 4 cutlets and a nice side of pasta. The house made pasta was tender and paired with a really delicious mushroom sauce (I could just have plate of that for dinner and be happy). But the star of the show was the gnocchi. I have had many gnocchi in Italy. I have made many gnocchi at home. If you have had gnocchi you probably know it can be light or it can sit like a rock in your belly. This gnocchi was on another level. It was so delicate and fluffy, and sauteed to give it a nice browned surface. I cannot say enough about what a skilled and delicate hand it takes to make a gnocchi like this. I would drive the 5 hours back to Rochester just to eat this again. We finished our meal with the dessert special. It was a lemon semolina cake with a perfect sugary crust and an incredible whipped vanilla-marscapone cream and blueberry sauce. Umm - can I have another please? I don't know what else to say but if you are NEAR Rochester you should go eat at Terza.
