Always been a fan of Perry's.... Now it's just hard to choose them over any other pizza as it's gone down in quality and doubled in price. I'm sorry, but 7 dollars for a slice is insane with 1/3 of the slice is bread. The flavor has gone away as well. It's sad to see the days of getting a slice to go as an affordable option. Also, it's a little confusing when online it says 3.50 a slice, online order says 4.50, inside says 5 dollars and then when you get rung up it says 6.80. read more

Some things never change, and that's a good thing! Okay, one thing changed. Perry's moved (right across the street) , and I'd call that an upgrade. The new location is newer, nicer and definitely a step up from the old-school Little League team hangout vibe with kids running amuck everywhere. I hadn't been to Perry's in years, so of course I had to order my old usual: a combo pepperoni pizza slice with the side salad and that thick ranch dressing. And somehow...it's exactly what I remembered. The salad still cracks me up. It's basically a big pile of shredded mozzarella, iceberg lettuce and pretty much nothing else. No fancy mixed greens. No heirloom tomatoes. No chef trying to impress you with microgreens. Just iceberg, a ridiculous amount of mozzarella and that thick ranch. And you know what? It hits. The pizza is the same kind of satisfying, old-school pizza I remembered. Good crust, plenty of cheese, pepperoni with a little grease doing exactly what pepperoni grease is supposed to do. Nothing trendy or reinvented. Just solid pizza that takes you back. There's something great about returning to a place after years away and finding that the food you remembered still tastes like the food you remembered. New digs. Same Perry's. I've been eating at Perry's Pizza since I was a teenager, and after all these years, it still never disappoints. The Sicilian Pizza is ridiculously good -- the sauce is perfectly balanced, and the dough has that fresh, flavorful taste that's hard to beat. This Huntington Beach location opened a few years ago after moving from Newport Beach, and I used to visit the Newport spot (and even earlier ones in L.A. County) all the time. It's great to see the quality and flavor have stayed consistent through every location change. The restaurant itself is always clean and organized, and the service is super fast. The staff is friendly, and they always get my order right. The decor has a laid-back, rustic beachy vibe that fits perfectly with the Huntington Beach setting. Bad experience. I came here once a long time ago when it opened and it was good. I recently stopped by again and it was horrible. First or all, no one was there and it was 5:30pm. Three people under the age of 20 were working. A chef, another kid who wasn't doing anything, and a girl behind the bar that spent the whole time talking to a guy sitting at the bar. They screwed up our order, food tasted weird, and the check was completely wrong. Only thing we could fix was the check. A message to the owner: It's obvious you don't care about your business any more so just close. I'm pissed because I waisted my money at your hole. You owe me. Brought some people ended up with for fur dinner. I honestly like this place for the overall relaxed and pleasant experience. We were greeted and served well. Decided to get way more food than we needed, but it was very tasty. Garlic twists were super good, so I definitely recommend them. Pizza save salad was good too. I I'm trusting have act of the pasta, but they seemed to enjoy that too. When you go out you just want the good to be good, and deal with nice happy people. This was an so around great diving experience. The place is clean, and I honestly didn't know they had so much dining space. This place is way bigger than I realized. Located on the cross streets of Hamilton and Brookhurst, inside the Trader Joe's shopping center is Perry's Pizza. I simply craved Spaghetti with meatballs to go and it was an 8 out of 10. It was good, tasty and plenty with an affordable price under $25.00. However, if you take it to go, make certain they close the entire container all around by pushing all the foils down around the edges. The reason for this is when I took the spaghetti entree out, it had dripped sauce all over my brown paper bag to go and leaked through onto my vehicle carpet while I was driving. I love their wings. They have a nice char. The hot sauce is great. The blue cheese and the ranch are homemade. It comes with carrots, celery, and cucumber sticks! It's approx a pound which is like 8 wings. But it fills you up, especially if you eat all the vegetables. read more

I used to pick up pizza here fairly often but I won't be coming back anymore. Almost every single time, there is an issue. I went in the other day to pick up a slice of pizza. They gave me an old slice that had new reheated cheese on top. Like literally a slice that had probably been sitting out for a couple hours and just added a glob of cheese on top and heated it up. Don't offer slices if that's how they are. Time before that, my pizza and bread twists were way undercooked. Before that, I was missing a topping that I paid for. Is this place closing down or something? It always looks empty and food quality has gone down the dump. The kids working are always nice, but the owners need to either step in or get real management. Finally got to try this place and I'm so glad we did. It was our first time here and the food was delicious. Ordering at the counter was easy, the staff was super friendly, and before we knew it our food was already at the table. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. There were three of us and the pizza was more than enough to fill us up. The servers came around a couple of times to check in and refill our waters, which I really appreciated since not every place does that. Can't believe I forgot to post a review! So I've been doing this thing lately where I try and go to a famous film location that also serves food. It's been very fun. Ok, Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) was filmed here, but they DID work at Perry's Pizza! (It was filmed at the Sherman Oaks Galleria, but it's not the same anymore). Anyways, this Perry's Pizza is one of the few (or only?) remaining Perry's, so it was a good excuse to try it! A friend also gave a hearty recommendation. Said Perry's was the big hangout in high school. For some reason I deleted my pics! It was a couple months ago. Verdict - we got a large barbecue pizza and it might be the best pizza I've ever had! My 17 year old son agreed. AMAZING! We probably could have gotten a small pizza and been full, but I wanted leftovers and didn't mind paying for a large. I think it was $32, but super thick and the BBQ sauce on the pizza was incredible. I pretty much love all pizza, and am not a connoisseur by any means, but this pizza was on a whole other level. I ordered a mushroom pepperoni pizza with meatballs on half. I got one mushroom sliced on the entire pizza. I counted 10 slices which equal one mushroom. Come on Perry's do better. It's currently in the oven with added pepperoni because it's sooo lacking. read more

Got the square veggie pizza and it was lacking a few things. First, the pizza wasn't cut when I picked it up. Secondly, the pizza was lacking sauce and herbs. Needed to add oregano and ground garlic to make it taste better. I've had the round pizza from here as well and those taste much better. I would never recommend the Prime Rib being served on Wednesdays. It's so tough I had to ask the waitress to cut it. She took it back. The second slice wasn't as bad but still unacceptable. As for my waitress she was very cordial , professional , always with a smile and filled glasses on time. Perry's has always been one of our favorite local eateries, but lately, the prices have skyrocketed tremendously and the food subpar. My husband grabbed for me my favorite crispy chicken salad to go yesterday. It was the size of a small side dinner salad and the chicken looked like it had been flattened by a steamroller, a far cry from the chunky, tasty pieces before. Instead, it tasted like cardboard. To boot, there was hardly any chicken or other toppings, just A LOT of lettuce. Hardly worth the $16.60 price tag. Additionally, my husband's chicken sandwich was a fraction of the size it used to be at a whopping $21.05! Such a disappointment.
