They were incredibly kind and helpful when we came by to rent a cruiser. We forgot to bring a wagon with us to the beach and we were so tired from carrying so much stuff in the hot weather. They let us borrow their dolly to bring our stuff to the beach, and it was so incredibly kind of them to do that because it really helped us out. They're great people and I would def come back to support their business and try more of their rentals out. read more

BEWARE. Either their menu is outdated or they're scamming you. Chicken strips with fries on the menu says $13.99, but got charged $14.99. Then they took away all the patio umbrellas while we were there because it was too windy. Lol when is it not windy at the beach. EDIT: I got charged $30.09 when the receipt shows $29.07!! Do not go here!! read more

The owners are seriously the nicest people ever. It's not just a great spot for tourists -- locals love them too. My tire popped during the HB Poker Run, and they let me borrow one of their bikes completely free. We brought it back the next morning, accidentally showed up early, and they still opened up for us. They even let us use their pump so my dad could fix my bike. Truly above‑and‑beyond service. read more

So I'm sitting across the street at Hyatts having lunch with my family. Why might you ask am I writing a Zach's Too review while at Hyatt. Well, 15 mins ago i wanted to spend at least $100 for drinks and food for my family. I was in line waiting at register to order for at least 10 mins....nobody else was in line and an employee who clearly saw me was talking on his phone never bothered to assist. So finally I said, "Hey, sorry to interrupt but I did want to order some food but not anymore" And I left. Stunning! read more

My friends (couple) knew since grade school came out from the East Coast for a visit this weekend went to Zacks too to get a few e bikes to take a nice Cruz up the coast to Salt Salt ....... Hooked up with Ace ... such a kool laid back dude set us up with 4 newer bikes gave us locks to keep the bikes safe from theft walked us thru how to operate the bike cause there are a few different functions depending how you ride ..... explained everything thoroughly ...bikes ran perfect ....first time my friends rode an E Bike was a perfect day had them for a few hours ...... Thanks Ace and thanks Zacks too you guys are awesome read more

We came to the south end of the beach to this location to rent a family bike to ride along the beach path. The main location is in the north end. There are cool items in the gift shop and food that looks delicious. The employees during the summer are high school kids who are actually great at customer service. Lisa was awesome and was super chill. read more

Zack the owner asked me "If English was my first language" after I made order of a double hamburger and french fries at his business. I felt that was pretty racist. Or maybe he's a bit jealous that I'm much taller than his short ass! Zack is probably 5 foot 1 maybe? Tiny hateful little man. After I ordered my meal he kept reminding me my number is 69. Ok WTF? I don't understand why he keeps mentioning the number 69 to me. Bro I don't swing your way. As for the quality of your double hamburger. The grilled meat is very greasy, the tomatoes are not fresh but rather really spongy. There is barely any lettuce and I paid $7 for this? I give your burger to the homeless people walking around the beach that you labeled as "CRACKHEADS" which is pretty poor stereotyping especially coming out from a mouth of a business owner. Your $5 French fries are dried, hard, and there's no taste in them. There's not even salt in them. It's probably the worst French fries I ever ate in my entire life. It's far worst than the french fries I've ate in 3rd world countries street food. After walking 3 miles of the coastline on the beach I've thought about supporting your business instead of going to Dukes. But with your poor attitude and shitty food I'm going to take my money somewhere else. read more

The manager Ace is the man. Drove 2 hours to the beach to have a good time, really generous and gave a extra 2 hours on our bike rentals. We happened to get into a collision on our bike and he immediately called the lifeguards and they took care. 10/10 recommend. read more

I found Zacks Too when I went to the Airshow. I had the breakfast burrito. I was surprised that they made the burrito fresh. And it was a very good breakfast burrito. My son and I ate here Saturday 8/13/2023 and it was the best! Super nice cashier girl (pretty circle necklace) and manager (might of been the owner). Gave my son a free lemonade slushy! Honestly the best slushy we've ever had hands down. Very courteous and really good food! They take credit card too, I noticed I couldn't find that info on any website; it is convenient when you do not have to pay cash. It is in a nice well kept area for eating lots of shade. My son had the chili cheese dog and he said it was very delicious and had the right quantity of chili and hot dog. My son can sometimes be a food critic, lol! I had a double cheeseburger no bun very, very, good! I am on keto diet so I was concerned they wouldn't do the No bun but it worked out and I'm very happy! I used to live in the OC so I do miss it A lot has changed but for the better I say! Thank you Zack's Too, definitely will be back! read more

