This is my first visit to Eggbred at any location. I simply did a yelp search for breakfast sandwiches. I placed my order online and it said to expect a 15 minute wait. I received a notice in four minutes that my order was ready, so I rushed over to pick up my sandwich as soon as I could. I could see that there were a few customers coming in and out of the restaurant. The young lady cashier was very friendly and handed me my takeout order immediately. The dining room room looked clean and welcoming, so I may have to dine in next time. I meant to take a picture of my sandwich, but I devoured it very quickly. I ordered the bacon an egg sandwich and it was delicious. The overall team did an excellent job and I am glad that the service was friendly. Btw, I returned a fee days later and ordered the same breakfast sandwich. This is how I got the pictures added. I was looking for some breakfast, and decided to go check this place out as it was very close to the place I was staying. It was very easy to find in the parking lot which made it very simple for me to get in, and find a parking place. You can't miss the big logo so I knew exactly where to go. inside, the place is a little bit small but still there was plenty of seating available and it just had a warm fuzzy vibe to it. They had a very great comprehensive menu, I opted for the prime rib loaded California burrito. This place does not disappoint! That was such a good burrito, complimented perfectly by the spicy red salsa. The burrito itself was loaded with prime rib carne asada and had great potatoes, scrambled eggs and other accoutrement which made it amazing. Bottom line? If you are looking for a great breakfast place this would be it. you can get in there. grab your burrito. hang out if you want and be on your way. Eggbred had been on our list for awhile and we are so glad we finally went as we were pleasantly surprised! I got the scramble me softly and added bacon since there was no protein. It was delicious, the bacon was exactly what it needed. The eggs with chives was so soft and pillowy. My boyfriend got the bacon egg and cheese, he added sausage. We both agreed that the sausage flavor threw it off. He said he would want the eggs I got instead of an over medium egg. Went on a Saturday around 11am and it wasn't busy so we didn't wait long. Compared to other egg specialty joints like Eggslut or Eggtuck in LA, I'd say the menu here was far more vast. You order at the front, and they will bring your food out to you. We came here after running the Surf City Marathon, and it hit the spot! I ordered the steak and egg sandwich, and it was extremely flavorful. It was literally what I needed to replenish my energy. Scramble Me Softly - the bread (I could eat six buns in one sitting), the soft scrambled egg (are there lessons to do that at home?), caramelized onions (give me more). I loved it so much I may have nibbled on the paper to get every last morsel of egg and cheese. Still my favorite breakfast restaurant in the OC area. The store inside is spanking clean -- tables gleaming and spotless, not a crumb found on the ground inside or outside the restaurant. I think it has got to be one of the CLEANEST store in all of the area. I eat out a lot and don't know of any other restaurant facilities that's as clean as EggBred HB location. Love knowing their breakfast sandwiches are $2 off Monday-Thursday. I know I will be swinging by just to get some food especially when I am taking my dogs to Vetco. The breakfast poutine was tasty and fresh as always as was my favorite beer battered potatoes. Absolutely phenomenal service and food quality consistency. Egg bread has such a fun menu and is such a cute spot to grab brunch or lunch with friends their sandwiches are so cute and so easy to eat, and they have such a variety of different types of sandwiches. Today we finally tried this place, here's my review. We ordered a Chorizo burrito and an Applewood Smoked Bacon burrito with 2 cokes. My chorizo burrito was low on Chorizo and had a lot of potatoes in it. I'd say it was decent. My wife's burrito was decent also, nothing that stood out in it. If you want a 12oz can of Coke it's $3.00, maybe they should buy them at Costco or Smart and Final or get a fountain machine. 2 burritos and 2 cans of Coke came to $35.68 with tip.
