My parents like Rosati's Pizza, so they brought me here when I came to visit them. I haven't had good Chicago Style Pizza in a long time, and in Austin we don't really have anything here anymore that comes close. Overall we had a really good experience here, the pizza was very good and tasted great. It's a small footprint, limited seating, probably has 4-5 tables, plus a couple of outside tables, and bench seating along the windows. If you are a new customer you can join their rewards program and get 10% off your first purchase, so we got the large Chicago Style Pizza with Sausage, Onions, Green Peppers. My dad said the double dough pizza is really good too. They bring the pizza out piping hot in the cardboard box, and it was superb. They don't skimp on the cheese here that's for sure. I would have liked a little more sauce with my pizza. But the taste was superb and quality was very good. Crust was flavorful, you will want to eat it all - maybe dip it in garlic butter or some red sauce. The large was plenty for 3 of us as we had about 3 large slices left over to take home. They do specials here, today was a pasta special but we were set on the pizza which was good enough. I gave them 5-stars because the food was really good and the service was helpful and attentive. I think they could tweak a couple of things to make it better - - for example we wanted ice water but they do not have an ice machine (huh?). So we got lukewarm tap water from their sink. Tasted fine, but I think an ice machine would be nice added touch. I think maybe they want you to buy the bottled water. Also - I think when they serve pizza in-house, they should serve it on a platter, and then when there are leftovers to give the customer the right-sized (smaller) box. We only had 3 pieces left yet had to take the very large box home which doesn't fit in the fridge. Plus it's waste and over utilization. We could have gotten smaller to-go boxes, that way it's a win win for everyone. But overall we were very happy with our meal here. I would definitely come back, and I wish I had more time to try their double dough pizza as my dad said he really likes it. The Chicago Pizza here was really good and it's always good to carb up especially when it gets cold up there in Minnesota. read more

I have frequented Rosati's over a dozen times. I have to come clean and admit that I'm completely addicted to their super light and fluffy garlic parm doug nuggets. There pizza is solid and their cannolis are great. It's easy to pop in order so e food before a hair cut and grab it after. read more

We tried the pizza one evening and it was just average and kinda expensive for an average tasting pizza. We tried the chicken parmagiana and the chicken alfredo. The chicken in the parmagiana was not very good(flavor wasnt very good) and the cheese sauce in the alfredo was so overpowering and pungent. Sorry, but not for us. read more

My wife wanted a calzone. We searched about for our options and choose Rosati's. They seem to be primarily carry out and delivery, with limited dine in (5 or so tables). We sat down after ordering, on the fence about dining in or carrying out. When our calzones arrived, they were in pizza-like boxes, so we chose carry out. The calzones are large enough for three servings. Both of us chose to add 4 ingredients. So, 2 calzones and two bottled drinks totaled almost $60! The calzones were tasty, but not outstanding. Deep dish was really bland. Crust had no flavor and neither did the tomato sauce. Garlic bread was also bland and was sent with Italian dressing instead of garlic butter like we ordered. Probably won't be back here. Better places in Rochester that are similar in price with better food. read more

Went here for pizza after my neighbor recommend it to us. I had a thin crust pizza with around 5 ingredients added to it and my wife had a calzone. We wanted pasta without pretention. Rosati's is really just a carry out spot in a strip mall with a few tables. No problem. We got spaghetti with meatballs and chicken parmigiana. Wife really wanted some deep dish pizza. Found them online, heard of them, but never tried. They will have return service from me. Not just because the pizza is great, but because of their customer service. I didn't get my side order of mozzarella sticks when I picked up. I called and, first off, the people I talked to on the phone were incredibly polite (in many cases I get treated like garbage from most places). They offered to have it delivered or come back. When I asked for it to be delivered, they did not seemed bothered, simply said it could be a little bit. When the sticks got delivered, the driver even handed me some packages. We ordered 3 pizzas including a Chicago style, a double-dough, and a gluten-free (each with different toppings). I was extremely excited to try the Chicago style pizza and I was not disappointed. I loved the cheesy bottom and the sauce. I picked up some of their hot peppers which were a great addition. My wife wishes they had a gluten-free Chicago style. That would have really made her day. Like cold pie? This is your place!. I am a Chicagoan born and bread. I was told this pie would at least equal if not surpass the holy of holies...Lou Malnati's. First time I tried it I thought it was an almost reasonable facsimile. Problem is they told me when I ordered it take 50 minutes to make one. I happen to like my pizza to be at least hot enough for the cheese to melt and not coagulate to the point of when you try to pull a piece the slice completely falls apart in your hand and needs to be put in your oven to get your $20 pie to a reasonable temperature. I figured what the hell, was a weekend and I figured it was pretty busy and did not get upset. They were also a new store and I felt they were just going through 'growing pains'. The 2nd time I ordered I was also told 50 minutes. I arrived at about 40 min hoping to get my pie fresh out of the oven. Get home...had to turn on the oven. Today I gave them a 3rd chance. I showed up after 30 minutes. I figured I allowed an additional 20 minutes hoping I would for once get a hot pie. When I got there my pizza was already in their 'warmer' and is in my oven as we speak. 3 strikes you're out...would have been nice to have a decent pie in the area. read more

This review is based on two visits. On the first visit I had bone in Buffalo wings. They were very good. They were fairly large, cooked perfect and had a very solid traditional Buffalo sauce. They made them fresh so it took a few minutes but was worth the wait. On my second visit I had a slice of pepperoni pizza. I don't eat much pizza and maybe have a slice twice a year. The pizza was loaded with pepperoni and looked good enough to have a slice. It was just okay. The pepperoni was tasty, but the pizza was very light on sauce. I love this pizza. We stayed at a hotel and asked about getting pizza at check-in. She recommended Dominios...I don't think so. I serched and found and ordered Rosati's- got a 14" pepperoni/ sausage. We have Rosati's at our home town in Maryland so I was familiar with it and excited. I just wanted something quick and fast and saw they sold pizza by the slice for $3.50! I thought that was a good deal so I ran in there and they had 2 choices, one a pepperoni and one an all meat one (which I preferred but looked kinda old). The girl at the counter asked which one I wanted and I said "well I wanted the all meat but the pepperoni looks fresher so I'll take that one."