It would be nice if strips and cheese was served with actual strips and not triangle tortilla chips. After driving 35 minutes just to get $5.99 cheese strips was a little disappointing. Not reminiscent of cheese strips I use to get there from the 70's. read more

Wow.. This place was TERRIBLE. I really have no idea why I spent any money here. If you're smart and reading this, RUN! Go spend your money on Main Street for quality food. The service was mediocre and chick seemed bored and annoyed to be working. I send 3 bucks on a chocolate ice cream cone that tasted like chocolate flavored ice. It was disgusting. And the chili cheese fries might as well have been melted plastic dumped on under cooked fries. Ugh.. Save your money. read more

Its true, the owner is a rude (_(_) hole, and gave no apology for my screwed up order. My friend didnt have the most pleasant experience either, receiving her order after 4 or 5 other people had received theirs (she ordered a burger and fries btw, how hard could it be to complete that order..) The service was pretty crappy with the exception of one blonde chick behind the counter who was very nice and helpful. The food is mediocre.. fries were meh.. and the chilli on my fries tasted like generic store bought chilli. If it wasnt for the blonde, I would have given a 1 star rating. read more

I'd recommend ordering a few portions of each because you only get a couple pieces per order. There were two of us, and we ordered two portions of each meat, but still ended up needing to order more. The hot pot bar selection was pretty limited, but it had enough to do the job. Overall, I'd recommend Aura Sushi & Hot Pot if you're looking for a combination of sushi and hot pot. There's a wide variety of things including many cooked items, rolls, and carpaccios (limit as well). As for the hot pot, it's more shabu-shabu than hot pot if you know the difference. We got the beef bone broth which had good flavor. The meats were good, but a lot of the regular menu cuts are on the fattier side. They also have a vegetable and sauce bar that's self-serve. The service was good and the staff worked hard running food and keeping your table clear. We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't very busy. The hot pot meats came very quickly and sushi as expected took a little longer but came in reasonable time. Today I witnessed something truly heartbreaking near Zack's. A lovely family with four young children, who seemed to be foreign tourists, were so excited to rent bikes. The kids were full of energy and joy, speaking happily in their own language. But when they approached the rental stand, the staff member refused to rent them bikes. The only explanation given was that the children were "too noisy." It felt deeply unfair -- almost like they were being singled out or discriminated against. I later spoke with the father, who confirmed that the refusal was because of the children's noise. Seeing the kids' excitement turn into disappointment was a terrible experience, and it left me with such a heavy heart. As someone who was also born in another country and has lived in the U.S. for more than 50 years, I know what it feels like to be treated differently. I still speak English with an accent, and over the years I have faced my own share of prejudice. That's why this moment struck me so strongly -- I could truly relate to what this family was going through. read more

I highly recommend if you are a Black, Hispanic, or Asian to not to come to this place or he will chew your head off like a bunch of "piranhas" (a human meat eater fish). Enter at your own risk color residents, as I am a color person myself who had witness his lethal personality, throwing money in an Asian girl's face due to his mistake for taking the wrong order from her, and also making remarks to other COLORED costumers, "Go back to your country, where you belong you filthy people." I've been going to Zack's Too every summer for the past 2-3 years with my wife and niece, and it's always a fantastic experience! Went here the first time today. Horrible joint. I ordered a chicken burrito. Nothing else. 35 minutes later, I asked why it wasn't ready. He said it was coming up. 5 minutes later I got it. I sat down and started eating, wondering why there was no chicken in it. Halfway through, I bite into a chunk of deep fried fish. I don't eat anything fried! I left it on the table and walked off. Same 40 minutes before my friend got her burger and fries, as well. I should have gotten my money back, but I was too annoyed to deal with them any further. Will never go back. read more

Don't listen to the retard who gave 2 stars. Lets be honest first and foremost Zack's is a rental shop. and their service was awesome. I make a few trips to the beach every year to surf and always rent. Zack's is the best service Ive ever seen. Mike Ali made sure that we were properly outfitted and even gave us some pointers about the local surf and currents that helped us catch some great waves. its the middle of December and they are one of the few shops still renting and you cant beat their location. right off the pier and on the sand. read more
