    Steak Bowl

Stumbled upon this place on a Sunday because Main Street and peer were too busy for my overstimulated dogs. It was a very pleasant surprise, with parking, patio, and indoor seating tucked on a quieter corner one block away from Main Street. The food was light, clean, flavorful, and the steak was tender and juicy. I got the steak bowl and zatar fries which were both delicious and tasted very clean. Next door the cafe has redbull infusions so I grabbed one to fuel up for my walk to the dog beach. On my way back Angry Al's back patio was popping with a DJ and even dancing Bratz dolls. They were so cute and i definitely would book them for my own party lol. Overall 10/10 location , parking, food, and vibes . I recommend it everyone I met that day. I will be back!

This is just what we needed for a fresh, healthy and quick option just off Main St. The employee at the register went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful, and even came around to those of us sitting outside to put up the umbrellas for us. The Mediterranean menu is mainly comprised of bowls, wraps and sandwiches and they have a few American items like a cheeseburger and chicken tenders. They even have breakfast. I had the steak wrap, subbed the fries for a side salad, and it was the perfect lighter lunch for my workday. I work in the area so I look forward to coming back more often.

Took a trip to Angry Al's and left feeling anything but angry. The food is fresh and flavorful, served in a bright, inviting space by an incredibly friendly staff. Huge shoutout to Danny, the owner, who took the time to personally welcome our group and share a bit about the restaurant's story. Love hearing that he could (and probably does) eat here every day, which is always a great sign! I went for the Carnivore Bowl because I had to try all the meats, then added almost all of the dips and dressings on the side--10/10, would recommend. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Frankie, the manager, surprised us with their new baklava for dessert that did not disappoint. Perfectly light and flaky *chef's kiss* Pro tip: After your meal, pop next door to 602 Coffee for the perfect post-lunch pick-me-up.

We were on our way to Sancho's Tacos and saw this new restaurant, Angry Al's is open. Yelp reviews looked good and it's new so we decided to detour here. And we love Mediterranean food! This is a cute location with prime realty on the corner of 6th and PCH. Great view of the pier & on 4th of July they will have an excellent view of the fireworks! When we got there the gentleman kindly said we have pictures and they had a menu on the counter with images of their food items. He also suggested what is good. I ended up getting the HB Fire Wrap with chicken and we got the Avocado Bliss Wrap with steak. When we got the receipt we were a bit surprised that the protein is additional. The chicken was $2.99 and steak is $3.99. It'd be nice if they add the price to the menu and/or mention it when we order. The menu says wrap + choice of protein but doesn't say protein costs additional. We also got the Zatar wrap which is made of herbs like thyme and that was tasty and tasted healthy! That was $0.25 cents extra which isn't bad but maybe mention it when your customers pick it so they aren't surprised. The HB Fire Wrap was good; loved the pickle inside. The chicken tasted a bit dry. The Avocado Bliss Wrap was better and the steak was good. And the sauce with it was yummy! Glad we tried a new location in HB!

Really tasty food, on the corner of PCH and 6th. Service was very friendly, patio and inside seating. Windows open to enjoy the ocean breeze.

I just wanted a snack so I got the fried cauliflower which was amazing! It's not breaded, so doesn't end up tasting or feeling greasy. It's served on a bed of shredded lettuce so I ended up cutting it into pieces, pouring my tahini sauce over and turning it into a salad. There are so many other fresh and delicious-looking items on the menu. The guy helping me was very thoughtful, eagerly steering me toward the falafel when I said I wanted a vegan sauce. I took my order to go but there is plenty of tidy inside and outside seating.

We came here on a Saturday for lunch and found parking behind the restaurant which shocked me. I thought for sure we'd have to search high and low for parking. We ordered two wraps and fries and a drink. The service was great and special shout out to Amber who helped us out on this visit. She was kind and courteous and answered all our questions. The other staff we interacted with was also super nice. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the chicken wrap! The fries were delicious too! Definitely come down and give this place a try!

