My partner got the gluten-free cheese ravioli with meat sauce which he REALLY liked. I got the stuff gluten-free shells with meat sauce. The meat sauce was FABULOUS but the stuff shells were ok. The ricotta inside wasn't a smooth soft ricotta. It was baked and stuck together which isn't my thing. But I love it was GF. To start, the appetizers were instant hits. The chicken meatballs were full and flavorful, and it was very clear that they were hand-made because we could see the herbs inside. The mother sauce gave them a second layer of flavor upon dipping the meatballs in it. Then the lobster bisque totally blew my mind because it was so flavorful that I thought it was the best I had ever had. I could taste the heavy cream easily and I thought the sherry and brandy did a fantastic job in diversifying the flavors with the existing seasoning. We also loved how big the portion was for the hashbrowns and thought the gouda cheese had the right consistency to provide flavor and texture, while the caramelized onions gave a layer of sweetness which was refreshing because I don't often see that with hashbrowns, if at all. The mushroom risotto was also full of flavor, especially since it had truffle oil, making it full of umami. I also really enjoyed the tiramisu, as it was soft enough and had layers of ingredients that were clearly divided and defined. Relatively I enjoyed the pappardelle grilled chicken less because the chicken was hard to chew and the tomatoes didn't really help elevate the overall flavor. I also thought that the crème brûlée had too much egg yolk flavor, and since I make this dessert myself often, I knew it was because they didn't put enough sugar into the yolk, sugar, and heavy cream mixture. I would recommend adding more sugar to help overcome the yolk flavor. Despite my slight criticism, I still thought this was arguably the best Italian food that I have had in the entire state, and I would most definitely return if I come by Rochester again. Oh, I was also given a free limoncello shot for my birthday, which was insanely strong so I mixed it with my cocktail drink and it actually helped elevate my drink's flavor.

The scallops were spot on with a good sear and the whole dish came together really well. My wife had the chicken piccata (which I sampled - and really liked), daughter went with the wild mushroom tagliatelle, and her boyfriend had the pappardelle with grilled chicken and scallops.
