Local fast food/ greasy spoon - with a delicious, if small, burger. They put the extras on including mustard and ketchup. Hand spun tasty milkshakes. Prices age reasonable plain burger, mushroom swiss burger and a shake was $10 They also have dogs and flounder etc , but we didn't try any nor was it ordered in our short first time here. This is my favorite Zacs locally. Has a cool retro drive-in vibe due to the building it is in. You can sit at tables (2/4 person tables) or at a counter. Good view of Five Points in Aston. You place your order at the register and they bring the food to your table. Burgers are usually good and everyone I go with likes their fries/cheese fries. Shakes are decent. Burgers here are better and presented better than the Ridley location. Not as expensive as Charlies (or Five Guys) but also not as good. Staff are friendly enough. We only go here for burgers, fries and shakes when coming through Aston but they have other stuff - soups, onion rings, etc. to please everyone (hopefully). Fast food only, no salads. They could clean up the place some, it feels kind of dated and a little grimy and the "co-ed" single bathroom is fairly nasty (and right off the eating area). ugh. read more

So close to being a 5 star burger joint. We ordered 4 different burgers, 4 different shakes and 2 kinds of fries. The burgers were very good, nice flavors, fresh ingredients. The regular fries were well cooked but the spicy fries had just a little too much seasoning but good flavor and the milkshakes were 5 star! The staff was also very pleasant. The reason I'm not giving them a 5 star is cleanliness. The bathroom and floors just need a good scrub. It wouldn't take much to take this burger joint from 4 to 5. Paid extra for lettuce and the one piece they put on there was half wilted. The one slice of tomato was slightly larger than a quarter. The bread was super soft, almost stale. A quarter of my fries were out of the bag, off my plate, and all over the tray when they brought it out to me. I really couldn't believe my eyes. I reeked of cooking oil grease when I left because it doesn't seem they wanted to turn the exhaust hood on. Maybe they were worried about the heating bill. Very disappointed. read more

Walked in today and ordered a cheeseburger with the works "for here". When the order was ready the cashier gave it to me in a bag, to go. "Whatever", I thought, I'll just drive and eat it. No big deal. However a couple minutes later I'm driving home and open the sandwich to find nothing but a burger, cheese, and a lot of lettuce. NO ketchup, mustard, pickles, onion, anything one might expect when they order "the works". Nope, just a cheeseburger with absolutely no condiments, no toppings at all except for lettuce - in my opinion the least valuable topping. I mean, who serves a burger with nothing but lettuce? I wasn't about to turn around and drive a mile+ back to the restaurant, but after having nothing but good experiences at Zac's, I was a little pissed when this happened. read more

The food is equivalent to a McDonald's dollar cheeseburger. Fair prices but for smaller burgers. The portions aren't quite sufficient to the portions and the burgers aren't awesome for it to be their specialty. I've been seeing Zac's locations around the area for a while, but had never checked one out until it came recommended. A guy had told me their burgers were on a level with Five Guys, so while I went in open minded, I was expecting pretty good things. I left disappointed. It was nowhere near that level. The best comp I could give is going over your friend's house, and these are the cheap burgers he grills while you're swimming in his pool. Hat tip to a very friendly staff. Zac's is delicious! Their burgers might not be as big as Five Guys but the service is always great and they make a tasty-NOT GREASY burger! Would recommend! The milkshakes are also amazing, glad they decided to make a smaller size as well! read more

Let me just say every time I'm in Delco, I make it a point to hit up Zac's. The place is still decent, not what it once was though. We went last night and it was dead, shocking for a nice Friday night. I ordered 2 burgers, they were very good, all the fixings, but the roll wasn't very fresh. I was also disappointed with the fries. My wife wanted a salad, she was told they don't have salads anymore. Not a huge deal but they should remove from the menu. I guess the new owners took them off, it's disappointing because my wife doesn't eat burgers. She settled with the chicken, she said it was ok, nothing to write home about. I remember the milkshakes bring much better than last night.. It's still a good place to go and I will give it another shot.. I'm just hoping the new owners make it as good as it once was.... read more

This place is hands down my favorite burger joint in the Tri state. I think all the negative reviews are from people who accidentally ate at McDonalds and wrote it on Zac's page instead. I had to add a review due to the negative ones. I really liked this place. Nothing fancy. A good, semi sloppy burger but I like that! None of that McDonalds crap. A good customized burger with tons of topping options including grilled onions! Spicy fries had weren't equally seasoned but a shake of the fries quickly fixed that. I will be returning. read more

Skip by Brian C's review, obviously a non Delco tool. This place is back to its old self after a semi recent sub regime change. Food was slipping for a little while there, but they're on track. The wife and I stopped by on the way to visit our daughter. The place didn't look like much from the outside but in this case, looks were very deceiving. I got a Double bacon Zac's burger with the works. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. The portion was larger than a dollar menu burger as one reviewer suggested. After reading a few of the reviews I had to wonder if they actually ate here or if they were really employees of Micky D's. The milkshakes were very good also. The service was friendly and quicker than I expected. We will definitely be stopping here again and visiting our daughter more often. read more

We used to get burgers & spicy cheese fries here often. We went tonight for Double Bacon Cheese Burgers, Plain Cheese Burgers, & Spicy Cheese Fries. It was awful, we will NOT be going back. The bacon was raw, the rolls tasted stale, & the cheese fries were not edible. They were AWFUL. We will never go back again, it was a complete waste of $20+ since we threw most of it away!
