I have enjoyed toppers over a dozen times. I love that they try to go out of the box with creative pizza ideas. They have been very inconsistent with their orders. One order came with raw garlic nuggets (see picture) that you could stretch over a foot and the garlic sauce was not contained well and leaked all over the delivery driver and his bag and all over our floors. After microwaving them for 2 mins they were moist and flaky. Their dill pickle pizza tasted fine but had only a few pickles per slice one slice only having 2 pickles on it. Thin sliced pickles can't be that expensive? The dill seasoning was very inconsistent and was only somehow trapped onto one pickle slice.(See photo) That single bight was great. Speed and service has been ok but usually on the slower end. With a little fine tuning I believe toppers could become a great competitor against other pizza options. But if they continue their current path I feel they will fade. read more

Had a coupon stating NO EXPIRATION date for a free large pizza. Was told by the girl that they didn't accept them any longer. I started to walk out, and she said, "Wait a minute, let me see the card." I handed it to her, thinking she wanted to see what it said. Disclaimer: This is a review on their takout only. Having had toppers delivery on multiple occasions, I can confidently say this is some of the best "delivery" pizza Rochester has to offer. They usually have relatively affordable deals on their website that we try to take advantage of, such as a single topping pizza with an order of topperstix for x amount of $. Their bbq chicken and classic (supreme) pizza are our favorites; choose any crust you like, they're all good. The topperstix (think breadsticks with a slight twist) are also all tasty. We usually opt for the cinnamon version as a desert option for the kids. The delivery drivers have an uncanny ability to show up exactly at the time you requested (not a minute early or late). This helps take the guesswork out of wondering when they are going to show up with your order - very much appreciated! On a side note, all their delivery boxes come with a $5 off coupon on your next order of $20 or more. Not that they need this incentive to get our repeat business, but it's pretty cool nonetheless. For delivery pizza, it's hard to pass this place up. It assuredly beats the other national pizza chain offerings in town and puts up a decent fight with the local pizza joints as well. read more

Nothing special, but affordable and they have some options that the bigger chains like Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc, don't necessarily accomplish - like the (quite tasty) monkey bread, or the loaded-breadsticks idea that is the Topperstix. Service isn't remarkably good or bad - doesn't really blow your mind either way. There are occasionally good deals online but if you're really going for cost efficiency, the bigger chains are more reliable bets. If you wanted good pizza with something on the side that's different, go Toppers. Clean shop, slightly longer than average delivery times, polite but not overly helpful staff. In the past couple of weeks I've placed two large orders (online) from Toppers and I'm impressed with how easy it was. I asked that they deliver at noon and gave them some simple instructions on where I would meet them when the delivery person arrived. Each time the delivery person called me to let me know they would be there in 5 minutes and they were on time and very courteous. This place is located just off 52 at the second street exit and is in the same plaza as CherryBerry and the new Holiday Inn Express. The hours are great as I work late often and this place is open until 3AM. Not just for delivery but for the lobby as well! Parking is free. The prices are reasonable. the food is good and greasy, but really not a special or unique option. We are lucky to have a place close to the hospital with great hours that is reasonably priced. We are new to Rochester and well of course we had to find a pizza place to order from now and then for those lazy nights or weekends you don't want to cook! I would definitely recommend this pizza joint because they have not disappointed us yet. They are always prompt with delivery time and the pizza is always hot. The delivery people are also very nice. We usually get a medium pepperoni with mushrooms and a side of ranch. Only reason I don't give them a 5 Star is because we ordered their wings once and they were too soggy for our taste.
