My band had just finished playing a show nearby and we stopped in, genuinely looking forward to the food. In the parking lot, an individual none of us knew -- a college-aged kid who appeared out of nowhere -- was told by the bouncer to put his beer away. Instead of complying, he poured it down his pants. The bouncer then assumed this person was part of our group and refused us entry. At no point did anyone ask whether we knew him. When we tried to clarify, the bartender was dismissive and told us they wouldn't serve us because of our supposed association with him. No questions, no benefit of the doubt, just a blanket assumption. I understand that staff have to make quick judgment calls at the door, and I don't fault them for addressing the actual problem. What I take issue with is the refusal to spend ten seconds verifying who was actually involved before turning away a group of paying customers -- one of whom has spent a fair amount of money here over the years. The wings are good. The way the staff handled this was not. We won't be returning.

Please Read…read more Hello everyone! My name is Mark. I have read some comments that claim that Copley's is a dive bar. For me, this is not true. I have been frequently visiting Copley's long enough that I know the regulars, and they know me. Copley's has always been a nice stop for me. I even have their jukebox app on my phone. I always play music from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave. I have been complimented many times on my choice of music. On occasions I have had patrons buy me a drink. I believe this is because they have enjoyed my selection of music. I always tip the barmaids due to the great service that I have received. Just recently, an issue has developed between one of the barmaids and myself. Tammy, one of the staff, refuses to serve me. Please note that I have never gotten rowdy, also I have never been asked to leave.. On several occasions I have attempted to talk to Tammy. I have asked her on multiple occasions, can't we move on from this. Tammy's only response has been, I'm not serving you Mark. I usually depart from Copley's before 6:00. P.m.. Tammy's shift usually begins at 6:00. P.m.. On the occasions that I plan on staying past 6:00, my only option has been to order a few drinks in advance.