I had the chicken shawarma at Angry Al's and it was delicious! Very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The staff and the owners, Danny and Al, were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving a great shawarma and Middle Eastern food! Will def be going back soon

Food is awesome! Portions/ quality/ taste all on point. Wasn't sure when they first opened as a new restaurant on the block but they have more than proven themselves a killer addition to the neighborhood! Besides the delicious food I have to say the service I get every-time brightens my day, the workers there have an infectiously positive energy and seem genuinely stoked to share their delicious menu items (great variety I might add) cause they know it's fire! Not to mention they have a discount for locals which is greatly appreciated. As a bonus they're right next to a great coffee shop too so you can get your caffeine fix while you're waiting, perfect lunchtime pitstop!

We ended up going next door for drinks while we waited. The beers are definitely a lot better than the seltzers that they have at the location. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating available. Some of the indoor seating is near an open door and the staff let us know that the door has to stay open if their patio had people dining. The soft pretzels were some of the best that I've had. They were extremely soft and fluffy with the right amount of salt. The cheese that it came with was more on the mild side but tasted great. The mozzarella sticks came in a tray of 4 and they were perfectly crispy on the outside and melted in the middle. The outside of the mozzarella sticks was fairly dark similar to when a deep fryer needs an oil change. The wings were delicious and the chicken was juicy. The pizza was also delicious. We decided to order the pizza as half and half so that we could try two of their combinations. Both were delicious and the crust had a good crisp to it.

Heard the wings were killer here. Solid 4 overall…read more Came in for an early dinner. Because of location & rep, I might suggest the same-off hours or expect a wait. Ordered: 1) Nashville dry rub wings w/riip'n ranch. These wings were GREAT! Dry rub so crustless. Big juicy wings (not like the Cornish hen wings I had at a Japanese place famous for wings). Didn't really care for their house made ranch-just a personal preference. 2) Caesar salad: heard it was great & it was! Crisp romaine lettuce, not overly dressed, crisped focaccia type bread slices in liu of croutons. With a TON, not kidding, maybe 1/2-3/4c of fresh grated Parmesan cheese on top. If you're a Caesar fav, order this. You won't be disappointed. 4) smashed burger: hubby loved it. He enjoys a good burger. However, to do it right at home, you gotta grind your own meat blend. Who has the energy to cube, freeze, grind your burger blend? Shooot...for $14 we'll just come here! 5) one slice of pepperoni. He enjoyed it. Ok I get the attraction of "just a slice". Like they do in NY. Not sure what their set up is here. Well...we'll just HAVE to come back damn! Order the great pizza they're know for. Maybe force down those delectable wings. Poor us.

My husband also got the chicken and waffles but he got the chicken breasts. It was on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was buzzing with activity. There were plenty of people sitting at the bar, and a lot of the tables had multiple people in their parties. We got seated right away, and it only took moments for our server to come by and ask us about drinks. We both ordered a couple ice teas and water, and enjoyed the ambiance. One of the nice things about this place is it definitely has a hometown vibe to it. Like seriously, you feel like you are in someone's home rather than a restaurant. The food came to the table very quickly, and it was very delicious! My friend had the tuna melt and a side salad, it looked huge! You definitely get your bang for the buck here! I opted for something slightly lighter, so I ordered the half Caesar salad with chicken. Chicken. Let me tell you something, I'm glad I ordered the small cuz I can't imagine how huge this salad would be as a large! The chicken breast on top nearly covered the entire bowl of salad! And it was absolutely delicious. The service was top notch, the ambiance was great, and the food was outstanding! They even had some party going on in the back, with just added to the excitement of the place. And on the way out, I noticed they had a thrifty ice cream shop right in the restaurant! So you could grab yourself a single double or triple scoop cone! Bottom line? You cannot go wrong with this place. If you've never been and you're a local, what the heck? You are definitely missing out. If you are in the Huntington Beach area, you definitely have to go to Mama's on 39.
